Worse place ever. They rice the price almost every month and if you miss a payment, they cut your lock and made you replace it but after paying a lot on extra fees. NO RECOMENDED. GET OTHER STORAGE.

Today my unit was flooded and although this is not a 5 star event the help from manager Jeanine was! She found us a better unit in the center of the building (the replacement unit also seems visually to be a tad bigger). She even helped with soaked paper boxes.

With so many people out of work, and others overworked, I have found it difficult to find individuals who still take pride in their profession. After completing my application for a unit on-line and experiencing difficulty in negotiating the site to retrieve important copies of documents I needed, I headed directly for the storage site. I was welcomed by two pleasant faces willing to assist me step by step through the process. Jeanine was exemplary in her patience in answering the many questions I bombarded her with - even when I asked them numerous times, offering me the opportunity to call her if I had any additional questions. She located and printed out the documents I needed upon request. She made me feel that I had made the right choice in choosing her facility. Ozlem was great at helping me locate my unit. She escorted me to the unit and took time to familiarize me with how to open and close the unit, exhibiting a great deal of patience. A task I found quite daunting. The office, the facility, and my personal unit was clean of any debris - which was truly a welcomed addition. I recommend this located to anyone.

Raises my rent here twice in the span of six months to almost double with no heads up even.

So the most unexpected thing happened to me. After storing my stuff at this storage unit for two weeks some how some way my storage unit got broken into and all my stuff was taken. Look what they left me with 4-5 pieces of clothes and my bed along with box spring. I don’t even know if we should call it broken into because my lock was still attach. Really seems like they have a whole inside scheme operation going on with new tenants. Keep in mind my lock was purchased from them. Let me tell you that I had easily 4500$ in things. My whole gaming set-up worth about 3K. Xbox series X gaming curved monitors 55 inch tv and just so much more goodies when it comes to electronics. A big box full Of retro Jordans easily worth 1600$ Keep in mind I was leaving my stuff at the storage facility until I found a new apartment so you could only imagine how much this effected me. They even took all my clothes. Petty. I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes when I walked in my unit. Like how, how in the world if my lock is still intact. Simply I feel like the people inside working are in on it cause there’s just no way. And then there’s no cameras in the hallways were units are. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to Store their things here. Especially if you have valuable electronics. Yes I filed a police report yes I filed the insurance claim but now I’m waiting for the insurance to contact me I will keep you guys posted but I’m sure they will not reimburse me everything.

We pay a lot of money to rent the unit at this location, the service got much worse recently, can’t reach anyone via a phone/ tried many times, and also they have never cleaned entry and territory from the snow.

Storing my things there resulted in a lot of it being destroyed from moisture. Like my dresser and many clothes. If you have something that isn't water proof, don't store it there.

It was a sunday morning I have a space with this property and I have 24 hour access needed to get into my property but the gates would not let me in I called the property no one answered but to my amazement after only about 2 or 3 minutes the manager came down and opened the gates for me. That's what I call great service . Hands down by far the one of the best if not the best manager for this location . I wan to say thank you for your prompt solution to my problem. Spoke too soon. Carolyn played like she was going to take care of me, told me that the first month is free, then asked me to write a review before I paid, so I did. Then I go to pay and its 70 something dollars. Straight up lied. Scam fake promotion , supposed to be 1 dollar for the first month. Don't go here. The storage on Austin and Dickens is 6 dollars for first month, I just got my stuff out and went there.

(2016) Always hoped to never need to rent a storage unit....but this was a good experience. Easy access, clean unit. Friendly and efficient help by Todd. (2019) Had to rent again, and no question where we'd go. Again, excellent service. Above and beyond what was required. Friendly, very efficient....the kind of service that is expected but hardly ever realized. I wish I could add another star!!! Once again, Todd and Katy shined.

It's winter. The entrance is on a small hill. I was trying got get in today but can't make it. All the way to the gate covered with ice under the snow. The person who takes care of it should be fired. I'm very disappointed. You just lost the costumer.

Thereble place, manager is rude and I think high very often, office is always closed even during office hours. I'm 4 months with them right now...., this place is disaster. Avoid..., last update from yesterday - 5 days after snow fall: gate remains open and driveway is not plowed?!

What are the rates after the first month ?

Todd made the whole process very easy from showing different options available, to providing equipment to move in, to checking us out when we no longer needed the storage space. The facilities are well lead and they are CLEAN. Cleanness was the hook to choose this site.

Drunk and crazy customer service by name Tod verbally and mentally abused me , his co-worker was amused by the situation .Main storage building without electric power for over 3 days and nobody informed the customers .Got yelled ,screamed , nasty language just because I went to move my stuff in the storage unit I rent with them .I drove 100 miles to this place , paid people to help me, rent a van ,and left from there crying without being able to unload . Called general manager , send email but nobody bothered to get back with me about this horrible incident . Chose another place for your own good . I believe their reviews are not even half real .

The staff is nice and helpful but the facility is lacking. I had my things stored there for less than 6 months and there was mold covering everything.

Great place to get your storage! They always run a lot of different promotions. My favorite one is $1 for the first month of storage. With insurance and other fees and taxes you will be under $40 for your first month! How can you pass it? Plus really friendly manager! I got call with instructions from him 2 min after i reserved my moving time online:))

I rent a storage unit at the Grand and Harlem location. I was greeted by a woman named Emily she was very helpful and answers all my questions. Walked in the first time and get greeted by a kind man named Todd, knowing he was busy with other customers, he still took time to give me a quick tour of the clean facility. Tondelaya is very friendly & helpful. She is always available during store hours & if she does have to step away, she always returns to the office by or before the time indicated on the "be back at (time)" sign. She has even helped me carry boxes to my car! The property is neatly kept & always properly secured. I've stored things at this location & would not hesitate to do so again.

I would like to thank everyone at Public Storage located at 2351 N Harlem for an excellent job well done.
