Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 601 N Main Street, Orange, CA

Ive had many storage units in the past and this location is by far the best one. The property is always very well kept and the bathroom is super clean. One thing that I hated about other storage locations is that the restroom was never clean so this is a huge plus for me! (I work in construction so I'm here pretty often). Dalia is the manager and she is always super nice. When I moved in, she explained everything to me very clearly and was patient as well. It is clear that Dalia cares about her customers. Highly recommend this location and Dalia as well!

Nice property, moving in from Chapman and have been coming in to store my items. Dalia was helpful from the start, the online lease was fast. The property is simple and easy to access my space.

My storage is good for the time frame I need it. Got a good location on the property Dalia and Jessy have helped me out either if I need to make a payment or just update the account. But now I have the PS app still want that customer interaction service. I still come in to say hello. Outstanding workers here.

Muy mal servicio llege al lugar en horarios de oficina estaba serrado llame al teléfono que está ayi me dijeron que me iban allí dar que dejaron esperando 20 minutos y nunca salieron alludarme pésimo servicio se supone que el horario de oficina es de 9a 6pm y llege a las 3pm no lo recomiendo

Dirty. Never clean. Trash and dirt every where. The new pavement has eliminated some of the dirt. Seen homeless shower in their vehicles and drian it in the alley. Then you have to walk or drive thru it. Security is a gate, lights and new camers. Per staff and Orange PD a lot of beeakins and homeless living in units. Seen break ins and homeless living in units. Cheapest around. Get what you pay for here. I add 1 star since the new cameras and new pavement. The staff has gotten better. No one has yelled at me in a few years.

My truck broke down in front of this location & I won’t say “unfortunately” since “Dalia” was extremely professional & really kind that allowed me to use the facilities! No second guessing! Clean establishment 100% recommended!

Both disappointed and appreciative given their gate hours... 5pm closed hard and get called the next day at but crack of dawn if you exit 1 minute late. Hard close at 5pm 7-days a week.

I had moved quite a distance from my storage, needed to make payments and grab my holiday tree. It was late, traffic, etc. The most amazing employee Christina, was on her way to lunch. She took the time to listen to me and put my needs before hers, which she absolutely did not have to do. She went into the office and with a smile and great attitude, took care of all my needs, including purching a box! I have been in customer service all my life, and used Public Storage for years. Christina is the epitome of customer service, with the emphasis on Customer!.. Public Storage is lucky to have such an employee.

This property is always always clean,looks up to date,etc etc. I recently had a little issue w/my rent to my own fault. However, Christina called me to remind me of what was happening. I met with her Sunday afternoon to get everything fixed correctly. But, as we were talking & were disagreeing about the amount due. I was looking @one account & she was looking @ another. She very quickly said "I'm sorry" & we both kinda took a deeper breath to relax. She did her magic & saved me some money. She went above & beyond to make sure I didn't leave unhappy or with any doubts in mind. She's a super wonderful asset to this company & property! Won a unit here via auction on Storage Treasures. Drove over 45 mins to pick up unit and nobody is in the office. Thought they might be on lunch so I waited over an hour and nobody ever showed up or answered the phone here. Multiple people who wanted to rent a unit also showed up and left to rent from another facility since nobody was in the office. Their office hours were posted as 930am to 5pm today, I arrived at 11am and left @ 12:22pm. Wasted $20 in gas and over two hours of my time in commuting and waiting at facility.

Today I came to make a payment and I had a few questions about my unit , once I walked in the door I felt so welcomed , Britany was extremely friendly and it’s early in the morning she helped me make my payment and answered a few questions! I always come here and it’s clean ! And safe ! Thank you britany for being helpful and taking the time to answer my questions! And making sure everything is good around here !!!!

Dalia is awesome! I locked my unit wrong the first night. No worries! She secured it and is super helpfu! Common sense in a world that is lacking! Space was nice and clean and seems very safe! I came from another Public Storage where they where not nearly as personable! Dalia rocks!

I wish i could give this place 0 stars. My boyfriends unit was robbed clean and not a single person can help. They don’t even bother to look at the one or 2 cameras they have (useless.) this has happened to multiple people on site! If you check the Yelp listing you will see that so many people have their stuff robbed. Please be careful ! Don’t leave a single thing of value here and please use your own insurance!!!

If they give you a price over the phone, they problably aren't mentioning the insurance you have to pay, and the prorated price on top of that. You can void the prorated price if you rent the storage on the first of the month. Don't forget to take your lock with you, or they won't rent you the storage, unless you buy the lock from them, $25. If you forget, there's a home Depot just a couple of streets away selling the same lock for half the price 👍

Worst company I've ever had to deal with overall. Individual sites vary...from adequate to lawsuit provoking enragement based on how truly terrible to manager is.

Customer service was good but they needed to intersct with corporate and their call center to get a promo discrepancy figured out...Evelyn eas extremely helpful tho.

There's been repeated series of burglaries and the very young staff doesn't follow security protocol or company procedures.

Place is to expensive and now they are raising the rates . Will be moving my stuff out

They're extremely lucky that we don't file a lawsuit against them. Rude employees and total liars. Insurance is not mandatory. Also, when my husband was trying to clean out the unit on a hot day they harassed him when he had to stop from heat exhaustion and he has a bad foot. The one idiot called the police on him just because he told her he was going to sue. That's a false report. It's actually a misdemeanor! The whole crew needs to be FIRED!!!!

I had my space for two years and a half going to three years and I must say that Peggy the manager is by far the most professional lady that has worked in that location. I am very happy and recommend public storage to anyone that is a transition or just needs extra space where to store things for some time.

Peggy helped us rent a space last summer and she was so helpful and kind. I called ahead to let her know what time I planned to drop by and she was there ready when I arrived. She clearly explained everything and made it a smooth process. Accessing the storage has been easy and we have had no issues with this location.

I needed a storage near one of the facilities that I work at...and after some light research I came across this PUBLIC STORAGE. I have to be perfectly honest and say that the prices are average at best, and the facility is somewhat outdated...but what impressed me the most was the superior customer service by the manager PEGGY♥️♥️💚💚She is extremely polite and knowledgeable! She made the process go through very smoothly and handled everything so effectively and professionally!!💚

Staff tries hard, but their company/Management tries very hard to anger all customers. AVOID PUBIC STORAGE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!

The Public Storage off of Main and Orangewood is very bad at choosing their employees! The manager is very rude. When I had went the gate system was not working, the manger did not do anything about it. I had saw a youmg woman jump over the fence to get inside. I will never rent from there again!

Office nice to pay bills, place seems orderly but I don't rent at this location

This is the first time I get a public storage unit and Peggy was super helpful at walking me through the whole process. She also made me feel that my stuff is safe because she really looks after the place.

Peggy is an awesome property manager she helped me out when I was out of state and ensured my account was properly taken care of so I would not lose my unit. I would HIGHLY recommend this property as they have shown numerous times they actually care for there customers and there customers property.

I thought this has very good staff, I like the fact that it's close to my house. But views have changed being as Dec 1,17 they are changing their hours for access. I remember signing a contract that stated access until 9pm. Now they will close at 6pm & on wkends 5pm. The only reason I went to this place was the last access. Now how about lowering my monthly rate to compensate the difference. This REALLY SUCKS..

Starting price was ok and getting the first month free was nice but the big rate increases every 6 months just made it terribly expensive...If you stay longer than intended it becomes not worth it and it's better to sell or give away your things then to continue to pay a large sum of money every month. It is a very clean facility. Hallways are nice and wide so no problem moving large pieces of furniture around. They provide large dollies to use to move your things...if it's a weekend you'll probably have a wait to get one. There are 2 large elevators, some businesses only have "lifts" which means you have to take the stairs. The "surveillance cameras" don't monitor the inside aisles....just some key places, but we had no issues with theft. little stuffy and warm especially if you're doing the loading & unloading. Was sometimes difficult to reach office staff during the time we rented with PS which made things difficult if you need an immediate answer. Dale who works in the office at the time of writing this was a really nice guy and made things easy for us. Wish they'd had the 2 restrooms in order when we moved out...had to go to another business to do our business.

This PS storage is a good one. Debbie has given me great personal service, starting from the moment I requested info online. She called me in less then 30 mins after I the send button. Best rates for a full sized unit with an outside roll up door, Easy to pay online or in person at ANY PS storage. Renting People are terrible, tossing out their unwanted things, but the employees keep it clean. Good office hours, good gate hours. Never have I had any problems. I highly recommend this place if you need to store anything!

Great price for storage

My husband and I stored our items at this location for over a year. The property is highly secured with a coded gate, coded entry door, and very secure locks (you buy there $5.00) for the doors. Evelyn and Jill were very attentive and were very helpful! We highly recommend this place!

I'm not happy with this company they have Raised my rent from $185.00 to $ 244.00 In 2 years . Why I'm looking to move there Is no reason to punish the reliable renters And reward the new tenants with $1.00 first Month etc. It's a slap in the face to tenants Who pay on time for over 2 years. Also they Never have the public storage sign on after Dark. It's hard to find all the other public Storage places have signs on well lite.

There simply is no other storage facility that compares with this Public Storage. The staff are all very nice and extremely helpful. It is always clean. They have the lowest price I have found per square foot. I feel my belongings are safe 24/7. And speaking of that I have access to my stuff almost 24/7 the gate hours are the longest of any storage place.

I have stored my things at this location. Debbie and Gretchen are the best ! Through the years I have grown to know them and really like their attitudes and customer service. They are always very helpful in every way. I speak from experience and it is good to know that they always do their jobs so well.

I have been a customer for the past year and a half at this location. The manager Tony and his assistant, Patrick have given me and my girlfriend awesome customer service. Unfortunately we will be moving to another location because our rent space gets raised every so months. I was having trouble logging into my online account and Patrick really went out of his way to help me through it :) every time we go both Tony and Patrick are so helpful and seem to be very proactive workers. That kind of service will be missed and was greatly appreciated!

My family used this place a couple of times. The inside building has all the smaller spaces that the college students use and it looks like there may be some homeless people that hang out there which is a little un-nerving. The women in the office and super nice and very helpful, I think one of them lives on sight which made me feel a little bit better. Prices are a little high but the location is very convenient off the 57. I'd use this storage again if I needed one.

Debbie at Public Storage was very helpful, I came in the weekend I was moving to Northern California looking for a place to store stuff temporarily. She was so helpful and helping us pick the right storage unit and even followed up with me to see how my move went. I would recommend this place for sure.

It is a great storage facility - very friendly and professional staff, and safe, clean and well lit facilities. Even the inside units are well planned with well lit and clearly accessible hallways. I would highly recommend renting storage from this Public Storage facility, and their online rates are amazing. I previously rented a storage unit from another storage company (not Public Storage) and would never go back.
