What gave this a 5 ***** was the manager, Coleman. He is professional, friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable. The units here are like every other inside climate controlled storage building. Their prices are high, IMO, but so are everyone else’s in the area. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any consistency - up and up every month it seems. If you need a unit and live near San Pablo - this will work.

Trina is awesome! It is the cleanest storage facility I have seen. I was in there for two days loading furniture, I saw always helping people and being friendly. Also, the bathrooms were very clean as well. I would certainly recommend this facility.

Currently scoping out local convenient storage units. Thought it would be helpful to actually visit a few prior to securing one. Important features such as manuevering a trailer in/out of facility, access hours, security, cleanliness and to view different units in person verses renting strictly off size to ensure I secure one with adequate space. I haven't secured a unit yet but needed to take the time to comment on the Manager, Ms. Trena. I am horrible at remembering names but I will not forget hers because she made that big of an impression on me. She was professional, friendly, helpful and kept me smiling from the moment I walked in to the time I left. The prices are competitive. This facility is very secure to where I will safe going by myself and it is super clean, I mean it's spotless. I am glad I took the time to visit different facilities. I will be securing a unit here and I am looking forward to seeing Ms. Trena again. Don't come across good customer service anymore so when I do I make sure I take the time to recognize them and Ms. Trena, well, Ms. Trena was top notch. I'm happy knowing she is a manager. Hopefully, she will train her staff to follow her lead!!

I would not recommend using this company. They increased rent by 25% without any notice. After talking to the local rep she said she was having to forward all calls to customer service because she did not know what to tell everyone calling about the increases. When I called customer service they said they had the right to increase rent without a cap. Would be nice to know in advance if your rent is going up by $100 a month so you can make arrangements to find another location or downsize etc. Very unprofessional and will never do business with this company again. Too bad they bought out Cube Smart.

Having been a customer of this location now for over a year since they opened the doors - extremely satisfied with the service and cleanliness of the location. The staff is excellent and always addresses by name and remembers name and unit of mine. The units, elevators and hallways are always clean and tidy which is great to prevent pest problems for the entire complex. The location of this CubeSmart is great for anyone at the beach or just off the beaches at the Northeast corner of San Pablo and Beach Blvd across the stree from the Starbucks next to the BBVA bank branch directly on corner. Easy to enter using two driveways and of course during weekends during the day time it can be busy early morning but suggest later in the day or during the week for no issues. Pretty typical at all self storage places. Highly recommended

Getting a storage unit was easily done online/phone, no contact. A few hours later, we showed up with a car load. Accessibility was easy, no problem with access codes. Hallways were easy to navigate, which enabled us to get in and out quickly. I like it when things work like you have been told.

When foreseen circumstances dictated that I move after only being there a month, they both helped me get out as smoothly as possible and ensured that I would get my refund (I had paid for a year in advance).

This place is luxury storage at a reasonable rate. I got my first month free and always had great service. If you stop in, ask for Rosa. She is so sweet and extremely helpful. My unit was on the first floor and was very secure, with two code entry doors before even reaching my unit! They provide carts for easy moving and have late office hours and great access hours.

It's a bait and switch. They quote you a price to move your stuff in and quickly jack up the price after your in. Example: I was quoted $130 per mo initially for my unit then after 2mo it went up to $150 per mo., 4 weeks later it increased to $170 per mo. Be aware!!

Was blindsided by renters insurance and purchasing a lock, upon arrival. Not a huge deal, but when I was shopping online, other companies listed their fees on an itemized sheet. Cubesmart did not and now I know why. The staff was more than helpful, no complaints there. I got a 5x7 and requires $12 a month renters insurance for clothing. That $12 a month only covers $1000 to boot! Thankfully there will not be $1000 worth of clothes in there, in case I need to exercise my insurance policy. Haha. Transparency goes a long way, cubesmart...

Lakeisha Reed went far beyond the normal expectation of a great person to help me on my move in, she stayed over normal closing time on a Sunday afternoon by more than a half an hour to allow me to finish my move. She did everything to make my move happen smoothly from doing paperwork to the day I finished moving in. Lakeisha is sooo friendly and professional in person and on the telephone. CubeSmart is extremely lucky to have her as their front office manager. This is the only self storage location to use in Jacksonville. Ample parking. 5 stars and two thumbs up!!!. AAA+++

Jose is the best professional I have encountered in the storage and moving industry and one of the best in customer relations. Lakeisha is also equally sharp, professional, and a natural leader. Her customer service skills are impeccable. I have worked with over 1,000 vendors and I don't know how they get these amazing people. I would refer Jose and Lakeisha to anyone!
