Scam. Double rates wo explanation. Zero stars. Lady is very rude and they threatened you if you are late 😒 headaches and stress don't go here. Poorly managed. Should be simple and painless.

When I went there on the first day it was all ready for me. This facility is clean, easy to navigate and well organized. The why became apparent when I met Sabrina. She is friendly and cares about the renters. Great service and very personable. I highly recommend.

Excellent customer service from Sabrina at the Public Storage location on Dale Mabry Hwy in South Tampa. The size of the storage unit meets my needs and Sabrina is very helpful walking clients through use of the Public Storage App. She also walked me through specials that were available and helped me confirm my reservation for my PCS Household Goods delivery. Sabrina is amazing! Always helpful and friendly. She helped make the transition smoothly. Any time I need to store again, I will go to the one on S Dale Mabry Hwy location. When dealing with stressful things like moving all your household items in or out of storage, it makes things easier when you have a property manager that is aware, helpful and FRIENDLY (seems like nowadays no one has those qualities).

It started out ok, but over two years multiple price increases doubled the rent. Rat droppings in unit and no food or anything that would attract them. Insulation flakes off of ceiling with the heat. Other customers bust holes in drywall. Access was fine, no issues with payment clerk was helpful.

Sabrina was so helpful and literally the best!! She helped me with so much when it came to needing extra space.

Anaís was fantastic! She had all the answers I needed for my move and got me setup in a great unit. Thanks!

Sabrina is Amazing!! (She was helping my husband and I get our account set up for the Public Storage 2 miles down the road where we rented from since the manager at that location was unavailable). Sabrina explained things well and was very helpful! She said if I needed anything, just give her a call. I got to the other Public Storage location to try my door code and it didn’t work. I called Sabrina, she came over to fix the door & then my door code worked. (The door latch was flipped up). She truly was helpful and made our move a lot better by being efficient, helpful, and friendly!! Sabrina needs a raise!:) Public Storage would be fortunate to keep her as a manager.

Setting up the account online was a bit of a hassle due to incorrect selection of storage unit/location but Sabrina at S. Dale Mabry and also Maria, District Manager, were both very helpful in addressing and helping me correct. My stuff was infested with cockroaches, this was my first time renting a unit so I don’t know if this is normal but there were cockroach eggs in every box I had. (No I did not store consumables) Very good customer service and great access, just make sure u seal up everything if u store here.

Just recently rented a unit from here. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable and made sure I was well taken care of. The units as well as the grounds themselves were well taken care of also. I highly recommend renting from the facility on S Dale Mabry tho I haven't been to any other locations. A pet pieve of mine is false advertising, so imagine my disgust when my $1 first month turned into $70something...first they force you to buy a $20 lock that is customized for their units that you will never be able to use anywhere else... then they charge you a one time $24 "administration fee", then they charge you the mandatory $15 a month insurance, and then they talk you into buying this little bucket that pulls the moisture out of the air to try to combat mold and mildew getting into your stuff, because none of their units are climate controlled...I would be ok with their establishment if they didn't imply you would leave their office having paid ONE DOLLAR, and insulting my intelligence with BS "specials

Alexis was so amazing! She answered all of my question and made sure I had exactly what I needed. I called several other businesses and no one even came close to the excellent customer service I received today!

This is a great value for your money. I decided to sacrifice a climate controlled storage for a larger storage space. I’m pleased with the safety and security of my things. Their staff takes it seriously. It’s been a long hot summer so I haven’t spent much time there yet. Things to consider... The positives are: 1) main floor small storage space is disabled friendly, thank you! The others I considered expected me to climb their stairs with my boxes (like the mobile ones at Home Depot) and that’s too dangerous for someone disabled as I am. 2) The price is reasonable. 3) The buildings are well constructed. The negatives are... 1) There’s no light inside the unit. 2) The hallway where my storage is located is a fall risk. I asked for assistance from the onsite manager and she said to notify corporate. Corporate did not reply or repair the hall to make it safer since I initially requested assistance 3 months ago. I am disabled and I have fallen 3 times so far. Thankfully my injuries are minor. I’m not the type of person who wants a lawsuit but if anyone gets really hurt? They’ve been warned.

Most clean property I've ever seen Alexis is so helpful always has a smile on her face you can even tell when she's on the phone she really cares about her property and about her customers she takes pride in what she does highly recommend this location to anyone if I could rate higher than 5 I would

I've used this location twice so far and have had no issues. The staff is courteous and helpful. Whenever I have an issue they are quick to help resolve it. My stuff was stored in a dry place and had no issues with bugs or pests. The staff always keeps my stuff safe as well. Security and safety are their main focus and I appreciate that.

Update: Betsy (district manager) gave me a call and helped me sort out other issues Alexis was very nice but didn't really explain where all the prices were coming from. Not a direct reflection on him but on Public Storage itself. Being new to this specific storage facility, I would have appreciated a detailed breakdown of how their $1 first month rent skyrocketed to a total of $68 with the purchase of $15 insurance and a key which I wasn't told how much cost.

This particular property definitely has different storage sizes available and the manager, Alexis, also advised me how to save by going online, which I did. They also make several attempts to remind you of your payments due which, to me, means they are not trying to trap you for more fees. I've stayed there for about a year now, even though there are several other storage companies, less expensive, in very close proximity. It's safe, secure and for whatever reason, Alexis is always...like always...smiling. Big brand, small feel.

Terrible customer service. When my wife rated it low, I received call from district manager. This call was not about the service, didn’t want to know about our concerns with the unannounced drastic rate increase, or the problems we encountered with her staff. All the call was about was the low rating on google reviews. Here’s another one.

At least twice, the door is open. Not secure. Impossibile to get anyone on the phone. Terrible customer service. Not recommended. Also, very unfriendly and INCREASED our rate to $17O/month — which is over $40 more than we signed up for. We asked for a military discount and we told they “have not had a military rate for 15 years” — horrible. Go anywhere else. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The only thing I really have positive to say is the units were clean. The advertisement of you get you having a promotion have a Dollar rent for a month that is an absolute lie by the time you're done paying for your locked your insurance your rent for unit this supposed to be $38 a month it's now 56 but don't forget about that $1 promotional fee. That should have been $24 for administrative fee and then $1 rent totaling $25 I ended up paying almost 90 what a crock

The staff at this Public Storage are terrific. They explain the renting terms clearly. The grounds are always kept clean. Considering all the bad thunderstorms, the electronic gate works about 98 % of the time. That is amazing. Alexis (the manager) is always very cheerful. Everything I own was ruined by water damage and black mold, and has cockroach infestation everything that I own is no good and needs to be thrown away.

Consistently raise rents for their most loyal customers. The longer you're there the more you pay. Just updated the property which was nice, since we, the tenants, evidently paid for it. Not being able to enter the property after 9 is also a bit of a hassle.

Julianna was so helpful and really pleasant to work with. Moving on Memorial Day is not fun - especially in the Florida sun. I assume working on Memorial Day is even less fun. She made the experience easy and fun- took us to different units until we found the size we needed and we laughed a lot together during check out. Alexis and April are two of the bestate employees. No matter what questions or issue I have had they take care of it right away. The women in the office were extremely helpful with any questions that I had! They followed up before and after the move-in process to ensure that everything went well. The campus itself is smaller and secure and the tour covered all security steps that they take to make sure all of your things are secure. Overall, it has been a great experience!

I rented a space the other day, the young lady working here Alexis, was very knowledgeable, understanding, and a pleasure to rent from. She was very knowledgeable on her storage facility as well as her products. I am very satisfied with this business transaction and appreciate the kind helping generosity that Alexis provided. Michie is an amazing property manager she made my experience here amazing.. She's so bright and outgoing and her personality made my day. I came in having a horrible day and she brighten up my day..she's easy to talk to and very personable.. I would recommend everyone here to come and see her

Our experience with michie at the public storage area here on South Dale Mabry was absolutely wonderful and she was the biggest help ever on our initial visit here and we would just like to give her kudos for being professional and truly taking care of us the way that we expected and we would like for her to get recognition for this because we think that she was awesome and that she deserves a good review she was very acomadatiing you have a great employee louise and Ken .

My experience was Great ! I had Monica as my agent. She was very friendly and very patient. She made sure that my lock and security code worked to enter the location. She went over the rental contract very carefully. The property was clean. The only thing I am concerned with the security of the lock latches on some of the units . They do not look as secure as I would like. But I took them up on the Insurance . I pray I do not need it.

The staff was super-nice. Brad, who was filling in for the regular manager, helped me on the first day and when I had to get a bigger storage space the next day, the regular manager (forgot his name) was very accommodating. The storage units were a bit on the older side and I did notice some mold in one of the hallways. All in all though, it was a great experience.

Great experience at Public Storage. Brad was helpful, as he walked me directly to my unit and thoroughly showed me how to lock and make sure my unit would be secure. Property seems safe and on lockdown. The gate is easy to access once you are given your unique gate code. would definitely recommend this public storage to others

excellent facility much better than the other mom and pop places around here access to the facility is very easy for large trailers and convenient to the crosstown and airforce base.i would recommend this facility over all others.
