Good storage unit in a safe area!

Need to find a storage last minute and the price changes so quickly on the kiosk so I call in, and Tai help me find the perfect unit with the perfect price. My suggestion is try to call them first, they have have better deal for you. It was so easy.

Nice location with easy access. No staff works at this location, and it is a little difficult at first to get help.

Manager Angel, was very polite and professional. We needed a unit right away. We were not sure what size we were gonna need originally he offered to show us two units and thank goodness he did because the unit we originally ordered was way too small…. Thank a lot!

This location is generally clean, and it’s very easy and quick to get a unit rental using their website. I have my belongings in a 5x5 unit while I am in the process of moving into my new apartment and I haven’t had any problems. The people at the front desk greet you and are helpful if you have questions.

Terrible. Do Not Use. Manager never contacted me either. Continued to charge my mother's bank account after closing 1 year before. Taking over $2000. Then proceeded to say that I then owed $1000.

If you need an unsecured storage facility with regular break ins and no customer support, this is your place.

So I just moved here from Louisiana and needed a storage close to my home. So I came across to this one . I was impressed with the great customer service that this young man Angel provided for me . He did an amazing job answering all my questions and went into detail what y’all provide. I must say he is a great worker and a very very clean place . While I was there he did an amazing job multitasking take care of me and very professional answering the phone and providing information for the people calling . I was VERY IMPRESSED! My unit was broken into along with many others. I believe 15 others. Rather than calling me to let me know they called and said that the building was shifting and they needed the key. I waited about a week until I had free time to take care of this. When I arrived I noticed the lock had been picked and back door lock looked broken. No cameras. Had I known there was a break in I would have came immediately to handle this. Wonder if anyone else fell victim to this. I understand break ins happen but being lied to about it is something else. The customer service line and district manager rude and no help.

I live in the area and have rented a few units here and its cool they close at 6 pm cause it keep the homeless out. the manager was able to keep my rate from going up for 6 months and and is always there unlike previous woman that was there

I think it is an outrage to see Public storage at this location have raised their fees by 25% at this difficult time for the nation. I just saw my fees go from $340.00 to $453.00 for a single unit. I want to know how they can justify this price hike, when they produce nothing, and gas hikes have no influence on them. This is total greed. Unless this ridiculous price is reduced. I have no choice but to clear out my storage.

Location is convenient... but the access hours are pretty limited and public storage is a dishonest company with no concern for their customer satisfaction. Choose anything else.

I have been a long time customer of this Public Storage, almost 20 years. The service provided by Jamaica today is one of the main reasons I’ve stayed so loyal. I had an issue that Jamaica responded to and quickly resolved which was extremely helpful as I was calling from the Middle East where I work. The facility is always clean, well lit, and easily accessible. I will continue to be a satisfied customer!

The experience was abysmal, the 1419 W Gray street had no personel on site, l could not access the unit being that was asigned at the 3 floor (after asking for 1st floor due to heavy packages).Had to go to the nearby location, rent a whole new unit,was charged all kinds of fees ,can not cancel the other unit until someone is there in person ( back to square one, no one in the store). Abysmal experience,do not rent from this company,use another one.

The facility is newer and great and so far has been much more efficient getting in and out than West Gray location. I was very happy with the fact that I reserved a unit size & location (indoor/outdoor/floor) online and they actually had one available that I asked for- unlike my past two experiences with West Gray. I'm normally not a reviewer of stuff like this, but Michael really is the best.

Michael is an outstanding manager! He went above and beyond to help us resolve a potential crisis. We had a situation with a moving company arriving early in the morning -- before office hours -- and an elevator that had just broken. Although a service call was placed immediately to repair the elevator, there was no guarantee it would be fixed overnight. Michael stayed at least an hour past office closing time to help us locate and transfer our lease to a ground floor unit in order to avoid the elevator issue. He remained, calm, courteous, and professional in the face of our obvious distress. What could have easily escalated into a bad situation, instead ended with our smiles and appreciation. Thank you, Michael!

Michael was such a joy to work with in having a unit rented, however, one of the policies that they require was a bit confusing. During my research of the facility and even going through the contract to rent the space, Michael informed me that purchasing their insurance was a requirement for renting a storage unit. This was in complete contradiction to the information packets, to the insurance brochures in the store, and in complete contradiction to the contract itself which was clear that a person renting the unit was not required to purchase their insurance in order to rent the unit. While the pricing is very competitive, the policy that Michael informed me which Public Storage has regarding insurance is very misleading and deceptive. I think this also puts Michael as the manager in a precarious position, being required by PS to not rent units, in complete direct conflict with the way documentation and contractually binding documents are written. I think either the policies need to change, or the documentation needs to be corrected to reflect the current policy. - If either of these would be done, then I could easily give the facility 4 to 5 stars. But this deceptive policy should be consistent with the legal documentation.

Michael at this Public Storage was terrific! He made the check-in process quick and easy and was able to help me choose the right size unit for our needs. He was great to work with, and I highly recommend this property. The unit and premises were clean and the access is very easy.

I had actually initially booked with the location off Greenbriar, but they ended up not having a climate controlled unit in the size I requested, so they transferred me up to this location. Michael, the Property Manager, was extremely helpful & accommodating and the check-in process was as smooth as can be!

Michael was patient and professional helping us move from a large unit to a smaller one. No hassle or ridiculous charges. He kept a calm presence as many customers were in there with questions. So, Michael was great. But Calling the number - if you push 1 to inquire about units it takes you to a generic call bank where they are pushy and long winded and rude. I was definitely unimpressed and slightly offended by them. But all ties to this location were great!

WONDERFUL!!!!!! Monday was awesome and all I bought was boxes and tape

Shawna was very helpful in helping me with the right side boxes that need for packing item's up. She was smiling and answer all of my question. What might be best to pack my glass and dishes with so that would not break.

Michael, Was very helpful and informative about the climate controlled units. He answered all of my fathers questions with certainty and we rented right away.

Monday and Courtney were extremely courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this location!

I love the staff here. Both my family and myself have rented storage spaces here for three years. The location couldn't be better and the front dest manager, Monday, is extremely helpful, polite and all around amazing. We have been with this property for almost 8 months. The staff here has always been great here. Every time we come to access our unit I always make sure to stop in and say hello to Monday. She has been very helpful when it comes to our storage needs. She always greats me and my team from Dunkin' with a smile. Monday has deff made our experience here at public storage the best that we have received at any location. As much as moving is like pounding a nail into your hand, the Public Storage people at this facility, especially Monday, were extremely helpful and courteous. I would refer them and their facilities any time.

I would definitely recommend this place after my experience so far. During initial sign up, Michael provided an excellent recommendation for a unit, a fast, accurate and simple process and explained everything patiently and with a smile even after numerous interruptions by other customers that needed assistance. Both him and Monday have been courteous and helpful, and they maintain a clean and secure storage business.

Rented a storage unit today from a lovely man named Michael who was very helpful, efficient and kind. Service was excellent! Got me the best deal available and I was in and out very quickly. You definitely leave feeling that you will be well taken care of should any issues arise in the future. The facilities are in the old Oak Farms building and are extremely clean and well-maintained. Such a nice feeling to not only check a chore off your errand list but also get an extra bounce in your step from the transaction being such an enjoyable experience! Thank you!

The three stars come from a horrible experience with one employee; otherwise I would give them 5 stars for cleanliness and 5 stars for the other employee I encountered. I have been helping a friend relocate her property from California to Houston. She made all of the arrangements over the phone and online. Yet, someone had to appear in person to pay and sign the documents. I did that and rented an additional unit for her in my name. Throughout this process my friend and I both worked with Crystal. She was very accommodating, friendly, knowledgable and helpful. She listened to our needs (on the phone and in person) and came up with solutions. Due to company policy, however, I was required to put the second unit in my name. There was not an acceptable way to add it to my friend's established account. Not a problem. My friend came to town on business, so we went to the facility on Friday, September 13th to transfer the unit I rented into her name. Crystal was not working that day. Instead, we encountered an employee named Charlie. She was NOT happy to see us or to even be at work. When we asked to make the change (using the paperwork already provided/completed by Crystal) she gruffly said well that's going to take a long time...30 -45 minutes. She went on to complain about being there at all...her first time there...didn't know where anything was located. (The computer, paper, and pens were right in front of her...what else did she need!?) It seemed as though she was purposely making it difficult for both of us. At one point, I finally walked out and went to sit in the car. It took every bit of 40 minutes...and when Paula came out, she was pretty irritated. Charlie did not listen. She did not pay attention to what was asked. MY HUSBAND's name was not removed. MY EMAIL was not removed (as we found out when I got the emailed invoice a few days later.) There is more detail I could share, but won't. Last weekend, I went to the storage again to clean out the remainder of the items in the original unit (sold as a 10x7 that was actually 10 x 5.) Crystal was working!! She was friendly, capable, and closed everything out quickly. She also mentioned she was being transferred to Magnolia, two hours north of Houston. I hope her move means a promotion. Charlie needs retraining on customer care...or she needs to find a job where she does not EVER interact with customers. If she had been my first experience, I would have walked out and NEVER stepped into another Public Storage. My stuff is all at Lone Star Storage in Katy. If I move to Magnolia...guess where my stuff will be stored?

I've had a really great experience using Public Storage. Crystal's upbeat, funny and helped me find exactly what I needed well within my price range. Couldn't get any better than that!
