About Park City

Park City is a small city in Illinois' Lake County, located 2 miles southwest of Waukegan and 35 miles north of downtown Chicago. The city was formed in 1958 when the owners of four trailer parks joined forces to have the area officially incorporated in an effort to block annexation from nearby Waukegan. The name Park City is a reminder of those first trailer parks that many local residents called home.
