I have been a long time customer and I have to say Teresa takes the cake when it comes to customer service. She is always looking out for the best interest of the customer and has alerted me several times to my unit not being locked properly (my mistake!) or maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Really cannot say enough for how much she has the customer's best interest at heart.

Teresa provides the best customer service period! I currently have two units at this location and was looking for a third but with two garage doors. At the time I came in there were non available. I visited two other locations and the same situation. She recently contacted me and told me there was one that just came available. The process was easy and love doing business at this location. Look forward to continuing to do business with this location & Teresa!

Moving is already stressful enough. Teresa whom helped me move into the public storage followed my guys as they were putting boxes and etc into the storage unit. About 2 hours later Teresa called me. Teresa stated that your guys left the box spring. I told her I doubt that very seriously. This is a reputable moving company. She then proceeded to tell me I had 24 hours to move the box spring or I would be charged. I told her I would come by immediately. I contacted the moving company they informed me that they put everything into the storage unit. I went by the storage unit to find the box spring that Teresa said that my guys left on the side of the building. While I’m driving around- Teresa rode next to me in the golf cart. Teresa stated, oh it’s not here. It was on the side. As much as I wanted to say something rude. I left. This is not okay. Teresa if you’re reading this. Next time before you have someone waste their time. Please review the video. People remember how things made them feel. Please do better. I know we’re in Lake Mary but this is not okay.

When I went there April helped me it was a super fast super easy experience and one of the politest people I've met all week thought I would have to spend $100 a month on a 5x5 turned out to be less than $40

Once I got moved in, all was good. No issues accessing and leaving and checking out. Most staff very friendly. Security seemed good too. HOWEVER, the start was very bad. I was lied to repeatedly about fees from the person on duty. She told me 3x that we covered ALL fees yet when I finished the check in online, it added a $24 admin fee. I went back and reminded her that she never mentioned that. She said there's nothing anyone would do. The manager agreed. Also said fees would run monthly, so my check in on the 16th would repeat 16th of each month as I'd planned. Another lie. I was very angry.

Great storage facility. Good size storage units. They have both climate controlled and non climate controlled units. Used to have reasonable rates but now prices have gone up. Easy to access units that open to the outside

So I’ve been to this property a few times now since we started renting a couple units here. I have been to several public storage facilities and although I can’t complain about any of them I would have to say that Theresa at the lake Mary blvrd location goes out of her way to make sure you have what you need to make things easier unloading and loading your car from your storage unit. She’s got a good sense of humor and will make you laugh. I’ve seen her doing everything from mopping up messes to cleaning up trash to trimming bushes out front to working behind the desk. I owned businesses myself and I know how important it is to have these type of employees working for you

Thee worst place to do business. Hired a moving company to move my things from storage and the key did not work. This is the lock and key they made me use. Asked for assistance and zero help, told me to call a locksmith, they could not do anything because the District Manager was off.

This facility has always done a good job for me. They keep it clean and I feel like my belongings are safe. Jennifer, in the office is extremely helpful and pleasant. She has been there several years and is extremely knowledgeable . I recently had to close out because I was moving the equipment stored there to another city. But if I need a storage facility in Lake Mary this is definitely where I will go.

Jennifer was super helpful. My unit accidentally was rented before I got there and she made it right. Updated 5/24/2020 - seriously don’t waste your time. We have had more issues with no one EVER being in the office or answering their phones. This means we cannot get a cart to save our lives 90% of the time. Seriously horrible customer service. We are cleaning our unit out and being done with them.

Disinterested, no customer service, thankfully have MUCH. better options in Lake Mary with helpful friendly employees that work with you.. The Lake Mary, Florida storage is a rip off. I had a unit 2 x's as 10x10 and climate controlled for 1/2 as much in Apopka. And one of the managers, locked herself out, and popped the lock with an umbrella, through the mail slot. Real professional.

I have had the opportunity to rent quite a few storage units in my lifetime and even more frequently since Hurricane Irma. The only time I take the time to post a review is when my experience has been extremely positive or extremely negative. I am so pleased with the level of courtesy, efficiency, and professionalism I have received by Jennifer at the Lake Mary Public Storage (conveniently located on Lake Mary Blvd) that I had to stop what I was doing to give her a 5 Star rating. If there were more than 5 stars I would give them! I have one less thing to worry about knowing my things are safe and sound and under the watchful and professional eye of Jennifer. I only hope that Public Storage recognizes your value as an asset to their organization. Give this girl a raise. Please note that I have never met or have had any interaction with Jennifer besides this recent one. I do not have any association with Public Storage. I do however like to recognize outstanding customer service when I recieve it

Jennifer had a lot of patience with me today and explained everything thoroughly to enable me to choose the best storage and size for my situation. Very good customer service. I feel confident in saying I chose the right place. This had to be edited as the situation has dramatically changed. First, let me add that the review above was after day 1. I guess the customer service is only good before sign up. I'm going to try to write this review more objectively. First, I put my stuff in the storage because I had to live in my car for two months.(my problem). Last week my key broke inside the lock and I was unable to get to my unit. I let the girl at the front desk know. I wanted to get my suit from the storage unit because I had an interview and I needed a suit. It's hard for veterans to get jobs these days so first impressions are everything. Well, the lady at the front desk said I had options. I can wait for management to break the lock. (more on that later) or I could call a locksmith to have it done. She stated that the lock I had could not be cut with cutters. I told her I will just wait for management. She stated that she didn't know when she would come. So I decided to go to Goodwill and buy a suit, shirt and tie for my interview on monday. That same evening I got approved to move into my apartment on...wait for it...Monday. I was thinking it was perfect timing as I was sure I would be able to receive my items on monday. After my interview I received the keys to my place. I did not get the job but that's ok. I immediately went to the storage unit at 2pm. the lady at the front desk contacted I believe her name is Ashley Wilson. She got a reply stating that she would be here at 4pm. I decided to leave and come back at 4. Obviously, I was busy getting my apartment set up. I came back at 4 and waited....and waited...and waited... all the way until 6pm. She still had not shown. I was upset. Around 5pm I'm trying to solve the problem. I'm asking what tools do I need so that I may cut it myself as I was told regular lock cutters did not work. She did not know. Not only that but she told me the ONLY person allowed to cut the lock other than the owner of the unit was Ashley. I'm thinking to myself that you have at least 5 storage units in the same district and NOBODY knows how to get the lock cut. She stated that this was a service to me. I get that but don't tell me you are going to be there at 4 and no show. Now I've wasted a lot of time. I called the locksmith and he said it would be 100 dollars. That's after I've waited for him to get there which he didn't know how soon. I'm wondering why there is ONLY one person able to cut it. At this point I'm wanting the police to come because all of my items are literally in the storage unit. I was fed up at 6pm and was telling the lady that cops will probably need to be here tomorrow if i have to come and the lock STILL is not cut. This is horrible customer service. It was already bad that the lady didn't know what was going on and stated that she was new. I'm thinking that even new people should be able to call a different Public Storage to find a solution to the problem. She stated that everyone was not answering and they were probably in a meeting. So let me get this straight. Everyone from all 4 or 5 locations are probably in a meeting at 5pm? The Lady at the front desk was patient with me but she obviously was new. After I knocked down a display unit I left and called the VA crisis hotline which is why I am writing this review and not hunting down the person responsible for this. This is horrible customer service and business management. Why not have the tools on hand and just charge people a premium to get the locks off? I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who has had this problem. Also I know that if someone doesn't pay they will get the locks cut off. I'm not understanding why this horrible business practice cannot be changed for the betterment of the company AND for the customers. Customers don't care to pay something a little extra that is a quick fix.Horrible

My fiancé and I reserved a unit first thing this morning and even talked to the staff working today to confirm our reservation. They asked what time we would be by and said we were all good to go. Upon arrival at the time we said we would be there, we found out that they sold our reserved unit to someone else. Apparently it’s a “first come first serve basis”. Even though we had a reservation! I’m quite unsure of what the point of the reservation is for. If this is the case they should have this disclosed when you make the reservation or not even show the unit as available. Rather than waiting till you have your vehicle packed and planned your day around moving everything into your storage unit. They had our phone number and didn’t even bother to call us and give us the heads up. I do not recommend anyone using their facility unless you want to be screwed over.

Went there this weekend looking for a small storage unit. The staff was very helpful. Danielle took me to several units until I found the perfect one. I was on my way to work and pressed for time. She got me out of there quickly but didn't rush me out. Explained everything in detail and I was very satisfied. You can't beat the climate controlled facility in the Florida heat. Would definitely recommend this place.

This location is by far the worst in customer service. By that I mean, there is never anyone in the office to actually perform a service for any customer. Of my many visits in the last year, I have NEVER had any one attending the office to help with forgotten codes or what have you. And currently, my last 3 attempts to find an employee to close my account have failed. If I am charged an additional month- we will have issues.

I parked my car in front of the office to get a key to unlock the carts. I find that they are closed probably for lunch and would not return for another 20 minutes. So I proceeded to drive my car to the gate where I would have to type in a code for the giant gate to allow my car through. However the gate was stuck in the open position. There is a security breach. Anybody could just drive into the storage buildings there. I drive my car all the way down to the entrance of an indoor climate-controlled building. This sliding door requires you to type in a code before it will open for you. The door is stuck in the wide-open position. Security breach and climate control breach. Any person or animal can just walk in to everybody's storage units. Security is as good as the lock the customer chooses to use. Those are usually easily defeated with a bolt cutter. Since all three carts are independently padlocked with chains, I had to make many trips to and from my car and my storage room. I go back to the office at the time the sign said she would be back from lunch. This time I took the long walk inside the long building to the office. I had to first leave the indoor storage building to walk outside, and then up to the office. The door closes and locks behind me. My only way back is to walk through the gate outside, and walk all the way back. The office is still locked and I am forced to wait another 10 minutes in 95-degree humid outdoors. Three more customers join me in waiting. I tell them how bad the service, security, conditions, attitude, and price is at Public Storage, and how much superior Life Storage in Longwood is. The attendant returned without any apology and we walked into the air-conditioned office. She looked at me and asked "rest room key?" I mentioned no and that I needed the key to unlock the carts. I also showed her the sign out sheet that showed my name from two days ago to get the key the last time. She said don't worry about that and gave me the key. I finally come back, dripping with perspiration, unlock a cart, and reopen my 10' x 5' room. It costs me $99 per month. I was there to transfer my items to Lifestorage at Longwood. A 5-foot by 10-foot room is $75 / month there. After a while of loading boxes onto my finally acquired cart, the lights go out without any warning or reason. They are not on a timer. I walk over to the three switches at different nearby locations. They have all been changed to motion detectors. A while later the lights go back on by themselves. It is always hard to breathe in there since there never seems to be any air circulation and they do not regulate the humidity. A customer called out to me and asked if I had a key for the other carts. They said they made a special trip to the office, only to be told there is only one key for all three cart locks. I walk back down to unlock a cart for them. They agree that the facility is badly managed and in bad condition. However they just purchased a home and would not need storage anymore. I helped the customer finish loading our cars, and proceed to drive back over to the gate which is now closed and locked. Fortunately he entered the code to open the gate and I just followed right behind him. I reparked in front of the office, got out, and walked back into the office. As usual, the girl in the office was hidden in the corner with her head resting on the desk behind the counter. I left the key for her for when she is finished with her nap.

First off I would like to say that this location is extremely accommodating. I called Kim on a Saturday and let her know that I was on the way. She told me she leaves at 4:30 PM. Meanwhile my GPS is telling me I'm going to get there at 4:45 PM. Nervously I'm telling her that I will be there late and she said who cares I'll be here waiting for you! I'm sorry, but I've been in the moving and storage business my whole life and never has anyone, especially on a Saturday, said I'll wait for you. To my surprise she was there at 5 PM when I arrived. We went through the paperwork and I had a unit that day. If she would have left I would have had to stay the night around the storage location and get the unit in the morning. I really appreciate the understanding that Kim had and will never forget it. If you are looking for a storage in the Lake Mary area then Kim is who you want to deal with! Audrey was there as well and she was a big help getting the paperwork finished. A huge THANKS! to KIM and AUDREY
