Angela when I first rented was great, and today when I went in to reserve a larger unit to move into, Rosemary and Astrid worked together and did a great job walking through the new rental and confirming what’s needed and when to cancel/vacate the other unit prior to add’l charges for another month.

Rosemary is outstanding to work with. Have rented at several area facilities and this one is the best by far. Value, price and great customer service.

I am so sorry I used them. I told them I wanted climate control and gave them sq footage. I ended having to get another rental. They have insulation on the ceiling that covers all your stuff what a mess. I have to pay on the first even though my check hits on the third auto pay did not work in Feb so charged a late fee. The problem on there end. The company does not prorate period. So if moving out on the first which I am charging me the whole month. Will never use them again. So not cool. Customer service sort of 🦨 stinks

Rosemary was amazing & very helpful, especially after I arrived here for my scheduled appointment a day prior and the store was closed between the hours of 12 & 130pm when I arrived, which I was given no prior notification about. I almost chose not to rent from this facility, however Rosemary called me the next day was very sweet and helpful & able to get me into a storage unit. If it wasn’t for her I would be renting from another facility. Thank you Rosemary for being so amazing!

We are in the bicycle business and use Public Storage for inventory overflow. We have rented as many as 3 units. Public Storage has always worked hard to accommodate our business as our needs have changed. Their units are clean and secure. Move in and move out are easy both physically and administratively. Best we have found.

Rosemary provided FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. The Public Storage up the street did not have anyone at the facility to help so I called and she advised if I could come to her location she would take care of me. I needed to downsize units and she was able to help facilitate that process, waive the administration fee since I was already a customer along with other issues that I was unable to do myself in the online process. Rosemary went above and beyond to make sure she kept my business along with making sure I had everything I needed to make the transition to the new unit. I highly recommend using Public Storage because of Rosemary.

Am a nurse .my unit is at the curlew storage on and it’s under renovation and I went to the 4080 one. Mrs. Angela was wonderful. She took me in with a smile and positive energy. Love her personality I stayed there talking with her . I hope they value her. I never had this type of experience in other public storage I been too.

We decided to travel around the world for a couple of years and store our most important belongings in a storage shed. After reading reviews, we decided to go with Public storage. We booked online a unit at the Tarpon Springs location in March and received a confirmation email and phone call. We loaded our car and arrived there. A man on reception said we don’t have any booking and he has no idea who called us and which booking we are talking about, even after I showed him our confirmation email. I felt disappointed with this unprofessional behavior. I wrote a review and the next day received an apology phone call from district manager. She said sorry and that she would give us the same monthly rate as promised, but at the Tampa Road Oldsmar location. There we met Rosy who was nice to us and showed us a unit and gave us a key. But I was still worried what if they will jerk up the price in month and two since this area’s monthly rates are higher than the one we wanted in Tarpon Springs. After I asked, I was assured that won’t happen. I was told, even if, in the future it does happen, I could always call property manager and discuss a better price. This sounded fair at the time. Now, four months later, they raised the price by more than 25%. I’ve been calling them from the last serval days, but no one has received my calls and no one answered my messages. Now we are in Asia and feel trapped. We cannot do anything but continue to pay them. I am so disappointed with this development. I'm revising this review for four star because property manager did contact me.

Let me start by saying that I was never initially impressed with Public Storage as a company, they were actually my last choice for Renta space , in regards to bad experiences in my past , and really just rented here out of convenience to location. I Love!!!, this Location !!! So much ! It's super clean and well maintained! The staff is super attentive and take pride in giving supreme customer service ! The manager Rosie would get 11 stars from me if it was possible! Public Storage has A Rock Star on their team for sure! She knows the compan y standards and surpasses them by far in my opinion. For all your storage needs you can trust the team at 4080 to suppass any expectations for a storage facility. Edit still a great facility but not happy about rate increase due to property face-lift. The bathroom toilet leaks and the faucet is not installed properly . Rosie is still a Rockstar!

Definitely do not like the fact that the longer you rent the more money you start to pay. We started at a $100 a year ago and now we are over $212 for a 10 by 10

This storage facility increased our rent by $100 after a few months while advertising that same size unit for the same price we were original paying. I left messages for manager to call me back but never got a return call. I got online and chatted with their customer support and explained the situation. They agreed that I could still rent the same size unit for the same price I was originally paying and suggested that I rent a new unit, move our stuff & cancel the original unit. I opted to move my stuff to a cheaper and more honest storage facility up the road.

I have been a customer at this Public Storage for several years. Yeah, there are others and some are even closer to home but because of the facility's manager, Rosemary, is why I stay here. If it's customers service, knowledge and recognizing you by your first name when you enter the building, then this is why you should store all your prize possessions at this location. With about 14 years of experience, Rosemary makes you feel like family not just another number if you will! It's like going to your favorite restaurant and your greeted by calling out your name, same here. I like the personal touch in a person and this place, along with Rosemary, has it! I highly recommend stopping by and see for yourself if your are in the market for a storage unit. Try several others first then give this one a look see and you will soon agree with me that this is where you will be doing business. A++ staff and facility!!!! OK...it's been about 2 years since I left my review and feel compelled to give an update to what I've said above. I'm still here renting space and still dealing with the very knowledgeable and friendly, Rosemary! She now has about 16 years experience and still going strong! While somethings stay the same, like the super staff, but what did change was a remodeling of the main lobby and looking really spiffy! New counters with plexiglass shields in place for everyone's protection. I personally think that this Public Storage is at the top of its class. Come to find out it is also both a training and meeting facility for all the Public Storage's in the surrounding area! You remember that commercial "If It's Borden, It's Got To Be Good," well apply that slogan to this facility by changing one word and see for yourself!

A warning to those of you considering renting here. Our monthly rate for our outside unit just went up 20% a month starting May 1. From $364.32 to $437.81. Increase of $73.49. A month. And the prices shown on their website do NOT include taxes or required insurance. In my case, that alone adds up to $37.91 each month. Shop around.

Exceptionally outstanding, Above and beyond Service! When i first came here, the staff got me right in on a Sunday afternoon. When i was i a bind and needed to double my storage, Rosemary came to the rescue! She stopped what she was doing, updated all my information, got me a unit real close to where i was, got me a hand truck and bent over backwards to take care of every single need! This lady deserves a raise! I cannot rate these guys high enough! Secure facility, clean, above helpful staff and i have never had a problem here! Store here, you will be glad you did! Postie- Update: Everything here is still going great! Rosemary is quite a help i am very happy with PS! 11/24: Rosemary once again helped me out with more storage issues! Public Storage Oldsmar has been an experience... and INCREDIBLE experience. Long story short, in two days time we needed three units to fit our old office building due to moving and Rosemary made it happen. From a personalized interaction, to a detailed walkthrough of the renting process, making sure to walk me to the units and explains everything. Even making sure we had all of the supplies needed for during and after moving process. That is what I call an INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE. Kuddos to PS for their facilities and for having staff members like Rosemary.

I had a huge problem but Rosemary at this facility took time out of her busy schedule to decide the best way to solve my issue. She handled my problem with the upmost of professionalism. She is a credit to the Public Storage family.

They obviously have no regard for personal service. I showed up with a moving truck and my code would not work and it cost me a lot of money. Paying movers and a rental truck by the hour while creating a huge traffic jam. absolutely no follow-up from management concerning this. Then one week later it happened again last night I could not access my unit. absolutely pathetic!!!

I went to shop for a storage unit as I was between places. Walked in, met Sam who helped out a lot. Very customer oriented, which you don't see from front of the house workers! Got me in set up with my unit ASAP. GOOD JOB SAM. PUBLIC STORAGE you have a keeper with her. The unit was what I would expect. Large and roomie. I got an outside storage unit with no AC but thats the only downfall. Wish they could offer some outside units with AC, not really climate controlled, but being in Florida with all the heat an humidity maybe even a fan and exhaust fan, but that is neither here nor there. Got what I wanted so the family and I are happy.

Completely understandable why they have reviews disabled on their Facebook page,.... completely disappointed. I was renting there for a long time. They have no issues prorating rent when you move in but you move out 2 days after the first of the month and they demand a full month rent payment or threaten to turn you over to collections??? Completely ridiculous I will be filing a formal complaint as well as filing a complaint with the BBB. I don't see how they can charge you for services they don't provide

March 4th 2020 from 145pm-6pm the two girls working the front desk were nothing but pleasant, extremely helpful. Knew everything about the facility and showed each and every piece with care. I had a credit card problem from out of state they handled professionally and promptly. The deal online was exactly as it said it was and the only surprise is $15/mo insurance w $100 deductible to cover your things if something happens or are stolen $5000 limit. A great place to rent for months or possibly years. Extremely satisfied and as you can see by my reviews I'm not easy to please. Cant say enough good things about both girls

I was in need of storage during a military relocation. On a very stressful day I was assisted by RoseMary who provided exceptional customer service. She calmly explained which units would be the best fit and most economical. While waiting for my truck Rosemary provided great information on the area. She remained cool under pressure when there were several people asking questions. Initially, I made a reservation online for our unit. We got there and Rosemary would not honor it for us. Requested we pay a higher rate, no special and disregard our prior reservation. After getting a District Managers telephone number we were able to get her to honor our reservation. Yes that’s right a reservation. Fast forward a few months and I let Rosemary know we had a ROOF LEAK in our unit. Her response, oh well I’ll put a ticket in for it. when asked how long until this would be seen to she said a week or so. EVERY BELONGING that we had was in the unit as we are a military family transitioning. I asked what about our belongings and her lacking response was to contact my insurance company because it WASNT her problem. So yeah the leak continued for weeks. I was able to complete our insurance claim and get way less than the cost of having to get almost all new belongings. I can not believe that woman has a a. I would never recommend this place.

The facility itself is fine. Clean and secure. However, the lack of carts is beyond frustrating. Rarely if you show up on a weekend is there a cart for you to use. Such an easy and inexpensive problem to solve, but they do nothing even though they are aware of the issue. (Writing this as I sit and wait for a cart to use)

Storage facility is ok. Felt dirty. Cockroaches and bugs in the outside units. The ceiling has some really disgusting looking insulation on it. We had a unit there for a few months. Property Manager was nice.

Due to this location allowing someone that dont shower to live on property i am moving my things out so he can have his space back. I am a single woman trying to take care of my thing in my unit an having to deal with this daily. So until u remove this guy u will keep loosing money.

Everyone from Kelly at the call center who helped me decide on a unit size right up to Rudy who gave me an immediate courtesy call at the storage facility did a fabulous job. Rudy even explained ways I could save some money and convinced me on purchasing the Damp-Rid (or something like that) since my unit is outside and not comfort controlled. Thanks Rudy! At least I know that my stuff won't get moldy now.

Prices change without notice. Get in at a good price, next thing you know they increase the price.

Can't get much easier, friendlier, and quicker than this experience. Booked what I wanted online (cheaper that way), I was shown the unit, signed enough paperwork to buy a house with and I was done. The good part is that you aren't locked into a long term lease. And yes, there are administration fees and insurance you have to buy. And, they can basically raise the rent whenever, but that's the price you pay for storage. Kimberly and Candice did an awesome job!

We stored some excess furniture and my mother in law's items there for about a year and a half. The site was kept clean and cool (climate controlled). The facility was kept up well and I always felt it was secure.

Got in on a great annual special, and Judson was simply amazing! We'd already discussed our needs over the phone, he confirmed a unit was available, we had a glitch on when we were arriving, and then of course, a storm the next day caused another delay, and he was nice enough to follow up with us via a phone call (LOL as we were pulling in!). He was prepared to show us the unit immediately, took us out on a golf cart to make sure the unit we'd been discussing was suitable to us. Then when, on the fly, we wanted to see some other options, he had a list ready in hand and was able to golf cart us around to show us what other units were free. He was efficient, warm and funny, and still remained conscious of the time away from the front office as he was the only one working that day - and let me tell you, people were coming in right and left while we were there making our decision, and he handled them all with the same warmth and efficiency he'd shown us. This particular facility was ideally situated for us, and our current needs. We also noted it's directly across the street from our super sized local flea market, where we are looking to rent a booth from, so we may be using this same facility (tho a larger unit) for our inventory storage needs for that business down the road. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a single month, or longer storage needs. All the units we looked at were clean and dry (and we had a hurricane coming in - so lots of rain and if anything was leaking, it would have been obvious). Grounds are kept clean, and there are restrooms, cold drinking water, plenty of carts on hand as well.

We made a reservation online, went to this facility and the lady had no idea what was going. The unit she told us was available on the phone was climate controlled, we get there and she gave us the wrong unit number so nothing was available except outside. So not only did we waste our time, but nothing was even correct. I've been running around for 5 hours trying to figure this out now. Finally judson on the gunn hwy location helped me but we got stuck paying for a higher priced larger unit. ***edit to this remark*** the district manager called and fixed the issue for me, THANK YOU FOR BEING SO HELPFUL!

Most of my interactions were with Iris. She was incredibly helpful. I wasn't pressured into anything that I neither needed nor wanted. IRIS IS THE BEST!!!!!! I lost my keys to my unit a week ago. I brought a new lock to Iris yesterday at 5:45pm. She informed me that it may take a week or two to cut the old lock. She told me that she would let me know as soon as it's done. I explained to her that I really need to get in my unit asap if possible and to see what she can do. She called me at noon today to tell me that its done. Wow!!!! I didn't not expect such a quick response. She expedite this issue so well!!! I cannot say enough about Iris! She's the Queen of Storage in my eyes!

My experience with this location was a total scam. I created a reservation online locking in the price of $40/month for a 5x5 unit. When I got there, it was up sell, up sell, up sell. First I was asked 50 questions about what all I was putting in the unit, and was pressed to get a bigger size. Then, we went out to see the unit I would be getting. Next thing I know, the front desk rep/manager is putting a brand new lock on the door. When we got back to do paperwork, I inquired about the cost of the lock. I was told it was $20!!! I refused it, and then she tried to refuse to let me finalize the paperwork on the unit since I wouldn't buy their lock or have my own lock in hand. Finally she relented and allowed me to return the very next day with my own. I next had to listen to 10 minutes of sales pitches on boxes, plastic wrap, and their "special tape". After refusing to buy any of that, I could tell she was getting pissed. Finally, after putting all my information in the computer, I am informed that it is company policy that I MUST purchase "insurance" as part of their lease requirement. They wanted $11/month for only $3,000 worth of coverage, that even though they weren't "insurance brokers" I was required to buy through THEIR company. Just as a touchstone, my renters insurance for $50K of coverage is only $8/month. . . so their coverage is another RIP OFF. Also, this would have brought my unit price to over $50+/month. Ridiculous. They should tell you all these requirements up front and not try to bait and switch potential customers AFTER they are there in person with their things. I left, and will find a legitimate company to deal with. Buyers beware.

I had found a great deal via the web on a unit that wasn't air conditioned. When I arrived the gentleman behind the desk, who we will call Baus, asked several questions which led him to believe an air conditioned unit would be better. He showed me both units and I decided to do the air conditioned unit. You may think that he was simply doing his job, and that's probably right, but it was more the manner in which he did it. I rated this experience as "Loved it". One might wonder how someone can love the process of renting a storage space. I didn't really love it, meaning I wouldn't run out and rent another storage unit just for the experience. But on a scale of 1 to 5, I'd rate the experience and how I was treated by Baus as excellent.

I stop by in order to find a storage, the Property Manager" Iris" was so professional, gave me the attention and answer all my question, I'm very impressed the Property is so clean and everything in its place, I wasn't able to rent that day, but I will on my next visit, I Will recommend this place to my friend, Excellent place, and Excellent service. ..

I would recommend this location to anyone with a short-term or long-term situation. Iris also informed me of how I could save more dollars on my insurance rates, great stuff!

This is my first time renting a storage space and the experience was very nice. Karen was very helpfull and pleasant, she explained everything I needed to know in order to get the best for my situation. I rate my experience with her with a five star. I look foward doing business with your company.

My experience has been nothing but pleasant. The girls at the front are always very helpful. These units are very convenient for my business and are kept in good condition. The only thing I would suggest is fixing the pot hole at the gate area. It has been patched a few times, but it doesn't bond well.

I had a wonderful experience at this Oldsmar Public Storage. The Property Manager, Iris, is exemplary. Although I arrived near to their closing time, she helped me find discounts, helped me with my little ones while I went to view the unit, and even stayed after closing when I had a mishap (locked my keys in my car) to make sure I was okay. She was kind, patient, and highly professional. On top of this, she showed extraordinary grace and self-composure while dealing with a very difficult person. I highly recommend this facility, and especially commend Iris.

Absolutely horrible customer service and experience. They advertise a gate as protection, gate was out of service for 2 weeks with no notification. I prescheduled to vacate my unit and had my credit card removed from file, and just got a bill because they claim I didn't tell them. I would never rent from them again, and implore you follow me.
