Storage units look brand new. Shiny and clean along with the front office. This place has 24hr surveillance but is only open 930am to 6pm for the office and 6am to 9pm for the units.

My experience with this place has been a nightmare. Despite what google says (access until 9 pm.), the gates go offline and will not open right at office closing time (5 pm.). Anyone caught inside cannot get out. We had to call the police to get us out. We have had many other problems as well, including there being no one in the office during office hours consistently. This is the facility on Strawberry Ln.

The staff here was AMAZING! Super patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The entire time I rented from this location it was clean and organized, never had an issue finding equipment to help me move my things from the car to the unit, and MJ seemed to make sure no one was rude and blocked entrances and things of that sort. I had 2 issues that I caused myself, again it was my own doing, however, both ladies were on top of helping me figure it out and I was stunned. I'm sure I'm not the only one to think this but I never go places and expect good customer service anymore, the staff here blew me away.

The manager, MJ, is conscientious, professional, and courteous. The day I rented a unit, she was handling 3 properties because 2 people didn't show up for work, and she was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Don’t ever rent from this company. I am currently deployed and have a vehicle in storage there. They told me that I was locked in at 50.00 a month. On 1NOV they will have increased my rate twice to 87.00 dollars, and because I am deployed I have no option to move it. On top of that my vehicle was also broken into, do they care, not one bit. Seriously, if you know what’s best, you will never use public storage ever!

Kim at this location couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating to me. She helped me through some of the troubles I had booking online and went above and beyond to get me situated in the perfect unit for me. I would recommend this property and Kim specifically to assist with any storage and customer service needs you may have!!

My partner and I were supposed to move into a new apartment and it was NOT livable when we showed up. We found ourselves suddenly out of a home with everything we owned in a Uhaul that was overdue to be returned so we needed a storage unit ASAP. MJ was so kind and easy to talk to, showed us around a couple different options and helped us out. The place was really clean and I saw another employee going around doing lock checks on all the units. 10/10 would recommend!

MJ was the bee's knees that met all my storage needs! Got some boxes you need put up? She's got a unit for that. Got some furniture needing put away? She's got a unit for that! Got loose change? She even has pockets!

If you have an interior unit at this property you should go check it. Over past week/week & a half 12-16 units in the 600 & 700 blocks alone have been broken into by thieves damaging/cutting the aluminum along top of units then climbing above & in. Both local and corporate Public Storage is aware. The unit immediately next to mine has already been broken into. My unit was tagged with a rag throw onto the aluminum. Guess it was (is?) next up. Brought this to office’s attention yesterday. At first office was alarmed & offered to share whatever/whoever they saw on the security footage. Local office staff (3 individuals) confirmed that they do have footage, they know who/what/when but Public Storage will not be taking ANY action to increase security, to alert impacted units, to stop the party(ies) breaking into units, nor will they share information so renters can protect themselves & their belongings UNLESS renter(s) file incident reports with LMPD. What an incredible insult to renters & waste of city resources. The property has very poor security. Anyone can get in. Public Storage works hard to keep this property’s high crime rate & generally not safe tone on/at solo outside of hours onsite office is open under wraps. This latest rash of breakins is the worst since I’ve been here but very far from the first. Most do not get reported/documented because renters don’t come check on their unit AND file incident report with LMPD. If no report then Public Storage claims it didn’t happen. All of this is incredibly unfortunate especially because the 2 main local office employees, Kim & MJ, are super nice & helpful.

My experience was pretty good up until the time I moved my stuff out. I no ed it outbonbthev1dt of the month and everything was out by 1:00 pm. When my brother went in to tell Corey thatybthingsvwete out he said we owed for another month. I don't think so!!!

Absolutely recommend this location!! *To be fair, I have not used a storage facility in the past. I was not entirely sure what to expect. I chose Public Storage because they have been a long-standing business in our community (and others), and they received relatively positive reviews. I initially "booked" a unit online to get the process started through a 3rd party website comparing local options. (Word to the wise... I didn't know... those 3rd party sites don't always actually reserve the unit, so following up with the specific location is extremely important!) From the initial contact by Jordan within the hour of me requesting the unit to the actual moving-in experience... this location has been top-notch in every manner I have seen! Upon meeting Maureen (property manager) and her colleague Cody at the reservation appointment, I knew I had made a great decision about this site. Every employee I have encountered is professional, attentive, friendly, accommodating... exactly what customer-based businesses need to be! The reservation process went very smoothly, and they are taking customers' safety seriously during COVID-19 by providing an office space that addresses healthy recommendations. Customers get online access if wanted, and multiple payment options are available (in-person, online, autodraft, mail... cash, check, credit card... whatever works for diverse needs. Love it!). Rates are extremely reasonable and comparable to other local storage options. They also offer frequently needed items for purchase (again, at very reasonable/ competitive rates) right there in the office. This particular site is VERY clean, very well maintained, and user-friendly. It is centrally located and easily accessible. The organization of units is sensible and easy to find. Security cameras are utilized, and the entire facility is gated necessitating use of a security code for those entering AND leaving (may seem like a pain for some, but please know that extra step definitely increases security measures). The keypads can be easily accessed from one's vehicle without having to get out (*most vehicle models). The gate access hours are long (6am-9pm daily) but also are restricted overnight (again, for safety and maintenance reasons, I am assuming). The units are quite ample (just follow the guidelines on their website to estimate your personal needs, very helpful) and again very well kept. Hand carts (also in notably good repair) are present in the buildings to assist in navigating the halls as needed (if indoors) and to reduce overall workload for customers by combining multiple items/boxes into a single trip. There were numerous people moving in the facility that day, and the parking/driving areas are wide for easy access and passage. The moving company I utilized (obviously with much more experience than I have) commented on the cleanliness and ample door and hallway size as being one of the best they have seen as well. Long review short, this site has proven to be a great choice for my moving needs! Has the necessary components for a healthy move-in process, safety of items stored, and strong customer satisfaction emphasis I believe most would find at least acceptable.... I myself have found it exemplary. Thanks to Maureen and awesome staff for your 5-star service and facility!! :)

The propery location at 3818 Bardstown rd is always very clean, and spotless, from the hallway of the indoor storage units ,to the grounds around the outside units! I would highly recommend public storage to anyone!

This is the first time I have ever had to rent a storage facility. I initially chose Public Storage because of its location, the large variety of options and the very reasonable pricing. Public Storage called me several times prior to my move in to offer tips and answer any questions I might have. The day of my move Maureen and Lori could not have been nicer. They made my check in procedure quick and seamless. Not only were they kind, they were extremely helpful and provided additional tips to help me with my load in. I felt like I was treated more like a friend than just a customer. I highly recommend Public Storage for anyone looking for a storage unit.

Diana could not have been more helpful in our strange situation. We had initially reserved a 5'x6' unit, but the following day when the movers came with our things, it was clear we needed a 5'x10' instead. Diana was able to get us into a new unit quickly, move the locks and all of the information on the account, and get everything stored, all with us being 3 states away. Vanetta made calls ahead of time as reminders to insure a smooth transition of time. She made sure I had access to a cart for easy transition of property also.

The gate at this property has been broken twice within a three month period. This last time it has been broken for approximately 3 months and is still broke. When asked about it being fixed the extremely rude property manager stated it’s been ordered. Poor excuses. The property is being left unsecured. Rental rates go up but nothing is being done to properly secure the facility. Public Storage has violated the lease agreement.

Left a review at the wrong storing place, but Sarah N is such a nice girl and so sweet. This is the newer location and they have a lot of units here. The older one is just as nice but about a half a mile difference between this one.

I usually go to Rob's shop, but I sometimes go to this one. The people here are as nice as Rob.

I always go down the street to Rob, or to this one to pay my bill. I'm glad he's so reliable.

The security gate has been broke for at least a year now. Anyone can enter the facility at any hour. This is a safety/security concern. When I moved in I was told it would be fixed, but that was obviously a lie. I have seen multiple instances on the news where people have broken into storage units in the area.

Diana did a great job accommodating us with our transition from Georgia to Louisville Kentucky! That was 2 weeks ago. The gate has been broke for who knows HOW long! Our unit got broke into , we have YET to receive a call from corporate! Nor can you SPEAK to anyone!Not sure what kind of company this is! My 5 stars drops to zero. I would not even consider this place!

Girlfriend was moving out today and we thought it was going to be a hassle because they cut our lock, but the girl at the office was really nice and apologetic for cutting it.

We've had some issues with employees being unhelpful, but management cares about their customers and managed to make it right for us. Diana has always been nice and helpful to work with. The facility is always clean and well-maintained. Would recommend for short-term or long-term storage.

The management at this location is terrible. They do not notify you of any changes. During my stay I was 8 days late on a pmt because I was out of the country visiting my aunt who was sick. I returned and they had cut off my lock that I was told I had to purchase from them for 30$ and then I was told I had to purchase a second one. They could have just double locked my locker. After that they had some sort of vandalism on the property where the fence was damaged. They decided to change everyone's codes to get into the locker area but didnt notify anyone. I spoke several times with management and the owner and she was worthless not wanting to do anything. They just kept giving me the run around and acting like it was business as usual. Dont rent here.

Bright orange color is easy to locate. The property manager Diana is excellent. She is pleasant and cares about her job and the business she works for. She is a hard worker with a good attitude which is in short supply these days. The property is clean. The storage space is nice. The property is secure. There is no one on the from the business on the property after hours. Key board access into and out of the the facility. You have to use your own lock. The facility is outdoor. You can drive up to your storage space.

Four calls today and still no answer. They love dragging things out far longer than necessary. Not answering the phone has been a recurring theme with them along with being absent from the office. The worst storage company of the four I've dealt with by far. They were so incompetent I ended up never storing a single item in their sub par facilities. I'm about to the point of telling people in person giving bad word of mouth about their awful service. I already tried in person to close my account aside from what I allegedly owed them and yet they've added fines on top of an extra month of rent. So if your looking conned out of money, look no further. The most expensive 10 x 10 inside unit and yet no light inside the unit, where is that money going to?

Diana was very sweet, and she is always willing to help. She is always here and ready which is great when time is important. She never fails to make me smile when I cone to pay.

I love this place. Tanith (The manager I think?) is extremely cool, helpful, and easy to work with. The prices are significantly cheaper than another nearby Public Storage and this place is practically new so it's in the best shape of any around. My unit was clean and ready to be moved into. The gate was broken and Tanith told me she was going to look into it the this morning. It was already fixed when I arrived this morning! This storage facility is win!!
