Absolutely horrible staff. They neglected to tell us if we closed on the first of the month we owed the entire month, and 32 days later sent us to collection with no notice. Liars and thieves.

Worst experience ever. Tons of Mice!! And Roaches!! Elevators rarely worked, bathrooms always out of order, I don't think anyone actually works here so if you need boxes make sure you hit Walmart. They also kept charging me after I moved out, and it took months for them to fix it. All I can say is RUN to another storage place.

I am planning to move to Baltimore from NYC and am in the process of looking for a storage. I decided to check out this public storage and the customer service I received from a gentleman named Izzy was amazing. He was professional, a good listener and very patient especially since I have no idea what size storage was going to work and gave me excellent advice on packing up and how to stack my things to use the storage efficiently. I would definitely advise anyone looking for a storage to go to this facility and speak to Izzy.

Do not do business with this company. I was initially quoted $46. When I went to get the unit I was charged $57 for the rental and an additional amount for insurance. Four months later my rental was increased to $92. They stated they can increase the rent by any amount at any time.

Fraudulent charges, no one is in the office, no returned voicemails ever. Shame on you Public Storage for treating your customers this way.

The lady at the front desk was extremely unfriendly, don’t have her name. My husband and I tried to rent a unit on Sunday 2/14 around noon. A guy and kid, approx. 4 years of age, had just arrived before us and entered the office without wearing masks. We waited in the car for about ten minutes and then left and returned the next day Monday 2/15 around 1 pm. When we entered the lady at the desk told us that only one person at a time is allowed inside, despite belonging to the same household. The lady was wearing her mask below her nose. My husband asked her a couple of questions but since she was so unfriendly we drove to the Extra Space Storage around the corner and rented there.

The location is very convenient and I like that there is a gate with a code. My unit is easily accessible and so far I’ve had no issues!

We are moving out in the weeks before Christmas. We used the storage here on Russell Street for about four years. We’ve been really satisfied with their services at the front office and with the general accessibility and conditions of the storage. In addition they’ve been very helpful whenever we had a question or need something. Two times we thought we fully locked the storage area and it wasn’t fully locked- they let us know immediately. When we came here we had to use three full storage places to fit into our new city home. It’s great to know that storage places like this exist to make all this possible. Thank you.

For anyone living in the downtown Baltimore area who may be transitioning and need a temporary storage facility I highly recommend Public Storage at 1415 Russell Street/Camden-Industrial location. The team that opened my account provide a clean and secure facility; include: Dréa, Zakkiyah and Brad. Brad Neski is the District Manager of team Russell Street. I have the pleasure of Brad's acquaintance as a referral from Zakkiyah after a misunderstanding that proved to be financially challenging. Mr. Neski reached out to me regarding the incident. He diligently conducted solid research and followed-up with an amicable resolution. In closing, Brad could have stuck to a rigid corporate script but he truly cares not only about his reputation but that of the "neighborhood" image his firm represents even though he covers three states, which comprise the DMV. I truly beleive that anyone doing business with this facility can be confident your valuables are in good hands! Thanks, Brad!

This place is a nightmare. First, they tried to rent us a unit that REEKED of human urine. They let us switch to a different one but the whole building is riddled with mice. It doesn’t end there... some drunk white guy claiming to be the Regional Manager always shows up right when they’re about to lock the gate and harasses us before they even close. He says weird things like, “You can’t use any of the power outlets to charge your phone because it’s a fire hazard.” He also accused us of living out of our unit which is untrue and can be proven if they were to look at the security cameras. Clearly he can’t be bothered with facts or evidence. Do NOT rent here. Seriously, I regret not going to Cube Storage.

A mouse ran out while i was moving my items and there is plenty of my items damaged due to water damage after I paid for storage insurance every month. I’m very disappointed and wish no puts their belongings in this place it’s very dirty and nice droppings appears to be on my items as well. My year books from when I was a kid has been ruined due to the water damage mold has appeared on them.

Easy move in I needed a small amount of space for a short period of time.....the rate was decent. Staff was helpful

Was helping my sister move things into her storage unit. Could not find any carts to make the moving easier. As I was trying to find one I ran into Nicky. She asked if I needed any help so I told her what I was looking for. She walked around and found one for me. She was very pleasant and wanting to help. It made our move a lot easier.

Pretty good location if you live in the city, but they need to do more to maintain the place. The elevator smelled terrible and the bathrooms are always very dirty. The employees don't seem to like to pick up the phone to answer questions and don't call back if you leave a number. The gate was broken for over a month and you had to go to the office to get any details.

Omgosh what a rainy day it has turned out to be... but I still have last minute storage moving to do. I’m new to Baltimore city and needed a great, clean, location to store my furniture, while I continue to look for the perfect place for my children and I to live. I was able to speak with the public storage manager who took my reservation right over the phone. Montrell is his name and he truly looked out/took great care of me from the moment I walked through his doors. I was able to see my reserved unit right away. I was provided a personal lock and key and much more to ensure my belongings were safely nestled away at public storage. The paperwork was all electronically navigated and easy to follow. I’m grateful to have a climate controlled, light sensitive facility, which affords me the ability to use passcode detection, gating for increased security. I may be a nervous wreck, trying to move in the rain, but public storage, on Russell St. Baltimore, Md has got me covered. Moving my things into a storage facility has never been so painless. I contacted this business to help with one of my senior residents that was hospitalized but needed to move her furniture to a different apartment for ADA renovations. From the first person I talked to (Kelly) to the second person I spoke with (Montrell) it was a completely lovely experience. They were understanding, informative and completely willing to work with a situation that changed day-by-day. The price quote I received for a 10 x 10 floor storage unit was completely affordable and doable and everything (rules/terms/conditions) were laid out in a way for me to understand and be able to tell my residents family. She advised me that she would do what she could to help me. She was very professional, informative. and attentive to my concerns. Nicky truly is committed to serving those of us who need to use public storage, with a smile and professionalism. While at this location recently I watched the many customers coming and gong to their units. The role Nicky has requires her to be able to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life. She definitely has the personality to do so. Gold Standard Customer Service is not always provided to the public, but I can truly say that Nicky exihibited a Gold standard of excellence representing the Russell Street Public Storage location.

We explained our previous situation with another PS branch located in glen burnie, md. My husband didnt want to store our things with PS anymore however upon us meeting at the russel street location and being helped by Mikara he changed his mind! She took into consideration and the urgency of us needing to move in to storage right away and got us sqaured away! She helped us out and was very patient! The move in was easy! Amy's GREAT! They NEED lights in the storage unit! I have to bring a small flash light along. They NEED at least ONE trash can. How can you toss trash WITHOUT a trash can not even at the front door 🙄😳. and they NEED to fix the exit gate so that cars can enter and exit PROPERLY! Everything else was a breeze! I HATE the operating hours too. Whatever happened to 24hr access.

Our storage unit flooded a few months back and they didn't call to tell anyone. We got there and there was so much water. Bathrooms and whole place is disgusting. Staff isn't very organized. They wont let you use the dumpster anymore. Our unit is bent up and doesn't function properly. They have not fixed it.

PS advertises that their facilities are well lit. The lights in all the storage units don't work. The front door doesn't work and you have to force it open when trying to get in or out. The 4th hand truck broke and was never replaced. Bathroom is often out of service. Elevators close on you while trying to load them.

Love this place, managers and staff are always sooo helpful. They answered all my questions and even called and emailed me to let me know that I locked my unit the wrong way and left it unsecured. They re secured It for me and when I got there nothing was missing.

Mikeera and Cassandra were extremely helpful as usual I've been a repeat customer with public storage for awhile and associates like them are the reason.

Cassandra and mikeera helped me tremendously today they made my move in quick and easy and made sure i had a thorough understanding of everything.

Not a bad spot for short term storage. Long term storage is strongly discouraged through abusive pricing. Rented unit in 2013 for $92/month. Now in 2016 they are charging me $143/month, a 55% increase from the original rent. In just 3 years they have raised the rent 4 times. The advertised rent for my size space on the internet is $104/month today. Beware of their price gouging if you intend to use this storage for greater than one year! Sept 2016 - Manager responded to this review and lowered my monthly rental to a more reasonable $111/month.

A jewel in the Public Storage crown! I say this having had some experience with the lesser Public Storage (PS) properties over the years. Ms Adrian, the prop mgr is a dynamic, helpful, resourceful asset to both PS and the customer. Furthermore, this PS location, imho, is tops for ANY storage facility in the greater Baltimore area; that is to say, no other brand can match this facility!

This is a great Public Storage location. I have two storage units here that I use for off-site business storage. I've used this location without interruption since January, 2015. I come to the storage unit about twice a month. Adrianne is awesome. Excellent customer service. I'm so pleased I selected the Russell St. location.

I came into the Russell Street location I was greeted by Adrian and Chanel I stopped in to ask about storage for my family relocating to this area, and I purchased some boxes I had the best customer service experience with Adrian and Chanel and I will make sure this will be the location my family will store. Russell Street location has the best customer service ever.

Great customer service from Shannon And Adrian , it was fast and quick . They go above and beyond the line of duty. Ask them any questions you have and they will make you feel at home. I never had to wait for a cart / dolly and they are always in the office . The elevators are always empty . It really helps that they control the parking and make sure nobody blocks the entrance because people do that and the office makes them move so everyone has a space to move when there are multiple people!!!

This a clean (as clean as a storage facility can be), reasonably priced storage facility. I've stored items here off and on for several years and everyone I've worked with has been helpful and professional. Adrian always makes me feel like family when she is there. Kevin from the public storage near the casino in baltimore was the best. He just so happened to be around before they opened and helped me with my car troubles. He was so informative and really nice when I was super stressed out. I would recommend this storage unit to anyone moving. The units are clean, rodent free, climate controlled, and you can even go see how much space you are getting before renting. Definitely check them out and if you get to work with Kevin that's an extra bonus!

I moved over the weekend and I was really impressed with this specific public storage. Carts were made available to us and we were allowed to use the storage facility even though their was some huge construction going on beside (horseshoe casino). Sean was a great help and super friendly. I would definitely recommend this location because it is at the heart of Baltimore and the highway is right their so wherever you move it will be easier transition. Also, security is pretty good; they have cameras, security gate codes and locks for the unit. Some other perks is the maintenance of the building, pest control, climate control, and storage unit insurance. Plus its out and open in the public not in some sketchy area which makes it harder for someone to try to get in.

I've used this facility on multiple occasions. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great prices highly recommended.

I dread doing anything as nothing ever seems to be easy... But renting a storage unit from here was a breeze! I sent in my reservation request and was called back within 5 mins! The staff had to clean my storage locker out, but had it down very quickly and made my "move in" a an easy experience!! Thanks so much!!!

Came into the storage place with a friend of mine today who recently rented storage. We were greeted by the manager Sean, who was one of the most outgoing and friendly people I have met in a retail store. He knew my friend by name and even knew he was coming in to borrow a cart. He was 100% attentive to our needs, as well as very personable. He asked how the moving was going and said if there was anything he could do to help just to ask. I personally work in management in retail and know how I appreciate when customers come to me and tell me my employees are doing a good job, so I asked if I could have his managers information so I could let them know how good he was doing. He thanked me and said he could give me his managers information, but requested instead I give him a review on here. I am sitting in the parking lot right now doing this, and I have to say if I need storage I will come here.

Melynda was very knowledgeable and very helpful in working with us to obtain a storage unit. The unit is clean and easy to access. The entire process took only a few minutes. The rates are very reasonable.

Facilities were clean and secure and the rates are reasonable. Melynda was extremely helpful, went through our options and took the time to make this otherwise stressful process much easier. Would definitely use again.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Melynda. I came in unsure of which boxes to buy. Although it is a small decision in the grand scheme of things, when you're in the middle of a stressful move the last thing you need is more decisions and aggravation. Melynda was incredible!!! She described all of the sizes of boxes to me, the different packages they offer, and provided me with a very helpful pamphlet. She also told me about the storage units. Although I am not currently looking to rent space, if I was, I would definitely come back here. The units are climate controlled which means a lot to me. Thanks again Melynda! You were great!

This facility is very clean, easy to get to and appears to be very secure. The staff (Sean and Melynda) are very personable and truly understand the importance of "customer service". They made my move into storage very easy with great suggestions and went above and beyond their job description to provide assistance.
