7/25/22: I have been using this Public Storage for 17 years for one reason: Blanche. She is the master at customer service and will do whatever she can to meet your needs. Unfortunately, she is no longer there and if it was a management decision, shame on them. They must have not spent enough time observing and appreciating her skills and maybe even learn from them. I’ll be leaving soon and I’m sure many more will too.

Blanche and Yvonne in the office were very helpful and straight-forward. Knew all the answers to my many questions as I shopped for storage. The convenience of this location to my home, the ease of getting in and out - and Blanche - helped make the decision to choose them. My big disappointment was on moving day when we had four full carloads to unload and store, there were no carts to be found. Finally, with help from the staff, ONE was found, and we used it to finish. It was much harder work on moving day having to carry things rather than cart loads at a time. I think a place this large should have more carts on hand - and keep a better eye on them. It was a busy day there and they should have more than a total of THREE carts on the premises. That said, the location, condition, price, and staff are terrific. UPDATE. A year or more later it seems the rates go up approx 5-10% every few months. Frustrating. The location and not wanting to move everything keeps us there. I'm sure they count on this when they determine their increases. UPDATE AGAIN: a few days after my last update - stating my frustration with the frequent rate increases, I received a call from Rachel. She was tasked with trying to reverse my frustration (review) and told me she can put in a request for a rate decrease. She did accomplish this and lowered our rate a small percentage. A pleasant change of pace. Unfortunately they did this only after receiving a poor public review. Rachel was evidently able to get permission for this gesture with the intention of a better review, so I'm raising it to 3 stars from 2. Thank you Rachel for your efforts. Another Update: January 2022. We were trying to switch the name and credit card on the account - in person - with ID. We were told the policy/procedure is to cancel the agreement (emptying the unit) and start a new agreement with a new unit and credit card.... no thank you. We then asked if we could simply add his name to the account and were told again, it's not policy. We were offered the 'we care #' to call and see if they can help. So, today I called the 'we care #' and waited almost 30 minutes for a customer service person. After confirming my account information, I was told he's already on the account - and we could go to our online portal to alter the payment method and authorized users and anything else there. WHAT?? This said, maybe we didn't ask the question correctly (in person) in a way to make our intentions clear?? Possibly we didn't understand the answer or options correctly?? Either way, it is frustrating to think someone who has been managing there for years couldn't try to help us figure it out and let us leave having accomplished nothing but a waste of time and energy. Side note: when the gate was broken for an extended period of time, we were told it's ok and we 'needn't worry because ours is an inside unit'. AND, I realize prices and rates EVERYwhere have increased. We've had slight other increases, but our most recent rate hike was a full 20%. Shame on us for staying there - it's the price we pay for convenience - and for having too much 'stuff' Today's feeling is a poor one star.

I am so happy with our Unit and the customer service. It is exceptional and definitely worthy of its 5 stars. I would rate it a 10 if I could. The unit is such a great location, clean, safe and accessible for drive up. Blanche and Rachel are awesome. Super friendly and cheered up my son who wanted to take a stroll and explore. They unexpectedly invited us in and greeted him in with trick o treats, cup cakes and treats galore. Dressed as a bubble bee was an added fun. :) This location has an advantage to be across from a plaza and accessible to eatery and UPS to assist with our shipments. I feel our unit is super safe which has cameras all over and is only accessible by a code and is well gated.

Great prices, clean place and Blanche makes this the best experience. She's always so friendly and helpful.

This place is too expensive. Also they never have enough carts. Half the time when I would go to pick up or deliver boxes I'd have to leave because there were no carts anywhere.

Giving this place an absolute 5 stars! If more stars were available I would add. I visited Public Storage in somewhat of a bad spot as just separated. Wasn't feeling chatty and wanted to get everything taken care of quickly. This lovely lady Blanche who took care of me made me laugh and smile! She was so kind, helpful and understanding my situation. I actually talked to her on the phone today with some questions. As usual, lovely, spunky and super personable. HIGHLY recommend! :)

I edited my last review. I took issue with rate increases every few months. After leaving the review I was contacted by a PS representative that had read my review. She expressed that they would rather work with me since having paid on time and being there for a long time then take a chance on losing a good customer and getting a bad one. Long story short they reduced the increase and met me in the middle with a guarantee of no rate increase for at least 6 months. Thank you for reaching out.

I'm giving a 5 star rating because of the great service afforded us by your representative Blanche, She has been most helpful, friendly and a pleasure to know and do business with. The facility is easy to access, is sparkling clean and is serving me well. Our mover is at this facility a couple of times a month and is extremely satisfied with the layout and ease of access.

I rented storage locker for almost 2 years. They keep my belongings safe and dry. Great new tech being used to open gates and access elevator right from your using the Public Storage App. Carmen in the office is good loyal employee.

Blanche was such a sweetheart and really went above and beyond to help us find the perfect unit for our needs. By renting online we saved some money and it was super easy. Love that i can use my app to open the gates and elevators.

I had an extremely positive and hassle free experience at this location. Blanche is just terrific!! I was looking for a large unit to store a trailer, but none were immediately available. Blanche took control of the situation and let me know the moment my unit opened up. She even let me back my trailer in and test the unit. This is a level of customer service that is unheard of... Beyond that Blanche was engaging, funny, and considerate. I highly recommend Public Storage for as long as she is with the company.

This property is very clean and the customer service is top-notched! Blanche, was very kind and helpful in establishing just the right storage for our needs. She even was awesome to our four-legged family 🐕 along with special treats!

I did all my storage rental online ( super easy to do) and when I arrived at my unit I realized I misjudged the space I needed and that my unit was too small. Elmer, the person working on location that day, was outside walking the property checking all the units ( super impressive knowing my belongings were going to be checked on because I missed that part in the paperwork) and stopped to help me immediately. We went right to the office and upgraded to the space I needed in no time. Definitely a place I would recommend for storage needs. Units are a great size for a good price and customer service is excellent.

The initial account setup was extremely long and the gentleman seemed very unfamiliar with everything. After that, I'm satisfied with quality of the unit and access. More carts around would be helpful.

Blanche is a great representative of Public Storage. She is very professional and displays excellent customer service skills. The inside climate control area is clean as is the unit I'm renting. The outside area could use a pressure cleaning. A lot of mildew and stains on outside of buildings and doors.

Storage facility is clean and well maintained Blanche deserves a raise or a bonus!! - I do wish prices were better and not forced to buy a lock (as I have a perfectly good lock already) other than that. Top notch and Insurance was optional or able to use my USAA insurance instead.

Clean, quiet good location, fair pricing. We recently downsized our unit and it was a seamless experience. Blanche is an excellent property manager and is so helpful. Not only do we have a storage unit but have been shareholder's and will buy back into PSA in the future.

We have just closed out our account with Public Storage following an exceptional experience for several years with Blanche. It was sad to stop by the office for the last time on Monday - but we no longer needed the extra storage space. Was impressed by the help and service provided by Connoll. When I experienced using my property access code, Connoll quickly responded with a resolution. Also, unlike other local storage companies they are open for business on Sunday.

My daughter was trying to rent a storage unit at another location and had reserved one, but the storage place rented it out from under her. She was referred to this Public Storage location and Blanche was most wonderful to work with. She was extremely pleasant and we could tell she takes pride in the facility and its upkeep along with trying to help her customers in any way she can.

Looked at three different companies to store our personal belongings at. Tree, the manager on duty we met at this facility won us over. What a nice and professional person. Tree showed us our prospective unit and answered every question we had. Public Storage is really lucky to have an employee like Tree on their staff.

If you are looking for a place to store your valuables, this is the location to go. When you go speak with Bettye she is very polite and knowledgeable of the services and products of Public Storage. She will take as much time with you as needed until you find the service that will fit your need. Bettye gets an A+ in my book for customer service.

Yasmin is the representative who helped us when we arrived in Florida from Virginia. my niece was moving to Dallas and could not take all her furniture which part belonged to my mom and was given to my sister who lost her battle to cancer.so of course i wanted to come to Florida to get it. i called and talked to Yasmin and told her who i was and that we needed to see inside the unit to know what size trailor to rent to pull behind our van. so when we got there she greeted us with smiles. she immediately said follow me and i will take you to the unit since she listened to me and knew we were not there when it was rented or things put in it. she even showed us the best place to pull in and park to make it easier for us. she really went out of her way to help us and we appreciated it. she was not there the next day for us to load but i definitely told the lady working the desk what a great employee Yasmin is.

I rented a unit for six months and it was a terrific experience. The customer service was top notch. Blanche was very attentive, thorough, and kind. She went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied. I can't say enough about it! Highly recommend this place.

The place is immaculate, Blanche explained everything regarding the unit, the charges and the safety of this location is great. Blanche showed me a few units, help me design a plan to store. I highly recommend this place.

I completely intended on leaving a good review because Blanche is so nice, but I can’t. When I reserved my unit I was told they would be there until 630 when I showed up at 6 I was met with resistance because it was so close to time to close - that the central office shouldn’t have scheduled it that late. Customer service from there was fine so no big deal. Now on Saturday I drove 2.5 hours to pay my bill in person and was told that I would have to wait while another person was shown a unit. I did not have time and confirmed that I could pay online. When I went to pay online I got 3 error messages. They were closed Sunday so I called Monday and was met with a late fee. So even though I showed up in person AND tried to pay online I am paying a late fee. I will MOST CERTAINLY be moving my things to a different facility.

We recently rented a storage unit in this location. Natasha was very efficient and explained the process clearly. She was very friendly and made sure we had all the information we'd need. I'd definitely recommend this location and Natasha. August 2018. We switched units to an air-conditioned one. Blanche was able to do this with minimum effort and we now have the unit that best suits our needs.

Working with Blanche for all of our storage needs is a pleasure. She is always polite, personable and ready to help. Her expertise is beyond measure.

My experience was amazing. We found the unit online, so we got a discount. Blanche was extremely helpful, and informative. A wonderful welcome to Florida after driving for so long. She showed us a clean unit next to nice quiet neighbors. (It was a cemetery) It was easy and quick to get through the paperwork and get started using it. Would recommend this location to others.

Just wish rates did not go up every year! Would be nice to give "long time renters" a break once in awhile. Facility is convenient and clean. Well managed.

I have had a storage unit with Public Storage for three years at this location and since day 1, Blanche has been the sweetest person. For a period of two years moving around Orlando and not seeing here, I returned today for my last trip to get my items from storage and when I was done loading up the truck; I went into the office and Blanche greeted me by name. I hadn't seen her at minimum in two years but if Forbes was rating this interaction, they would have given her their fullest award. Every step of the way, Blanche has assisted and helped me with any issues I may have had and she saw I was drinking a bottle of water and it appeared to not be cold. She offered me a cold bottle of water while I was still pretty thirsty from the heat and it saved me a trip to the convent store which saved me time which I find my most valuable asset. If you are considering this location, please take it. Blanche has been here and unlike other organizations that change management personnel all the time, I've been accustomed to seeing and talking to the same person every interaction for 3+ years and she knows your issues and has solutions and options for them.

I have been with Public Storage for years during that time the Manager on site was Blanche (Property number # 08705), who was very helpful and professional, when ever I needed help about the area she was very patient and explained everything while she answered all of our questions which was fantastic. After speaking with her I would get a followed up with a phone called. I’m so glad to have found such a place that care so much about their customer needs on the property, which was Very clean and I have never had trouble finding parking or having access to a cart for moving things into the unit. I give the Hunt Club Location 5 Stars.

When I initially got a rental unit 2 yrs ago Blanche was extremely helpful in explaining everything. When I first stopped by Public Storage there was nothing available and I was told to check on line as there were usually units coming available at the end of the month. Before I could check, Blanche from the Hunt Club location in Longwood called me to let me know there was something I might be interested in. I found the right property for us and then when I came in to sign paperwork the next day, Kia was wonderful and very helpful.

Blanche is amazing! I rent from this location for its convenience to our neighborhood. I have been renting over the years and it amazes me that Blanche still remembers me by name. That is one caring employee to remember renters by name or unit number. If I need a unit again in the future, I will rent from this location because of Blanche(not PS pricing). Public Storage is so lucky to have such a phenomenal employee.

Watch out for the accounting skills here! Blanche double-charged me, swiping my credit card and claiming it did not go through and I needed to pay again in cash.

I leased a storage unit this week to accommodate miscellaneous items from the house. I started the process online and completed the unit rental in-person with Yvonne at the Office. Yvonne is knowledgeable, customer-friendly, and expedient setting me up and ready to move in.

Ms. Blanche constant phone calls to remind me of my rent is priceless. If it wasn't for those calls I would have lost my unit by now. I'm thankful for the monthly calls.

Incredible customer service from Blanche. Facility is clean, no scary people, no trash or litter noted. We received personable yet professional treatment from Blanche when we had to switch units mid-move. We ended up in a smaller than anticipated apartment which resulted in needing a larger storage unit. Blanche bent over backwards to accommodate our storage needs even though the facility was near capacity. What a pleasure to deal with someone who’s both friendly and knowledgable.

I intended to be in for 8 months, stayed for 15, and appreciated every moment of it. Blanche is very attentive, courteous, and helpful. I was one of those that am always overloaded, and she ensured I didn't miss a beat. Above and beyond what should be expected, and she was always so polite about it.

I moved to the area 14 years ago and almost immediately needed a storage unit. I have had multiple units over the years and spent more money there than I even want to think about. HOWEVER, if you are going to have long term relationships with a business, you want them to be like this one. I think since the beginning, Blanche has been there. She runs a tight ship but is ALWAYS friendly and as helpful as anyone could hope for. The property is always clean and orderly and I have never seen one thing in disrepair. Now I am moving again and this time it's out of state so I have been buying boxes and packing materials like crazy. As always, Blanche is there to help and give a few kind words. We have had a storage room at this Public Storage almost since it opened. Blanche and Peggy are great - they always greet you with a smile. I also appreciated the "heads up" phone calls when the monthly payment is due. The facility is always clean and in good repair. I highly recommend it!!

I had found then on the Internet and made a reservation on the website. They promptly called me back the next day to confirm my order for a unit. The woman I talked to on the phone was very friendly and informative. I was moving from Clearwater so I was not able to come into the business until the day of the move. They worked with me and kept contact with me on the phone the entire move day to make sure everything was running smoothly. When I arrived she was extremely friendly, and surprised me with a better price for the unit I am renting. From working in the customer service industry I have a critical eye on how other businesses treat their customers. The people at this Public Storage facility are top notch on their customer service skills. The unit was the exact size I needed and overall I am very pleased with my experience so far.

Our experience with this Public Storage location has been the best. Blanche and Peggy are always so helpful and polite. The grounds are well kept up and around all the units are nice and clean. We would recommend this Public Storage location to anyone wanting a top notch place to store their items and of course, a very friendly staff. We have never had a problem with vandalism or break-ins.

Peggy helped me with my first time leasing public storage. She was helpful and patient. Great customer service.

Blanch who manages this location does a wonderful job. The few issues I've had have been address promptly. I like that as a eight year customer that I'm a face not a unit number.

I have had a Public Storage unit for more than a year at the Hunt Club site. The person I deal with most often is Blanche. She is a valuable asset to your company. Blanche is always upbeat and friendly as well as knowledgeable and competent. I have appreciated her extra effort to have me pay on time by calling and reminding me when I've forgotten. Additionally, Blanche patiently walked me through the computer site for paying online. I have appreciated all of her assistance and look forward to seeing her. You have quite a gem there.

I am not the type to give reviews, but, the day I walked into this facility, I was at my wits end, I was greeted and comforted by Blanche, believe me tissues and all. I literally had hours to arrange for transportation and storage of my belongings. I was a mess. There was no thought when I entered, I was just driving by and stopped in. The professionalism and assistance was surely what I was praying for. I believe God puts angels in our paths at our lowest moments. Blanche was surely my angel. She was so patient and compassionate. blanch is wonderful! its great seeing that not all businesses have done away with great customer service. she is always polite and goes out of her way to help in any way possible. the property its self is nice and clean. it seems to be very secure and I do not worry about my belongings while they are stored there. great facility with wonderful personnel.

I have been shopping around for a place to store my motorcycle and this location is a little farther than I wanted but after meeting Blanche and seeing how clean everything was I will with out a doubt be using your store. Blanche was a huge help in making up my mind and she gave me peace of mind that my bike will be safe and secure. Thank you Blanche for all your help.

Working with Blanche is always an excellent experience. She's professional, attentive, helpful, kind, and especially knows her stuff. She always greets you with a smile and makes our storage experience stress-free and pleasurable. Property and storage areas are always clean. She deserves a raise for sure! Blanche is not responsible for the pricing, which is the only item I'm a little disappointed at Corporate for. Would love to see the rent stop increasing and offer more discounts or deals to existing renters, at least periodically. Would love to move to the next size unit, but for 5 extra feet, the price jumps to almost double the cost of the existing unit I'm in. Other than that, you can't go wrong here! :)

I stopped in to get some moving supplies to pack up my house when I'm met Blanche. She was a complete pleasure to talk to. After talking with her she gave me several options as far as storage needs which I hadn't considered since I was moving, but she made me realize I had a flaw in my moving plans and I will be needing a small storage unit for several months until my matters are finalized. This company would get NO stars from me, if it didn't have two great employees at the Hunt Club Drive location. Blanche and Peggy are very kind and considerate people that always answer the phones with smiles in their voices and greet me like an old friend. Each time I visited during the 4 years I stored items with them, I was amazed at their attention to details and customer service. On a corporate level I am completely disgusted. To OVERCHARGE and hike prices on disabled senior citizens with fixed incomes that ALWAYS pay on time or before their rent is due should be illegal. It sickens me that this company's business standard is to take advantage of older physically challenged individuals. My mother is deaf and can barely walk. Over the 4 year period of renting at Public Storage I had to endure hours of phone calls to their corporate offices/call centers in attempts to plead with them to do the right thing by my mother. Shame on you!

Kudos to Blanche. I have never had such a stress-free experience moving in and out of storage as I have had with this facility. She is knowledgeable about all of the policies, helpful in recommending necessary moving and packing supplies, provides timely information re: billing periods and costs, etc. She even provides that friendly reminder to help avoid unnecessary late fees. If anyone needs to use a public storage facility, I strongly recommend Public Storage and moreover, the Hunt Club facility!
