I am a LYFT driver and I got stuck inside because I didn't have the code. Thankfully someone was leaving and let me out but I don't trust this company as a Lyft driver.

Highly would not recommend. I came to move out of my unit that I have had for 1 month to find rat droppings on all of my products and my family and belongings. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. I am currently pregnant and cannot afford to get sick from any disease from rodent waste. I honestly just want to leave it all here just so I don't have to touch or expose myself to any airborne pathogens that is common with rodent urine. Pest control should be one of the storage facilities number one priorities aside from keeping our items safe from theft. I am absolutely outraged and discussed.

I came into the Public Storage on 56th St today with full intentions to rent, and honestly, I left unsatisfied. This was not a reflection on the customer service; what I was searching for just couldn’t be found. I was in need of a 24hr unit within a mile of where I stay (and of course for a good price). Although they could not find me what I needed. Misty and Darius did everything in their power to accommodate my needs. 5 STARS!!!! Need more workers like them.

Misty took great care of me for two years
Was told our deadline for payment was July 1st. Have voicemail stating this fact. Our stuff was auctioned off at 12 AM. Midnight June 27th according to the staff on duty. The phone app says still able to make a payment. And actually shows a cash payment was made the 27th. We've never paid cash. Something is going on here, they're preying on people who are down and out. I believe they take people things who they believe aren't going to pay. I wouldn't go within 1000 feet of this location.

Horrible! I had my sofas and entertainment center stored here along with some boxes of clothes and pictures. Everything was neat the sofas were covered and the entertainment center was wrapped. When I went to retrieve my items there was rat droppings everywhere and I found a dead rat in my sofa!

Had my storage here for 2 years. Only got upset with them once for not notifying me that my lock had to be replaced and forced me to buy theirs. Grounds are clean, storage staff friendly (Misty is great) and fees are decent.

Ever since my bad review misty comes treat me with any respect. First time I wrote a good review it was because she insisted and told me it would look good for the store. Based on my last two visits I'm glad I took the good review back and made sure to write a new one. She insulted me calling me a child and told me I don't matter. Even if this is a public storage, Have the common decency to care about your customers and not just put someone who needa a paycheck behind a computer.
One day late with rent and you get a phone call, and email. When you tell them when you can pay, you get another call on that day. You constantly get threatened with public auctions of your property being seized. It is too expensive what they charge for a unit to begin with, plus a late fee of $20. So glad I no longer deal with them.

Awesome place to store all your extras. This place is at the top of a hill and there's no way it'll flood out in a hurricane! Just don't get stuck inside after 9pm, the cops have to let you out O.o

Misty runs the office most days and she is absolutely incredible. I moved to Tampa from Ohio and with a moving truck it was really important to have timely access to my storage unit. Luckily I chose this place and Misty was there to help me get everything organized in just enough time. She went above and beyond and let me leave my Uhaul trailer behind the gate overnight until I was able to return it the next day. If it weren't for Misty I would have been screwed because I was unable to park the trailer in my apartment complex. She really came through for me and every time I have visited since then she has been there with a smile and helpful service as needed. I highly recommend this storage facility, the location is perfect, close to USF; and the customer service is unbeatable.

This place was anything but secure. They force unilateral locks on customers and use a gate that allows tailgating. Anyone with an old key could come and get into your stuff. After coming in with my own lock I was told I had the wrong lock and in order to store my goods I needed to buy their specific lock. I had a level 7 carbide master lock which was less sufficient than theirs for some reason. So I bought their lock and after going through the paper work the staff proceeded to push overpriced boxes and dehumidifier on us. After coming back I checked the wrong space by accident and the key worked. I came across other spaces that also opened and changed my lock immediately. I was reimbursed for my lock.
DO NOT BUY THE LOCKS SUPPLIED AT THE OFFICE. THE KEYS CAN AND WILL OPEN OTHER STORAGE UNITS. When i went to the manager she told me it was common. Secure your unit with your own lock!

Misty and the girls at this public storage were the best! She was very helpful in my recent move in last week. She talked to me about all my options, walked me to the unit to make sure it was the right size for our stuff. Gave us a good idea about the moisture buckets to prevent damage to our furniture. This team is all about customer service, and I am in the business and appreciate it when I see it. At the end of moving in, we asked them where to go eat and they gave us a great recommendation down the street. We even asked to throw out our vacuum in their garbage container, but in the end we gave it to them for their office!

not great, in fact horrible, it seems that all the reviews are misleading and talk about one person in high regard "misty the manager", maybe she writing them, this place has significant security issues, also I set up my account to pay on auto pay ( routing and account #) and "somehow the system did not work" guess what there is $25 added charge, (currently disputed) I called my bank and they verified it to be correct it seems that this is how this Public Storage franchise generates additional revenue. Don't trust them it seems shady.

I’ve been a long term storage unit renter at the Public Storage North 56th Street location for nearly a year. The customer service and care provided by the staff (Missy, Grace and others) has been exceptional. The 2014 and 2015 calendar year(s) were transitional periods for me and the family. We’ve had to make a few moves that required either an upgrade or downsize in storage unit. The units are nice and clean. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The property is very safe. I lost some business cards for my pure romance business and they were more than happy to to help me. I recommend this place if you're looking for a temporary storage facility

Misty & Grace has always been very professional and curtious. They go far and beyond their duties to help customers. I almost lost everything in my storage they did everything in their power to help me. Thanks to them I was able to save everything I had in storage. I recommend Public Storage on 56th Street to everyone due to how these ladys provide accurate and professional service. We need more people like them in this world. Great experience with top notch staff… Well managed team, always helpful and polite! Details mean a lot… when I used the facility bathroom the toilet paper was overstocked, and believe it or not endless paper towels. I recently went to this location and Freddy was very nice and helped my mom and I.. They have good service and they are quick. I really recommend this location. They speak Spanish too so that was very helpful because my mom does not speak English.

I visited public storage on tuesday 2/25, the service was great, Rachel was fantastic. She was friendly and courteous.
Public storage is central located to near dining , gas stations and banks, the customer relationship is great , they go out of there way to make sure you are happy before you sign, with security gate and cameras my wife and I both are secure when we work on are units , from small to big units we have been able to store all our items a two thumbs up from us dlspall
