Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 7480 S Military Trail, Lake Worth, FL

Sandrine, Stephane, & Jewels were absolutely amazing! I’ve been having issues at my current storage unit location from a different company. I went into the office of the Public Storage facility on South Military Trail in Boynton Beach, Florida. Sandrine was the first smiling face that I saw, and alongside her were Stephane and Jewels. I explained to them my situation at the storage facility I am currently renting a unit from, and all three ladies were quick to ease my frustration, tell me the current issues I’m dealing with would not be issues here, and make me feel like I’m making the right choice by switching companies. Every question that I asked was answered kindly, efficiently, with clarity, and reassurance. I soon found out that Jules just started working there, and she is a trainee. However, you wouldn’t have known it based on how she jumped right in to help answer questions and provide guidance. These three ladies went above and beyond to make sure that every question and concern I had was addressed. They encouraged my mom and I to ask as many questions as we needed, and those smiles never left their faces. I am looking forward to being a customer at this Public Storage location, knowing that Sandrine, Stephane, and Jewels will be there to help guide me through all questions, any problems, and just to give me a smile!

Victoria was great and easy to work with! Our first storage unit had insulation that was ripping and getting worse. We explained that we had a work order placed a few weeks ago, and nothing had happened. She happily got us a new storage unit and waived all the fees. We got an upgrade too, and since it was due to a faulty storage unit she kept the same price as our original storage unit. Thank you Victoria! She deserves a raise @management!

What kind of lock does public storage allow?

All Out Junk Removal has had a great experience at this Public Storage facility.

I highly recommend Public Storage on South Military Trail in Lake Worth, Fla. This two-year old facility is very clean (including the storage bins) and offers a variety of sizes for storage,. The bin I selected is in a three-story tall climate-controlled building with air-conditioning and elevator access (a 5 foot by 5 foot storage bin is seen in photo). There are plenty of flatbed carts to use so you won’t have to carry anything heavy and the elevators are large/industrial-size. The security is very impressive. You need a code to open the electronic gate to drive in and out of the secured area, as well as to enter the building and also to use the elevator. The customer service is wonderful and staff on site are very helpful, professional and friendly. Packing supplies and locks are available for purchase. The prices at this facility for storage are extremely competitive for this part of Florida! I give them the highest five star rating. AAA+++

HORRIBLE. I wouldn't rent here again if they paid me. It only two 3 months for them to RUIN ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS. We stored all of our house belongings after selling in this public storage (IN A "CLIMATE CONTROLLED" UNIT) and within a few months we got a call saying that they had mold issues. At which time we had to travel from NJ-FL to "check our belongings". Welp, they had to hire a "remediation" company to help "clean our belongings". Except per the remediation company, the best-case scenario was to throw away 80% of our items. They were horrible handling the matter. They weren't answering phone calls and the entire first floor had to discard of almost all of their stuff. Not to mention, when spending hours filing a claim with insurance (we had roughly $16k worth of things with proof of receipts, pricing, etc.), they offered us $5k. I can't stress this enough, IF YOU ARE WILLING TO RISK ALL OF YOUR BELONGINGS AT THIS FACILITY, DO NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT THEY PROVIDE UP FRONT ONLY COVERING $5K OF YOUR BELONGINGS. Because when they inevitably ruin all of your property, that's all they'll cough up. Shame on them. I can't stress enough, DO NOT RENT HERE. My wife also made a review that somehow "disappeared". I will be making a review here as many times as possible. It's absurd they can remove reviews with these warnings.

If I could give them -100 I would! The absolute worst. The storage on 7480 S Military Trail has mold and destroyed my stuff. Stay away! They had refused to wait until I make it back to FL to inspect my stuff. They want to throw away my stuff without my family or I being there. Do not do service with them.

The store manager is the worst Sandrine and she refused to give me the district manager when I first asked for it. She also gave misleading information. Her attitude since day one really stinks, and she likes to talk over you. To understand something you have to LISTEN!!!! Definitely needs customer service training.

This people are unprofessional and always trying to double charge accounts. Stay away from this place!

Bad customer service, very unprofessional customer support, I have been using the storage for over 3 years and while I'm trying to see if I can change from one unit to another, the way my mother in-law was treated was disgusting, moving to another location due to poor customer service. This happened today (same day as the review is being written).

i had a sudden need to clear some clutter out of my house and found Public Storage just 5 miles away. i didn’t need much room and didn’t want to spend much money. i booked online but the tiny closet was too small so the managerial associate Jess found the only available 5 x 5 closet which is perfect for my boxes that stack nicely. Jess made this emergency into a very positive experience. she knows her business and she shows she cares about people. all my questions were answered and the space really is perfect and competitively priced. thanks Jess for representing your business so well. i am very satisfied

What started out as a nightmare was quickly turned around by an amazing manager by the name of Maguesta who works at the facility located on (7480) S. Military Trail. Within minutes of booking a reservation, she contacted me by phone to encourage me to pay for the unit because they only had one left in the size I requested. I couldn't seem to finalize the sale online so I called her back and she was kind enough to hold it until I was able to get there. She was professional, friendly and solution driven and I'm grateful for her help. Her positive attitude saved the day!! Kudos to a great employee!!

If i could give them i negative 1 i would have, Somehow through the process of signing up for our storage unit the “system” was Thrown off aka incompetent workers and for six months straight all of our payments went to a different account, paying for someone elses unit. while Public Storage continue to call us and request a payment, you would think After being reached out to buy a district manager that they would fix the problem but I continues not only that the units were infested with ants the only thing this place cares about is collecting money. The front gate is always open, yet you pay for Security I would look else where ASAP!! Btw please dont give me some Bs response you guys cant throw dirt in this whole

This place is INFESTED with roaches. It is so disgusting. There are dead and ALIVE roaches everywhere. Walking from my unit to the elevator I saw at least 10-15 live roaches. I have never had a storage unit with roaches before until this one. I am moving my stuff ASAP.

Very bad customer service. Had an issue with my credit card being stolen and was immediately given a late charge of $31 when I called the person was not understanding.

So far , bad experience. I got there at 7 pm. My code was not recognized to enter the storage. customer service chat helped and fixed code. My space had a lock. No key. Customer service didn't help on that. No answer from manager. No consideration of my situation. Like I could wait until next day. Terrible!!

If you're looking for a fantastic place to store your stuff this is it their prices are beating everyone's and their staff is amazing I left my lock on my storage unit and they even called me back and made me aware that they do lock checks and that my key was safe and that I could pick it up on my next visit I only paid $54 for a 5 x 10 which is outstanding I was paying $112 at Alpine storage for the same size unit can you imagine that thank you so much lake Worth public storage

Gate is FREQUENTLY not working!!! And without anyone in office until later in a.m.you are stuck. You need to code in to leave, friend used this place and forget it. Was not happy. The "wide storage is actually 2 singles SEPARTED by a metal post so if you really need wide access, beware. Glad he did this so I didn't waste my $

Newer storage building, but doesn't seem to be cleaned or maintained to deserve more stars. On multiple visits, the inside corridors were littered with trash. Building security is non-existent, without a slap on the wrist. Lazy people selfishly hold/prop doors open allowing anyone to enter. I assume there are video cameras, but noone in the office ever says "No." When it works as designed, the Public Storage app is useful to gain access to select doors/gates. Most doors, however, do not automatically unlock when in close proximity to doors.

Victoria the manager i belive is the best always courtius and great to talk to. But the other one is nastey told me i had to wear a mask when i said i dont have one she said she had none. Then 2 mins later after stand off she gave me one to wear and threw it at me. I put it on then told me i had to wait for someone else. I walked out and she called me a cracker. Well i would love to start out by saying what a wonderful experience i had with this storage facility on Military Tr in Lake Worth !! Saran and her assistant made me feel at ease with my storage needs and also really just took the extra time and effort to make the overall experience absolutely wonderful!! And when i realized the unit i secured was just not big enough, they were right on top of it getting me into the next size up within minutes!! Their overall customer service was i feel too notch !! Keep up the great work Saran .....we need more people like you and your assistant in the workforce!!

On behalf of my elderly grandmother I would like to thank the young ladies that work this property. They have helped so much as we deal with the Covid 19 pandemic. They were able to aide in getting her late fees waived. I like how they were respectful and kept us updated.

I would like to thank the lady that helped me today. This young lady made sure that I had the right space. Jequera was very respectful. She made sure that I had what I needed. It was nice to get a follow up call from her. Glad she made sure my wife and I were happy with our rental.

I highly believe that most if not all the reviews on here were written either by the employee's or their friends... I admit the service is not the worst ever at this location, but it's not even close to the "fantasy island" as all this reviews suggest. This Public Storage location is VERY DARK at night. They definitely need to fix the light system because at night it's feels very unsafe.

I gave one point star ....but if I could give less i would , I say stay alway ...I mean it stay away, I rented a space with my husband for 3 months....finally we decided to take everything out and it was infested with big roaches and RAT droppings!!! Nasty !!!! threw away some things, that's how bad it was. I recommend to you think first before renting. You want to rent... you're on your own risk, you will see !! BEWARE !!!!

Great service! Victoria was fantastic from the first day to the last. She always answered the phone and was very informative. I stored my things here for only 6 months with no problems. I did notice that the rent goes up after the 6 month mark and was glad I checked my email otherwise I would have completely overlooked it. Still great place if you need to store things temporarily. 10 out of 10!

Walking into the office the lady’s was attractive I had a problem with my space and they jump right on it a got it thanking care they should have more workers like addeane and Victoria .

Let me start of by saying , I had one of the worst experiences with the Hypuluxo Public Storage 2 years back. I swore I was never coming back. Long story short, I paid my bill, then had an emergency with my daughter and at the time her formula and her inhaler were stored in our units. I had begged, pleaded to please let me retrieve those 2 items and no was the simple answer. Spoke with the managers and the regional manager at the time and I got nowhere. At this point my daughters health was in jeopardy and they had absolutely no remorse. I didn't understand why I had to wait to have my transaction cleared when I clearly had the funds, showed them babk statements and all but again no was the answer. I even told them they could keep all the stuff in my storage in exchange for those 2 items and I didn't even have to go in there I would tell them where it was. AND AGAIN NO WAS THE ANSWER. they had no heart! After this horrid experience I knew I wasn't coming back. Until recently when I needed to move again. My husband convinced me to just go to another one and try it once more. I'm so happy I did! The ladies were so helpful! And hilarious! Made our experience overall WORTHY of coming back. They are the the prime example of how customers should be treated and how to do your job correctly! They absolutely need a raise or promotion! If your ever in doubt of Public Storage come to this location only!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This place sucks! If I could give them a negative star I would. Their reviews are bogus. I have been renting here for over 5 years. It was convenient since I live in the neighborhood next door. Rent was good but each year they raise the rates at least 2 times and now we are paying well over 200% from what our initial fee was. I have a simple outdoor parking for my boat. Tonight I discovered the gate was not working and called the 888 number. That guy was less than helpful when I thought their national number could contact a company to repair the gate. This place has constant theft issues and they DONT have working cameras. Even if they did the lease agreement states they are not responsible for theft or damages to your property yet they advertise safe and secure. The neighborhood to the east directly behind here is super ghetto and constantly has police in the area. I live in a gated community and we even have theft and hoodlums robbing our vehicles and homes. The “manager on site” came home and wasn’t even concerned about the gate being wide open and just said I have to call the office in the morning. Terrible service, stay away!!! I’ll be moving even if I pay more.

Victoria was very informative, efficient and made my experience extremely pleasant. The storage unit looks clean and is under air.

Victoria is awesome and good at her job

This place is awful and infested with roaches and other insects. I actually had sprayed and bombed my unit multiple times and still had issues with roaches. The unit price also is raised like clockwork after a couple months. I packed up and moved out and strongly recommend staying away from here unless your storing roaches and insects and would like to add to your collection.

Victoria was great- she was efficient and made the process very easy. She explained what we needed to know and answered our questions, always with a smile. She offered us additional products (she's a great salesperson!) but wasn't pushy and took it in good humor when we explained that we purchased moving items elsewhere. All in all, a good experience.

Anderson was great. He was very well versed in explaining everything they have to offer. He was very good at the up-sell. Which I’ve got no issue with, it is a business after all.

Not climate controls, I did see a security guard but he didn't look too interested in this job. I've had a real bad experience with Public Storage so I can't give them more than two stars

I have rented plenty of storage through the years, but my experience at this Public Storage surpassed all. I had the pleasure of being helped by Vashti and Victoria at the Boynton Beach location. These two ladies had the best attitudes and made the process easy and Very positive. Great customer service skills from both. I have many associates and contacts and will Highly recommend Public Storage and this location.

Worst place I have ever done business. They find some way some how to rip you off every time. It’s happened to me, friends and also family that have rented here. I stupidly got another unit here and they didn’t notify me for any bill and I get a late fee and locked out and I’m sure they won’t want to do anything with their horrible attitudes. Will be leaving them by the end of the month to happily do business somewhere else. Not all public storages I’d assume are bad but this place is horrible!

Great price, reserved online and Lakisha called shortly after. Lakisha was fun and friendly! The property is clean and well kept, in a very convenient location for me. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that there is only one hand cart available in the indoor storage area. There are three doors, so it would be great if there were at least 3 carts.

We have reserved a space for our 5th wheel trailer at this location since 2012 with the local Manager, Jonathan. He and his staff have always been helpful, efficient and friendly. The office is clean and well-stocked. The property is always maintained well and, if I find it necessary to call and leave a message, Jonathan always returns my calls. He is a professional and a reliable contact. I would highly recommend this location for outdoor storage (I have no experience with indoor facilities).

Tidy for such a large area. Open until 9 pm. Our family has maintained a unit here for many years and never had a single problem.

10/10. The staff was very friendly and helpful after a night of no sleep and aching joints. Definitely made my day a little better with such fast and efficient service when I needed storage for my things last minute. The website was extremely easy to use, and the storage space was exactly what I was looking for. Plus the 1st month only a 1$ promotion made it affordable and extremely convenient.

great central location very close to home, cheap if you get the dollar promo, couple of extra fees here and there. Great staff and clean place.
