I have just rented a storage room here after talking with Brittany. She is fantastic, so calm, patient, answering all the questions and was so clear about everything. I really appreciated dealing with her, after my move has hit so many road blocks.

A few months ago I came to P.S. and Manny was very helpful. A few months later, I purchased, with Manny's help different size boxes, bubble wrap and tape. Manny helped me pick the perfect boxes without complaining. That is the kind of customer service that every business should have. You are lucky to have him. An honorable mention goes out to Yvette. The place is a scam! A few months after you move in they will suddenly increase your monthly rent. Then they will do it again about 8 months later. Customer service is terrible. I will move as soon as i get back from overseas.

My credit card on file had gone over its limit before my autopay for Public Storage kicked in. No problem. They called me, I drove to this location, and paid what I owed. The problem came AFTER when apparently the idiot who helped me shut off my autopay. The next month wasn't paid at all--NO ONE contacted me until I owed a late fee. I was completely confused as to why autopay hadn't gone through, and they explained I "never had autopay on". Right, except for the every month for the previous 4 years. An employee sent a refund request to the "district manager" to reimburse me for this ridiculous overcharge. The district manager rejected my request, so now because of an idiot employee and a completely unsympathetic manager, I'm forced to pay extra due to no fault of my own. 1 star. You people are garbage.

My friend told me about this place. I was skeptical about storing here but when I came in. Martin, the manager, was professional. Ask me what I was storing and told me about the deals they have. Walked past public storage and was wondering if my two bedroom can be store there. I came in the store and Martin smiled and ask me how can I help him. He was very friendly. He ask me what I was storing, I explained to him I want to store 2 bedroom temporarily and he than showed me a space that would be perfect for me. I had a wonderful sales men his named Martin Abdoh He gave me a tour and showed me the different space sizes and when I had more questions he answered all my questions It was a amazing experience. He asked me what was I going to store and I answered him and he kindly tell me what spaces is best for me. He was very kind and seemed like he was trying to get me the best deal. He also recommend me the need for boxes and wrap and etc to make the move in easier. He was very courteous when talking to me. He was very professional and educated me a lot on the importance of the storage space and what boxes needed for my things that I had no idea about. It was great, the store was great, and he was great. Thank you for all your help. Definitely recommend this storage location to anyone in need for one. I really have to tip my hat to Martin, he was great!!!! I myself am from a retail management background, and I was very impressed and satisfied with Martin's customer service. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and accomadating. I highly recommend this establishment.

It is only the second time I have had to write a review. This is by far the worst experience I have ever dealt with and I advise that unless you want roaches all over your items and mold/fungus on your belongings to stay away. I lost $15k of nice furniture while my new place was under construction because I trusted this to be a clean well taken care of place. I was wrong. The manager admitted fault but that meant nothing to cooperate and not only were rude and unsympathetic. I had to leave my items behind because they were destroyed and because insurance required an inspection and what does public storage do... they send me to collections after refusing to pay for the month after finding my items destroyed. They dont call back and just dont care. Plenty of other companies out there, do not use these crooks.

Smiling ear to ear doesn't even begin to describe it. More like ear to sky! I was so inspired that when I got home, I told my entire family that I loved them (even my hamsters! What??) Anyway thanks. It really meant a lot.

NIGHTMARE. The staff was aware that the floor where our items were stored reeked of mothballs. Mothballs are a pesticide and should never be inhaled. Some people have the antiquated idea that mothballs prevent bugs. We complained, but were told nothing could be done. So, when we removed our items after 6 months ALL of our "stuff" was permeated with the stench of mothballs--Including approximately 20 plastic tubs, which, to this day smell. The contents of the tubs were saturated, as well. We spent over $400 at Barry Regent to fumigate clothes. The useless Property Manager, Megan Arquette, told us to use our homeowners insurance to cover the damage. MAYBE, storing mothballs in a storage unit should not be allowed.

I had an excellent customer service experience at the Public Storage on Wells Street. I bought a whole bunch of boxes, and Pina helped me lift all of them and load them into my car. Super nice and super helpful. We needed a bigger unit and the woman who helped us took care of the change very quickly. We then needed a bit more room and she helped us get another small unit for the rest of the stuff. They call you the day before to confirm your arrival time and greet you by name when you arrive. Place is very very secure and kept nice and clean. The loading dock fits a large moving truck instead. Highly recommend.

I recently had to store a couple of pieces of furniture for a while and used the Public Storage facility at 1129 N. Wells St., in Chicago. Everyone I encountered there was helpful and polite and the facility is clean and safe. I would especially like to commend Ivan, the manager, who is responsible for this well run operation.

I have been a renter since January 2014. The place is clean, well lit and well managed, thanks to Ivan who is always there to help with smile. The only bad thing I encountered was the sudden drastic, big, large, ....increase in the monthly rent after the first 6 months. Be ware of the small print in the contract before signing. But anyway THANKS IVAN for your friendly service that overcame the bad experience of the rent increase.

I had a great experience with Public Storage this week! I reserved a unit on Monday night after finding out that the location I had planned on storing my things was no longer available. After reserving the unit using the online system I received a call from Kim within minutes confirming the information I had provided and asking what time the next day would be best for me to come in. She was very friendly on the phone and answered all of the questions I had, making me feel confident that I had made a good choice even before arriving at the facility. When I got to the location I met Kim in person, and, together with Martin, she walked me through the whole rental process. Martin asked me a series of questions to make sure I had selected an appropriate-sized unit and then he took me upstairs to view the space. I had originally selected a 5'x10' unit, but once I saw the space I wasn't sure all of my belongings would fit. Once I got back down to the office Kim walked me through all of the other options available for larger units, and I finally settled on a 10'x15' unit that was running a "$1 first month rent" special. Through the entire rental process Kim and Martin were both professional and friendly. After deciding on the larger unit Martin took me to see it and helped me to install the lock I rented. I told him I would be back later in the evening to begin moving, and so Martin offered to leave me a moving dolly to help make the move easier. When I returned later in the evening the dolly was where Martin said he would leave it, and I was able to move all of my belongings into the space in a very short amount of time. Overall I am very happy with my decision to rent from Public Storage, and the main reason I feel this way is because of the customer service provided by both Kim and Martin. There are many rental options available around the city, and I am very glad that I chose the one that I did. I would definitely recommend Public Storage to anyone looking for an affordable, spacious, convenient, and friendly location to store their belongings. Thanks again, Kim and Martin!

I arrived about one minute before close and Marie was extremely accommodating and made sure I was able to secure my unit before they closed for the day. Very convenient, yet not secure or cheap. We had our unit broken into and items stolen. I would consider a more secure facility, with more reasonable prices.
