This is cleanest Public Storage you can find in Tampa. The property manager Susan was very easy to work with and very detailed in her explanation of renting at Public Storage. In my frantic move gone bad, she had anticipated needs I hadn't even thought of yet and proactively took care of them. The staff at this Public Storage location are quite simply AWESOME! My husband was working on our unit today and came home telling me how wonderful the staff, Susan and Alex, were toward him. They offered bottles of water (as it was incredibly hot today) and even opened up the office just minutes after closing so he could check out and not have to make a trip back. Not only are the staff thoughtful and kind, the facility is simply terrific looking. Very clean and recently remodeled. If you ever have storage needs in the north Tampa or Odessa area, please stop in and chat with Susan or Alex. You will be as impressed as I am.

Vivi was terrific. I had signed up for a 10x10 unit which I had thought would be big enough. Well it wasn't and Vivi seamlessly transferred us to a larger size without any issues. She is definitely a pleasure to work with. This place is very clean and in great shape. I would recommend this storage facility to everyone.

Everyone was helpful and I leased a storage space exactly like I requested. I thought the person who did the administrative work for me was excellent. Judson set me up and gave me a tour and explained everything in detail. I hope my relationship with all the personnel will be the same in the future. I have been using this facility for the past year. I have since adjusted some of my storage and had the pleasure of working with Vivi several times. Vivi walked me through the process in detail all the time being very attentive, courteous, professional and efficient. I'm glad I chose this location for storage.

The property and office are super clean, super COVID-19 prepared and safe. Vivi is terrific. The first unit my husband put on hold through the online tool actually had a water trough running in the back, so Vivi quickly located a new and DRY unit for us. We are more than pleased.

We purchased a abandoned unit at the auction from this facility and it has a lot of boxes in this unit. When we got to it to pick it up, there was boxes ONLY. About 50 empty boxes THAT'S IT. We've been doing the storage auctions for years and never had anything like this! No one pays $80-$100 a month to just store empty boxes. There was not even one item in this boxes! Just an empty boxes, that's it! We paid $380 for this unit and $150 for a rental truck and we lost it all. People beware of this company and especially of this facility! Looks like they enter the storage units and take stuff.... we will report them to BBB as well! Also we have video to prove it if anyone needs it. We will put it on YouTube as well. This is unacceptable! Again, do not trust this storage company!

Overall, I rate them a 4, mostly because the prices are a tad high and the place is run down. However, I had a great experience with ViVi and would recommend working with her if you decide to rent with them.

Overall, this storage company fit my needs as far as storing what I needed to store. During the time I used the company the prices were raised and I was out of state so I didn’t have the option to move my belongings to a more affordable unit. One of the most frustrating things was how I was pressured into writing a review, first by Treasure when I moved in and twice by Pat when I went in to ask a question and then again when I moved out. I said I had already left a review and was told “well you can leave another one.” I said I would leave one when I left because I was in a rush and was told “so that means you’re not going to do it.” I understand how beneficial reviews are for companies and I do leave reviews for products and services I use, however I don’t want to be repeatedly pressured into doing so. So overall, it’s a basic storage unit and it’s kept clean, but nothing exceptional.

The manager at this location is very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The premises are clean and well-maintained. The building housing the climate controlled storage units appears to be more sturdy, with higher ceilings, than similar storage facilities in the same area. We are in the process of moving to Public Storage from another storage facility (climate controlled unit) in this area that has/had serious roof issues which caused major water damage and mold/mildew damage to our personal property. The roof damage wasn't going to be repaired for at least 5 days from the date it was discovered. This is a long time to have your personal property exposed to daily torrential rains. Also, Public Storage is considerably less expensive for the exact same size storage unit than the facility we're moving out of. Overall, we're extremely pleased with Public Storage and highly recommend them to anyone needing storage in this area.

BeWare!!!! They will tell you, you MUST purchase their storage insurance ....you do not...it can be easily declined...but Pat had me check my Geico policy and then come back to the store to say that I am covered under homeowners insurance ....when I came back one hour later to cancel the policy, he canceled the policy. HOWEVER!! I asked when will I be refunded? He called I think his manager, she stated there is no refunding the insurance payment ....WOW!! They will fleece you if you’re not savvy. I stated this is a contract I have the right to cancel....mind you this is all happening within a 1 to 2 hour span of time. Pat called the District Manager to ask how to cancel the contract...he also explained the issue with the insurance, (btw it was Pat who used language that made it appear that you are mandated to purchase Public Storage insurance.) The District Manager stated he could credit me the insurance amount toward my next monthly storage bill. I said ok, the storage is close to my home and I never had any problems any other Public Storage. I made sure I received documentation from Pat stating the credit that I will be receiving. I’m writing this review because I truly feel it was purposeful that Pat stated that I had to buy the insurance. I just want to warn others so that you will not be fleeced and to tell you that you do have recourse if they try to pull this on you!

Renting units and explanations were excellent from Bonnie. She was very informative and tremendous help. She has an excellent disposition and very helpful !!! She transferred to another site now and Pat took over and he too was very helpful and pleasant as I checked out of my units last weekend. That helpfulness is what business growth is all about, wishing them all the very best.

I didn't have any problem with staff in this place. They were really professional. But the reason for 1 star rate is they did not refund my money back! I was a customer for more than 2 years and when it was time to close my account they refuse to send the money in my name. It was almost U$200! I agree my case is a special one but come on! It's in scenarios like this that you see the real face of a company. I would not recommend this company. Even after opening a BBB complaint they still rejected my claim. If you are thinking of doing business with them I suggest to look for another company. I wish someone had warn me before I have signed with them.

Treasure helped us today with securing our storage unit. She was knowledgeable, very friendly and genuinely interested in us and our needs. They are increasing my rental price by 30 dollars after 6 months. Apparently this is a common tactic at Public Storage.

We can't say enough good things about this location, and in particular, the manager, Cathy T., who went far and above the "norm" for customer service. We needed to downsize our unit, and Cathy was able to get a smaller unit for us, not only in the same building, but just one aisle from the old space, on the end, and right by the entrance. Wow! My husband is 82, I am almost 77, so the prospect of moving heavy containers between locations in different buildings was daunting. Thanks to Cathy, we got it done in one day. Everything fit perfectly in the new unit, and with multiple round trips, we got the rest of our things back home. To top it off, we are paying $100 a month less!. Clean facility, well lit, abd well managed. Take your things to this location.. you won't be sorry. Thank you Cathy!

I’ve used this public storage for the last several years, and have been very happy with it’s location, cleanliness, maintenance, and it’s helpful and friendly staff. It’s definitely the best storage unit option in the Westchase/Citrus Park area. Highly recommended! A+++++

Storage pricing for small climate controlled unit?

Great and informative.

Really poor facility. It looks ok outside, but very damp inside. mildew grows quickly, roaches everywhere. Also, according to everyone and the movers, always had roaches. next to a swamp. go figure. l Found a highly venomous copperhead snake, alvjve and well. 5 ft long, just under the roll up door. Management not phased at all. Can not reccomend at a. also. very expensive in market.

I was never told there would be a $25 increase per month after 6 months. I planned to keep my items in storage for several years. If I was made known that there would be a dramatic increase after 6 months I would have gone elsewhere. I understand a rate increase after a year but to do so after 6 months without letting the customer know up front is unacceptable. This should have been disclosed.

Kimberly was amazing, she was very helpful and very friendly and completely understandable of my issue. She was very nice as well. She was able to get my problems solved quickly. I however visited on Saturday originally and the manage on shift there that day was not very friendly and not all that helpful either, she was very rude. I was so much happier working with Kimberly yesterday.

Great staff, safe monitored storage

I have been at this place for a really long time. All the staff has been great throughout the years. The current manager, Lisa, is just as outstanding. She keeps the place clean and is always so sweet when I see her. Everyone should come see her for storage.

Kimberly was great help setting up the storage space. Have family members who have been customers here since June 2013 when Lisa helped them out. Very clean facility. Highly recommended.

I came into inquire about prices and was greeted by Judson. My mom is moving and didn't know what size or have any ideas of what she needed to pack. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. We won't need to move mom for a few months, but we will be going there for sure. Recommend due to the great service received and prices were reasonable for the units. Very clean also!

I go to many storage facilities every month and this is one of the best around. Lisa and Judson are super friendly and the property is ver clean. Cameras and lots of lighting if you come to your unit at night. 5 stars for sure.

I just rented a storage unit at this location. I was very overwhelmed with the whole moving process but Lisa made the storage part of it so easy. I've had up to 4 spaces at one time over the last 2 years, and currently have one space. This facility is very clean and extremely well managed. The manager, Lisa is very knowledgeable, really helpful, and easy to work with. Melinda is also very pleasant, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Property condition is top notch and all areas are maintained well. You can trust these folks with your worldly possessions.
