Just started renting here I am paying $88 a month for the smallest storage they are over pricing, I don't care how expensive the world is right now but on a storage Is mind blowing!. And I had to pay $117 when I first signed up. They are advertising $1 on your first month. LIARS!

It's ok in a crunch like I was. The pathways are narrow, not really big truck friendly. Bugs and moisture, but I got a unit on the end by the strip of trees so.

We just began the process of renting a storage unit here. The gentleman who helped us was very pleasant and helpful. So far, we have no issues.

I haven’t been to my unit in quite a while ( 3 months) and when I got there it was covered with spider webs and dirt. I cleaned door as best as I could with a broom. I noticed my lock looks like someone was trying to break into unit!! The road is riddled with pot holes and the fence around the property is in disrepair, You can easily slip under the fence and access the property,I will be leaving there ASAP . I was even approached by a couple who asked if I had any money or cigarettes!!The new management doesn’t care what happens around here.

The property is very clean and the managers are very friendly. When I went to ask questions about the units and the location the manager Arie explained she hasn't been in Florida long but she loves the area and everything was easy to get too. I mentioned to her that the property was super clean. She smiled and informed me that she owed it to her help for the day, the other manager there named Dale. Dale and Arie are great at what they do. I ended up doing the online rental process and i highly recommend it.

The woman working there was driving around in a white minivan crashing into things & arguing with myself & other customers, totally crazy.

One of my favorite storage facility..

The district manager of this location is very rude and unprofessional. We got 53 days behind after renting our unit for almost a year. He would not work with us or give opportunity to vacate. We had a 3/2 home with all of our personal belongings in this unit. We were only asking for a week to get caught up. They sold unit for $5.00! Who does that? This is not the first storage company we rented from. I hope karma gets this district manager.

I dealt with Amber and Jay on the first day of my rental oct 11 which went well and advised them both I would need the rental space until November 15 because that was my move in date to my apartment and I was promised by Jay to come in before the 10th of November so he could give me a prorated discount instead of the full amount since I only needed the storage three days after my full month only if I gave them 5 stars on the google review (which I initially did until I came in later and they retracted their promise) Today is the 9 of November and I came in and only amber was there with another employee(woman)and when I reminded her of what was said she acted clueless and didn’t even try to keep her end of the bargain. I ended up having to pay the full amount after I was promised they would give me a break. The other employee lady stepped in as if I was lying and said I had to pay that amount. I guess the deal was supposed to be between us and was told by customer service that they didn’t do deals like that but if I had known that I would have taken my things somewhere else. I didn’t mind paying the full amount but don’t promise people one thing when I had the date it was said and a business card proving what was said...the storage was nice but I will not be going back simply because of amber and jay not keeping their word! JACOBI, JACOBI, JACOBI...WOW! what a great experience I had at the Public Storage on University and Ft. Caroline. I have been using storage facilities for over ten years and I have used almost all of the competitors. This is most definitely the best expierence I have had in the past decade of using storage facilities. Not only is the storage facility itself in a convenient and safe area, there is extra security that includes cameras and motion senors but the customer service that was given to me by JACOBI was superb, fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. I believe he was the manager or atleast he handle himself as well as someone in that position but I must give my kudos to him for the exceptional customer service he provided! JACOBI was definitely the cherry on top of the Public Storage facility on University and Ft. Caroline and because of him he has secured a loyal customer!

Me and my uncle came to this location. To get a storage unit Mrs. Janice and Mrs. Nakeisha was so helpful and very kind and nice. And best of all they have brick walls inside the storage unit. Public Storage on Fort Caroline is the best . Outstanding Customer Service to them both.

I called to ask questions on the specials for the first month, but I ended up with a reservation without the online discount. Since it was reserved, Janice called me to confirm the size and could not hold the unit for 7 days. Moving forward, Janice showed me the unit, it was perfect. She had a lot of changing things on the reservation that the call center messed up on. Janice worked and worked on the problem and was very nice and helpful, and the whole time she had a friendly, humorous attitude. Her customer service skills are at 110%! I would recommend Janice and this storage facility hands down..

Since new manager (Israel Lopez ) took over operation,that place runs smoothly,the maintenance guy is super educated and helpful the office girls well educated and polatite ,yet,owner is an uneducated, spoiled prick. He treats people in general like inferior beings.

DO NOT GET A UNIT HERE. BEWARE. Since purchasing a 10x10 that was supposed to be $80 a month rent has went up twice due to ‘Season’ and now it is $140 a month. FOR ONE UNIT. There is no way to contact customer service and discuss. The office tells you to call corporate for everything. Ridiculous.

My husband and I were planning to rent a storage unit to store some of our stuff while we move. The Public Storage website advertises $1 rent for the first month, great... Only when you call there's a $24 application fee. Okay, still not bad, $25 for a month of storage. We went to tour the unit, and the manager mentioned absolutely nothing about additional fees, and we could start the month-to-month lease at any time before 2/15. We loaded up our car the next day ready to sign up, but the customer service person said they couldn't rent us the storage unit for $25 and there was an extra $59 fee each month for the lock since they "upgraded" to new locks due to people coming in and cutting locks to break into storage units. This makes me feel oh so safe, but don't worry, they require you to buy their personal property protection insurance (which covers property damage, not theft) if you want to rent the unit. We already have an umbrella policy through our insurance company, and didn't need their insurance, too. Basically, the fees kept adding up, and on top of all the added fees, they said it was a good thing you came before your expected move in date because the lady said she doesn't actually honor reservations or any of the prices quoted over the phone (according to her, the phone sales reps in California don't know anything about how it is in Florida, and she's trying to earn some money). Basically, it was horrible service, so we ended up going to Extra Space Storage. FYI - We had much better customer service at Extra Space Storage they only charge $25 for the first month, and you can bring your own lock. Extra Space Storage does offer personal property insurance for an additional fee, but it's not required. Also, the security is much better at Extra Space Storage (access codes to drive into the storage area and elevator access). Extra Space Storage is also much better lit at night.

Rent for $1... plus administrative fee, plus lock rental--no, of course you can't use your own lock! Reservation? What reservation?

The clerk lady was so nice and paitent with me and sometimes that makes all the difference. My belongings were no damaged by the hurricane season, that was a main concerned.

Went this morning in the middle of the rain with my car full and ready to put everything away after driving 17 hours into my new home out here and Janice made me feel so welcome her professionalism is very outstanding and so welcoming I'm glad i choose this place out of any other. My first time renting a storage unit and it was a very pleasant experience!! After making an online reservation on the day before, I received a welcoming phone call to confirm. I arrived later than our scheduled meeting time and the ladies were understanding and immediately walked me to my unit and explained the renting process. Ms. Janice was very inviting and thorough, as was Ms. Carline, the property manager. I am very please with the service and the upkeep of the units. I look forward to working with them and would refer anyone to this storage facility!

Staff leaves office a lot, and the electric gate got stuck once, trapping people both in and out. Unless my dad and uncle had been there to figure out how to open it, staff was going to have us wait until a maintenance guy got here "sometime today". Not sure if there's any cameras for security but it is fenced in. Pretty expensive unless you get a deal and only need it for a very short time.
