North Lawndale Storage Units Near Route 50
Public Storage in North Lawndale is a convenient self storage location on the West Side of Chicago, right off of Cicero Avenue.
Easy access from Stevenson Expressway, I-290 and U.S. 66 makes this a quick storage stop for customers throughout the Lawndale area, as well as Cicero, Oak Park and Berwyn.
Trips out to nearby Douglas Park are a breeze when keeping all of the necessary outdoor items in a 5x5 storage unit at this location.
Businesses along Ogden Avenue can use a 10x15 storage unit to keep supplies, equipment, paperwork and inventory near the office, while families living along near Little Village and South Lawndale or near Farragut Academy can use a 10x30 storage unit to keep everything in one place ahead of a move across town.

I had the greatest experience at this public storage location. Jessie really helped me get the storage unit that was right for me. I was a little disappointed that the unit I reserved was not available but he went above and beyond to help me find something that suited my needs I greatly appreciate his service and work ethics with putting people first.
Great and reasonable prices not a bad place to store things.
The hours of the facility are very inconvenient if you work a typical day. The whole center shuts down by 6pm on weekdays and 5pm on weekends. It's impossible to get there on weekdays and earlier close on weekends makes no sense. Also, be aware that Public Storage will bring you in with a teaser low rate and then after you get all of your things in the storage locker, they will raise the rental rate. My rate went up by 50% in one jump. Fifty percent is a huge price jump. I'm out after I get treated like that. Also, every time I go there it smells like poop. Don't store fabrics/clothes here. They will soon stink.

I purchase the 8x9 unit online for furniture that couldn’t fit in my apartment. When I came in, Laquisha, was very friendly and helpful. She took me to see three other storage units just to ensure my furniture will fit. She explained the whole process including the prices. At the end, she made sure my gate code worked before I left and she wrote everything down on the card for me. I would recommend this place to my friends and family and would definitely recommend them to seek Laquisha for help.

If you want bed bugs and rodents in your unit please do not store at this location! My mother had a unit at this location. I could not believe she rented a unit at this place. The building is dirty smells dirty! I made my mother throw out a lot of her belongings due to the condition of this place. I was not bringing my moms items into my house. One more thing after reading the fine print of my mother lease she was not required to have insurance on her rental space if you read the fine print it tells you that. Don’t let these people fool you! PUBLIC GARBAGE! Is what it should be called.

When I came to get my stuff back also, they were about to go to a business meeting, and we had to run back and forth to figure out how we were going to get me inside the building, etc. Kind of weird, but I guess it was only for me. I have been renting here for a few months. It is a decent area and customer service has been pleasant but the only issue I have with the area is the there are rodents. There has been a few times that I went to my unit to get or store a few things and saw a mouse scatter. There has also been droppings in my cubicle. To say the least, I am not happy about this especially since I am paying money each month and now I have to worry about rodents as well. Other than the mouse problem, everything else is good.

I'm giving them 4 stars because of the location and the facilities. Poor Darlene had to bring me and my boyfriend to a good 3-4 units before we found one that worked. The first storage locker the locking mechanism was bent in, the second one Darlene didn't even have the key to, (apparently "Jessie" had put them on not really her fault) the third was a locker that had been auctioned away and had a different lock on it. Finally we make it to one (after I said to hell with it and just find the next one up) that she did have a lock to and wasn't bent, and we were in luck it had the type of lock I already had on hand, the others took padlocks, (so maybe that was someone up there looking out for me). So it all worked out for us and the customer service Thair and Darlene gave us was exceptional! So don't go if you're rather impatient and aren't used to being around the ghetto. I'm sure if we had went to two more wrong lockers we woulda just said screw it. THANKS! :)

I can honestly say that the service that i receive from Jesse & LaTasha at this Public Storage location is very professional and courteous. I appreciate the way I was treated and how all of the rules were explained to me when i aquired my unit. The calls about my unit when it gets past due are good when i forget to pay. Overall, I would definitely suggest the usage of this location to my friends and family.

I have been a customer since 2008. I have always been greeted in a friendly and timely manner. I receive courtesy calls from Jessie and he and Nick are always helpful. They are knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. Whenever I come to my unit, they are always smiling and immediately ask if I need help.
