Andres and Susan were terrific they helped me get into my storage unit when my key broke inside the lock. Susan was absolutely polite she greeted me as soon as she could and Andres was very quick at fixing the issue. This is the best storage unit I’ve been paying for they are very helpful would definitely recommend this location!

I gotta say a big thank you to Andres for always helping me stay on top of my rental agreement and very Professional every time I'm there.

We were having difficulty signing up online so we decided to personally come in and ask for help. The gentleman that was at the help desk who is from Woodstock, Connecticut help us through the process and was able to make all the arrangements for us. There is no better way to do the process but by doing it in person. Although online is a convenience for some whenever the system fails to work in person service would still be the best option. This person went above and beyond to ensure we secure a storage. He should be commended for this as we have not have gotten further without his assistance. We had a long day with a lot of people who we talked through so I was not able to recall his name but what I know is that he work today. March 9,2023. Thank you so much!

Absolute disappointment. I walked in today to find all of my stuff covered in mold. First-floor climate-controlled storage is an absolute joke because the doors are always propped open. A/C and warm humid air create condensation. I've now paid thousands of dollars to store stuff that is now garbage. Thanks Public Storage.

Came into the Port Saint Lucie location and Brian was so delightful and thorough to work with. He walked us over to show us the units and had such amazing customer service. I almost thought he was the owner or manager, nevertheless he was amazing.

Make sure to bring your own cart to haul your boxes. The entire complex only has 4 carts so trying to find one takes forever. The only positive is the place is clean and everyone seems to be really nice.

Place is nice but they only have 4 carts to unload your stuff with two buildings of units. It's a fight to get a cart everytime you come. All the money they make and won't buy more carts it's sad

Completely unfair billing practices. Go to CubeSmart

They will jack your rates as soon as you get in! We understand a reasonable rate increase during these times but our rate went up $73 monthly, almost 50% after 5 months! When you call customer service they won't address any of your concerns. They tell you that a manager will be in touch in 24 hours. Then you get an automated message saying "your account is not eligible for a rate decrease." We would have been fine with a 10% increase to cover inflation costs but a $73 increase is not okay. Even though we still need storage for another 12 months, we are moving to another facility that guarantees prices for 6-12 months and only increases up to 10% with advanced notice.

There are a couple lovely and very helpful people in the office and one nasty curmudgeon whom I’ve had multiple adverse experiences with. The first time was when someone stole my reserved unit by putting a lock on it. The second was when I had a pod/box to move my stuff to my new home. He came at me all hot demanding to know why I parked the box in the wrong space. It had been placed exactly where a person from the office had shown the driver to place it. Even though pods/boxes are smaller than moving trucks, they only allow one at a time on the far end of the property. So that forced my moving helpers to walk 150 extra yards with fully loaded handcarts to load the box. The movers worked as fast as they could but that more than doubled the necessary time to unload the storage and load the box. And it was their own employee who had us park the box an extra thirty yards further! DO NOT STORE HERE IF COMING OR GOING YOU PLAN TO USE A POD/BOX. They triple the amount of work you’ll need to do.

I visited recently to switch to a unit about half the size as one we'd been renting since late 2018. The man who helped me, Matt, was very helpful. I was able to rent a unit in the same building on the same floor only one row away AND I got to keep my original lock and keys. The experience was very smooth and my interaction with Matt was very positive.

Matt was courteous, professional, and personable. I had a great start to my first day renting a storage room.

Matt is the best. We rented a space already there now for few months and we had to rent another one. Matt prepared all the contract in advance to save us time. Definitely I recommend this location 1000% thanks Matt!!!

I received a notice of delinquent bill and charged a late fee. I immediately went to the office and informed them that I had timely come by to pay the bill during office hours and they were closed. The security there is unbelievably poor to say the least. A friend of mine lost there key an I just drove in, parked walked upstairs bolt 18" bolt cutters in hand cut the lock off put a new lock on walked back down stairs got in my truck an left in broad daylight an no one said a word just thought id share that.

Hard to get ahold of the front desk but when you do they are beyond helpful. I love my unit. It’s always clean inside the building.

Only if they have a half of star they don't deserve my one star my husband and I went to get our items there was NOOO EQUIPMENT TO HELP WITH LOADING AND UNLOADING... ASK THE SUPERVISOR SHE TOLD US PEOPLE STEALING THE KARTS SO THE ONES WE WAS USING SHE CAME AND TAKE THEM AWAY just before 6:00 with all the money they steal from CUSTOMERS THEY SHOULD have brought more karts its already hard on family that don't have the man Power to carry their furniture through an elevator 😑 SHAME ON YOU PUBLIX😰😰😰😰😥😥😥😥😥

One of the worst companies to work for. If you want a company that’s the absolute epitome of toxic corporate America, Public Storage is that company. I worked with them for a year and the management’s tactics at handling issues is threatening you with consequences. They pick favourites and will bark at you for everything you do wrong while rewarding little to nothing of the things you do right(they excuse it by giving a $200 bonus to one person for a contest once a year.) The benefits here are amateur and you can get better benefits working full time at Walmart. They refuse to hire more than JUST ENOUGH people so if you’re left at a big property by yourself, oh well. There’s no understanding if you missed this or that. The managers have poor communication skills and take no personal responsibility when their team is miss communicated on something. The company has been great for customers, but only about 60% of them. Any time a customer issue came up our training is literally designed to reflect the issue with the most unhelpful resolution possible. They hire cheap construction services but blame the customer when their first floor floods because they didn’t install the foundation correctly(true story.) All in all, Walmart is a better company to work for, and if you store anything here, be ready to protect your goods because this for-profit-only company will not care enough to help you.

Great that app is available for access at gate, door and elevator. Pain in the neck to have to enter the code if you don't use the app. Wish they had a better system for using the flat beds though. I haven't been able to use one since move in.

Clean looking ..however...moving cart flats were in main building at office... Inconvenient... Big bugs on floor in the building my son was leased in... in the 5x5 upper storage units...- the didn't have covered protection...had bird poop and feathers in upper unit... just wanted out ..so I didn't complain...office personell were nice.

Great staff, very accommodating. Facility is very secure which I like a lot. Only draw back is no late night access and due to theft the carts are a bit restricted. We were told each floor had rolling ladders. Every time we went none. We had a 10×10 top level. My husband had to lift me up. I passed items down.

Great place to store

My husband and I met Broeke (who normally works from the West Palm location) and she was wonderful. Answered our questions, gave us a tour of the facility and the storage locker we were interested. Had a great sense of humor. Made the whole process easy and enjoyable. The facility itself is very nice. Clean, well-maintained and feel our goods will be protected. Met the manager of the facility the next day when we returned, she was also very helpful as we negotiated the process to enter the facility. Many thanks.

Don't do business with Public Storage. They will quote you a monthly price and once you're in they will raise the monthly rate higher and higher. Look for another storage facility because these people are crooks.

Gates are always broken for security called to have issue resolved after I spoke with management they apologized and then raised our monthly rent! Apparently you have to sit down and not complain for your valuables. Be advised they keep growing and so do there monthly rate

You guys have the nerve to sit and add certains amount to peoples bills. The people here are rude and for someone who has been struggling to keep her things at this place is terrible.why when paying my bill i have to be charged 15 to 20 dollars when paying with a card.

I thought that the hold I had placed on a unit the night before had been validated. I discovered that it had not been. However the customer service representative, La-Nique Prentice, assured me that it was no problem. She was very cordial and professional and guided me through the necessary process. We arranged for a rental unit at an agreeable price and closed the deal without a hitch.

They need to come up with a system to prevent people from stealing the carts or locking the carts in their unit. I have a second floor unit and need a cart everytime I go there. It's too much of a hassle for me to get a cart. I have to park my SUV walk back to the gate, enter my code for the gate to open, go into the office ,give my DL to get a cart, and walk back to the unit(after i enter my gate code to get back in). Then i have to do all that again to return the cart. I understand a few bad seeds mess it up for others but they need to come up with a different system on making sure they get the carts back. The office close at 5pm and I work so on most days I can only go to the storage unit after work but there are no carts available because they're all locked in the office. Going back and forth to the car got 1 box at a time is frustrating.

Went to see if unit was large enough. Employee La-Nique Prentice was so professional and helpful. Great customer service skills. Explained how they maintain the storage units and keep clean. Educated us on the different layers of security. Hope she is recognized for being such a great employee. Thank you. Because of her we will highly recommend

The Public Storage location on NW University in Port Saint Lucie is immaculately clean and easy to get to. The facility has a lot of parking close to the buildings and entrance doors are easily accessible to storage units. The staff is absolutely wonderful and professional. They took their time helping to make sure that I was choosing the appropriate size unit for my needs and explained everything thoroughly. Each employee has been friendly, knowledgeable, sweet, and respectful. Especially during the initial calls in late February that the managers (Elana, Kamesia* I know I’m spelling it wrong sorry, and Anna) place to follow up after making an online unit reservation- each voicemail was professional and nice...and when I spoke to Elana and Kamesia* they were so consistently nice over the phone... and in person... the entire process went smoothly and was great... directly from a Met’s spring training game I went over to the facility and was able to set everything up... , Kamesia* walked me through everything and how to enter the unit and all the info needed... I felt 100% comfortable and knowledgeable about the entire process! Since renting I have contacted the onsite office and spoke to Zack and Elana , they were able to assist me with something and 100% helped and I am very appreciative how well they follow up and communicate!!! You can tell that they all are happy to help, value the customer, and are happy to be working there... BEST DECISION EVER TO RENT AT THIS FACILITY!!! Don’t Hesitate to reserve a unit!!!

Very secure facility. You need to punch in a code to get into the gate. Then to get into the building. Then to get on the elevator. Then you have the lock on your unit. Four levels of security to access your belongings on the second floor of a unit with AC. If you have a lot to haul it can be a bit annoying to go through 3 levels of security to move in and out. Bringing someone along with you for big moves is convenent.

The staff have been very helpful. Zack, Misha, Elana have all worked together to make our storage effort very worth while. We had a lot of HHG to store requiring two storage units. They were able to help us determine what the sizes should be. The HHG fit in almost exactly! We were very pleased. We had to leave the state to buy a new home and we were not worried about security. This storage location has ample cameras, lights, locks and codes to secure Fort Knox!

This place is horrible. If I hadnt paid a admin fee I would get my stuff out. No Parking The office is always away. The elevators dont work and license expired. I couldnt get to my floor 3 times I can't access my unit. Gates are broken Do not recommended. Place needs a make over.

Shifty business practices. Slowly increasing the amount of your rent till you paing an extra $60. Charging you $15 for a lock if you dont have one with you when you buy and required insurance. They Dont keep facilities very clean, especially the bathrooms they are horrid. Most of the time the gate does not work and is left wide open. Just all around not a good business.

Price has been raised twice in less than a year for a total increase of 30%. I guess they figure once you’re in it’s a pain to move to another company. Would not recommend.

Amazing!! Amazing!!! Simply amazing five star worthy service provided at this public storage location from Angela. I came into this location frantic due to personal issues and may have had a slight attitude. After speaking with Angela her calm demeanor and willingness to help me find a unit to store my belongings I am leaving with a sense of security that my stuff will be safe a secure. I have had a previous experience with public storage that was not so Pleasant therefore I have been on both sides of these reviews. If more people where as friendly, helpful and Honest as the people in this facility business would be booming. Keep doing what your doing in this location!!!! Could not have been happier with the service and staff at the St. Lucie West Public Storage location. Storage room was clean and the elevators made it super easy to fill. The staff spent the time to determine best size and we filled it to the door. All of our furniture was in perfect shape thus taking a tremendous amount of stress off. Would recommend St Lucie West to anyone who asks.

Came in today to rent a space and was surprised how well maintained this property is. I have been to many storage companies and this is by far the best. This has been by far the WORSE experience I've ever had with a storage company. and im giving it 1 star because i have no choice it wont post this without selecting stars but i wouldn't even give them 1 star!!!!!!! i found a dead MOUSE in my unit! that bit through all my furniture and left droppings all over my things and i am not even getting back 1/3 of what i paid for it. the insurance that they offer is a JOKE! the ins company only covers UP TO 250.00 for this type of damage with a 100 deductible! who does that?!!!?!?!?! MY DAMAGES ARE WAY MORE THAN WHAT THEY EVEN OFFER AND NOONE IS EVEN TRYING TO HELP ME when i reported this issue to public storage it seems as though no one wants to be bothered i guess because its not their belongings! i pay my unit on time WITHOUT FAIL TO THIS COMPANY AND THEY JUST ACT LIKE THEY CANT BE BOTHERED!!!! aren't they supposed to have pest control???? how can they conduct business like this?? WHO WOULD BE OKAY WITH THIS??? they require insurance for their units just for their benefit. i suggest you rent somewhere else there are plenty other storage places around this city !!!!

I was a bit taken back cause the last time i asked for space my ex stabbed me with a spork and set all my clothes on fire on the front lawn. Not only did miss angela give me space she said she would not burn my things either. Miss angela is da bomb diggity. By far the best and most helpful person at your establishment.

First off Irene was the most helpful person in Port St Lucie. Have you ever needed someone to just work WITH you and not AGAINST you? Well, Irene was that person. I couldn't have moved my storage items off the property if it wasnt for her. I am so grateful for her. She is the only one who cared. She even came in on her off day to help. She was knowledgeable, and dependable and trustworthy. Thats the bottom line. Great qualities to have when managing my storage items.

Scammers! This place is filthy and staff completely dishonest. All they want is money. They will charge you rent after you moved out for additional month and additional fees. Liars at the counter will tell you that no money owned. They hang up the phone. Angela at the counter is the biggest liar as well as very nasty about addressing any issues with billing. They fraud paperwork and put a different vacating date. Don't have any business with public storage ever! This is the worst storage ever. Management stuff of the facility very rude. After they leave you with extra charges after you move out on time, they will care nothing. Horrible business that will lose many customers just by the way they fraud documentation and charge after you long gone out of the unit.
