This is a terrible Storage facility. Jim is outrageously disrespectful and rude to everyone I have seen him deal with in just a short span of 3 days. He harassed me when I emailed notice of moving out. This place has no control temperature as I was told for inside units and I have also never have seen anything in my entire life so roach infested as this place. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS STORAGE SPACE!

The best thing about this place are the people working there. James, Bob, Brian, and Valarie are great. They are friendly and professional. Going there is a pleasure. I have 2 cars that are 50 years old stored there. I feel that the cars are safe. The units have wide roads between units. It makes gettin in and out of units easy.All in all, I highly recommend the place. Made another trip yesterday. Jim is always professional and interesting to talk to, but today Jasmye helped me . We are going out of country for a couple of years so we were looking for a good storage unit. I found a 4x6 Public Storage on their website. The unit was in Tarpon Springs, and had really good reviews. It seemed perfect for our use. I reserved it online on March 6th and followed all the steps as suggested; but for some reason, the site rejected all forms of payment. However, I received an email that had a reservation number, a move in date, and the due amount. The next morning I received a phone call from Public Storage, who confirmed my reservation for a 4x6 climate controlled unit and asked me to pay. I told him my issue and that I would pay upon arrival. Today on March 8th, we loaded our car full of stuff and went to the unit. It did not turn out as we hoped. First of all, the guy on the reception was totally rude and did not know how to welcome customers. Secondly he said, “I have no idea which reservation you’re talking about. I don’t have anything in my system.” I told him I had an email, a text, and I received phone call confirmation. He said, “ I have no idea who called you and why.” I told him, “no need to be rude, I have a proof I booked a unit here.” Then he said, “oh okay, we are giving you a 5x5 unit.” I informed him that size would not fit one of my boxes. The answer: “I don’t know why somebody called you about a 4 x6.” And stared at his computer without a hint of sympathy of my situation nor any interest in looking at the confirmation email or text. His casual indifference and total lack of surprise left me almost certain this sort of thing happens all the time. So does a reservation with Public Storage have any value at all?

I'm at the suite f j j p nails I just want you to know that I really love my unit just signed a 3-year lease and I just didn't really enjoy being here and Jim is an awesome manager. Come to public storage for all of your public storage needs.

Within minutes of making an online reservation, Jim reached out to me and when I asked if I could view the unit first, he encouraged me to stop by anytime. I decided to take the one I'd reserved. Jim had me checked out with all of the paperwork, information, access, and app setup in a matter of minutes. Super efficient and super attitude! Thanks, Jim!

Horrible company with fraudulent contract practices. I made online arrangements for a 10’x35’ parking space for my 21’ boat. My rental began on 11/15/21 however I was not yet in town until 11/26/21, upon bringing my boat to the property I informed the manager the space(on map) I was reserved was not vacant, the manager then drove texted me to a significantly smaller space (approx. 9’x25’) than the 10’x35’ I reserved in my contract, I informed the manager of this as he showed me the site, he gave me no opportunity have a correctly sized space nor made any attempts to find any as he stated this was the last parking space he had. After this I began attempts to find a storage space elsewhere that I could get the size space for which I paid. Upon finding a space with Extra Storage, Pinellas park; I advised Public Storage I would be canceling my storage rental and I was informed these crooks would neither refund nor prorate any of my rental fees despite their failure and refusal to comply the contract obligations, they then point to this contract that states I had a chance to measure and approve space before signing agreement which was absolutely false as I completed this contract online. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES!!! They lie about the storage space size and then hold you liable for their incompetent reservation system. The property at this location is also extremely outdated, and appears to have minimal if any video monitoring at all! I have more visible cameras around my house than can be seen around this facility! Also all sorts of trees overhanging many of the outdoor spaces dropping pineneedles and seed pods onto vehicles, RV’s, ect. in this facility, obviously management isn’t concerned with appearing clean, secure, updated, or correctly manage this facility or even trimming trees, they’ll take your money though!

It has been easy and very efficient service. I did everything online it has been the best experience. Clean property and unit. Manager is nice & easy to work with it been great so far.

Unfortunately the AC has been broken since 7/28 and as of today, no one has been able to provide a solution on this matter. Not even the Property Manager on Site today (8/9-Pat) has a answer from his District Manager. In the meantime, all of our belongings that are temperature sensitive are at risk. The manager Jim is accomodating, but be warned on the pricing. I've been renting the outdoor parking space for a few years now. Rates have almost doubled since I started. Every year corporate hikes it up. So much for rewarding the easy going, auto-pay customer, who's never been late with rent. The facility is probably fine for short term rentals, just be warned on the annual price hikes.

This is my first experience with renting a storage space. Bryan was so helpful! He showed me the unit I had reserved online & gave me suggestions on placement of my items & the good security they have. Back in the office he showed me all the useful supplies I could purchase right there, & I did get some things. We went over the contract thoroughly & he explained a lot & answered any questions I had. A sign said I'd be entered into a contest if I chose to do Auto-pay & I decided that was the best way to go anyway. We checked that my code was working properly & I left quite satisfied to come back soon to start loading up My Space. :-)

Also thank you to Chelsea for taking the time to show me around and recommending the right unit for my needs in a climate and humidity controlled unit with easy access and plenty of storage for a great monthly price. Clean facilities both and excellent customer service.

RIP OFF. I rented a unit for less than one month and paid the amount in full. When I checked out they tried to bill me an additional $43. I questioned the bill and the attendant said it was a mistake, he would take care of it in the morning . A month later I get a letter from a debt collector attempting to settle for $21.00 I am going to file a complaint with the BBB for fraudulent practices.

Excellent customer service! Jim was very helpful when we got our unit and 3 years later remembers us when we went in to finalize our last month with him. Property is always kept clean and we never had any issues. Highly recommend!!

Moving is such a hassle and can be very emotional. I arrived with my truck at just past 6:00 as Jim was locking up. I rent an office space in front of the storage units and LOVE my office. The rent amt is fair and the location is unbeatable. Ever since I moved to this location my business has increased 35% due to visibility. The units are really well taken care of and the parking lot is professionally maintained every week. We even get to add signage to road sign for free! The staff at the Public Storage Office especially Jim is always greeting tenants and visitors with a big smile and positive compliment. Jim is super helpful with tenants whom have questions regarding any issues with their office's. I will be a long time occupant of Public Storage office space.
