The elevators aren’t great, you can’t hold them while loading. I was also charged in the beginning of the month, and not like I was told at the office (after 30 days)

Not safe: Homeless people sleep in the empty units in this facility. Only one cart to use for the entire facility. The place is riddled with cockroaches. If you want your items to have cockroaches when you take them out then this place is for you!

Look, it’s a Public Storage in downtown Miami so, yeah, the decor is a little rough. But I haven’t had any safety concerns and the staff is friendly and helpful, even if they are overworked.

Love this place the people that work here are very nice if you ask nice.

The building is kept clean and the elevators are in working order always. The staff is very helpful and understanding. And very kind.

The female customer service representative should be retrained and monitored about sarcastism toward customers. Public storage should have several traveling supervisors pretending to be customers to catch their employees being disrespectful. She created a hostile environment because she were asked questions about the storage. I would not recommend this storage location to anyone.

It's an ok storage unit, but, my son needs his refund on a second storage unit we don't need.

The USPS on the other side of the street didn't have a big enough box for our parcel. So we got sent here and were helped more than excellent and with a smile by the lady working there. Forgot her name, but want to thank her. All our items arrived in one piece due to her help packaging it.

I needed to store my things for a couple months while moving and this place was perfect in terms of the location. Staff is really professional, check in and paperwork took about 15 minutes, check out was easy as well and I did it online without even going to the office. Other than that, it is a storage ... you get an empty room with 6am to 6pm access.

This Public Storage is in a very convenient location downtown with reasonable rates. Parking is available, which is not commonly found at storage facilities nearby. Also, I want to mention Laquette, who is an associate at this location. Laquette is extremely friendly and has been very helpful since we moved into our unit. I'm very satisfied with the service at this location!

I’ve been renting here almost 2 years, and let me say the attention was really amazing, I didn’t need help a lot of the times I came to check on my stuff, but when I needed them staff was super helpful, specially Laquette! She was so nice and wonderful, and really helpful when I finished the lease! It also has AC so that’s good! Defiantly recommend the space!

I am extremely happy with my choice of location , it very close to home. When I arrived to the location i rang the doorbell and than realize the person is on lunch. But this gentleman came out to assist me who was so kind and helpful. He help me complete my reservation and explain in detail of storage I decided on. Joseph did an all and beyond job to explain how the storage facility works since I am new in town. I feel safe knowing that the facility has nice people and my items will be safe.

The customer service that Dorothy and Joseph provided was by far the best I have received at any business. Public Storage is lucky to have these two as employees. After I reserved my unit online, I received a message from Dorothy about 5 minutes later welcoming me to Public Storage and letting me know they were here for anything I needed. When I called back to schedule my move in with Joseph he was so friendly and accommodating. I just returned from the physical location and had the pleasure of working again with Dorothy. She is a treasure!!!! Explained everything so clearly.....showed me my unit and the ins and outs of the facility and was honest and trustworthy! The facility is very clean and air conditioned. As you know moving is very stressful....Dorothy made me forget my stresses and was a pleasure to meet. Do yourself a favor and use this location!

While searching for a storage online, where you find better deals, I make several reservations; a staff member contacted me and patiently explained that I should not click "reserve" every time I found what I needed, size and price, that they will reserve the unit for me and will send a confirmation email. Then, I needed to get a bigger space, and found one available online, I called and they change the unit size and honored the online offered price. At check in all was well explained and once again I was pleased with their patience and service. The unit was cleaned and ready. Their location is quiet and easy to find. So far I have gone several times without inconvenience. I will mentioned to respect the hours for access, which is understandable.

Tip! it's a little cheaper if you rent online!The process was quick and easy. You get your account number and gate code to enter the facility. And you can select your move in date. So the place is ginormous! and it's like a maze so you can easily get a workout in if you get lost.. It's clean and is air conditioned. And! no vermins creeping around.🤭 Inside the unit you have a lock 🔐 and keys. (2) I rented the small 5 by 5 which stores a lot if you arrange your stuff wisely 😉

My favorite place to store my belongings. I love my space at Public Storage. Clean and affordable.

I went looking for a place to store my dads antique car since he recently passed away and what I found was so much more. After being told by Dorothy that her facility did not have storage for cars she went above and beyond trying to help me find a location to store my dads car. Unfortunately I was not able to find what I was looking for but I was in tears and began telling her some of the memories we have had with this car. Dorothy listened and was so nice and sympathetic. She made me feel comfortable and after getting my cry out I left with a smile. If I ever need regular storage I know where to go! Thanks Dorothy!

Beware of the pricing, they give you a good price and then increase it to whatever they went. I called the location there was no answer so I called the 800 number and they told me that since it is a month to month contract they have the ability to change the rates. The person on the phone then just hung up on me. Good facility, bad business practices.

Dorothy goes beyond to help you if you should have any problems. It is pleasant to have someone who really cares about their job.

All though there are storage places closer to home this is my go to spot! Dorothy is AMAZING .. However lately they've been short staffed. So if you go and things are locked down or you have to wait trust me it's not her fault it's corporates.... It's a shame they aren't thinking of her safety or that fact that there should always be 2 in a place that size! Shame on them

I had just come out a public storage on 16970 NW 4ave. They were great but this other facility was not.The lady working there which don't remember here name but she a supervisor was rude and after the second visit told me that because I had just left the other facility a 16970 NW 4ave. I wouldn't qualify for the Memorial Day weekend savings. Something that she knew on her computer all that wasted time just to get me to pay more I left of course.. because she was so rude, I told her if she had just lost a customer she didn't care. I went to the storage post and was treated very nice there it's located on 12th Avenue and Northwest 7th Street anybody wants to go to a nice place where you're treated right go there. I got two months free... If this lady thought I was going to stay quiet she has something else coming to her.

Great Service, the people working there really provide detailed information to help make the right decisions for what we needed. Dorothy takes pride in knowing the customers and helping make the transition easy for storage and logistics. I would really really love to rate this a 5 but the only drawback is the hours open. Even if they could stay open until 7 or 8 pm would be more appreciative of meeting customers needs as a lot of people still work and cant make it there before 6 pm closing. So far so good! Dorothy confirmed my interview in advance. She was ready when I arrived... Easy... She walked me through the facility explaining every step for my next visits... The facility was clean. It is not the newest one but it is well located and easy to access.

I have worked with several different storage facilities, and have never experienced such professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness as I have at this location. Dorothy and her team are always ready and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to assist customers, and truly add a personal touch to the storage experience. I currently have 3 units at this facility and wouldn't dream of moving anywhere else.

Just started a new job and I am so thankful that my work units are located at the Downtown Miami location. The staff is fantastic, by far the best Public Storage experience I've ever had. Dorothy is simply incredible. She genuinely cares about all her customers and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy and has the best experience. I couldn't imagine having a unit anywhere else. I can honestly say it's a pleasure to make a trip to the Downtown Public Storage.

I went into Public Storage not knowing what to expect since I was already having a crappy day. When I walked in I was greeted by two lovely smiles that belonged to the lovely Dorothy and the very helpful Freddie. They were super friendly and super helpful and made me feel a whole lot better when I walked out. They are truly the storage experts and they knew what they were talking about. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for storage!

I walked in Overwhelmed but walked out happy and very satisfied!!!!! Everyone on staff said hello when I walked and were all equally helpful! The service was good and they were able to explain everything down to the bone!!!!!! They also gave me a tour and showed me how to work everything!!!!!

I have been with public storage for about 2 years now and it has been nothing but a pleasure dealing with Dorothy she has always helped me with any issues I have in a very professional manner although I have wanted to change locations the reason I have stayed is cause of her and not only to me but to others as well I have recommended many people to her and will continue to do so..thank you dorothy

Ignorant idiots. I use one credit card just for my Public Storage account and no one else. I freaked when my bank called to ask if it was me buying a $1000 ticket on Bangladesh air. No, and the bank jumped on it. I then called Public Storage and explained the situation. That's when I ended up talking to dumb and dumber's sister whose response was "I don't know anything about that". I asked that she shut down the auto pay and send me my bill. No they don't mail bills. Okay, then email me I told her and as far as I could tell she agreed. I later went back into the account to delete the card numbers but you can't do that so I phoned and had to leave a message. They didn't do anything. Today I finally got the email with a LATE CHARGE?

this property is mantained very well..the staff is so helpful..I was hired to help a tenant move out of the facility and Dorothy did a great job with assisting me with all my questions...NORMALY EMPLOYEES DONT CARE...DOROTHY 100% GAVE ME HER THOROUGH ATTENTION.THANKS DOROTHY.SHIPPING BY DUSTIN

I went to PS in search of moving supplies. What I found was someone so knowledgeable of all the items and what it takes to pack and move. She was very sympathetic to the horrible day I had been having and that made this all the more worth while. Dorothy I truly thank you for making this experience a little more easier for me. If ever I do need packing supplies, I will definitely see you again!

I was very skeptical at first but when I was told from some other friends of mine that Miss Dorothy, with her type of high quality one on one attention she gives to her customers ..I didn't mind about spending a little bit more on this location rather than the other ones that were cheaper.. I admire her ability to multi task with such poise n focus, yet having so much patience with others,,, love the communication she has with her other employees she makes a great team with Nestor both of them treated me with total Excellent Care! This location is the best only because of Dorothy the manager, she is the reason i have stayed here for so long. Since I rented out two units here at the beginning of the year, I have had to come and go from this property quite a bit to move things in and out. Each time I do, Joseph, Dorothy, and Manny have need extremely helpful. I work at a 5-star hotel and I feel like the service they give to customers here is on par with the service we try to give our guests at my workplace. 10/10 would recommend!

Dorothy, Joseph and the rest of this facility staff is great. I would say amazingly good and all of it thanks to the people that work at this particular storage facility. Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing about district and regional managers which are absent minded and lack any kind of professional customer service. I wish all of the other Public Storage facilities in Miami Dade County had such helpful staff.

my experience at public storage for the first time was made very pleasant by the staff. Dorothy has an awesome personality she is very detailed and makes you smile even if though moving can be stressful She also treats each customer very well even tho it was hectic.Joseph was very helpful also. He made it his duty to make sure we were ok and that we were satisfied with the service even tho they were very busy... I can actually say i met two great people today and i kinda almost wanna send them flowers... lol

If anyone were to ask me why I have been a tenant at the Public Storage location 27815 in downtown Miami for so many years, I would quickly and gladly reply: the really nice and fantastic people that I have met that are involved with that location. In many places nowadays the Customer Service seems to be forgotten. It is thriving in downtown Miami because of people like Property Manager Dorothy Evans. Dorothy is the outstanding "people person" and quintessential problem solver. What a pleasure it is to deal with a person like Dorothy who really and truly cares about her tenants and really shows you her devotion to make things run right. I have also been very impressed with the excellent quality of Area Properties Manager Manny Darowiche and Regional Manager Doug Mesmer. It shows me that the PS commitment of customer care and satisfaction is also present at the higher levels of management and administration. I stay at the Miami location because of the PS Super Team that I deal with as a tenant. How can I not?

Besides being an old location, compared to other Public Storage around Miami, this one has by far the best personal out of all the ones I visited when making my decision. After over 6 months at this storage, I have never had a problem without a quick and fair solution from the staff. Count on them!
