My Review is based solely on the price for this location. I leased a drive up unit 10x15 for 17 months, never had any problems except for the price increase of $35 literally 4 months into our lease . I just terminated my lease due to another notice of our lease increasing another $65! That’s an $90 increase in just 17 months of paying for the unit on a monthly auto debit with out ever missing a payment or having a late payment.

This Public Storage facility is conveniently located near the intersection of I-10 and the 610 Loop in Houston. The facility is very clean and reliably temperature-controlled. The staff is very friendly, especially Al the manager. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the facility and went the extra mile to identify appropriate storage units for my numerous unique and unwieldy items. He's also very enjoyable conversationalist :) Additionally, he's kind enough to make personal phone call reminders to those who are about to incur late fees! I highly recommend this Public Storage location.

I'm convinced this is the absolute cleanest storage facility you'll ever find always swept which I have Never found at other places. Also, while other storage places feel like a dungeon, this one is very well-lit which is nice. It's also convenient to get into all the units here, and they make sure the carts are available and where they are supposed to be. Al the manager has been there many years and is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He takes care of everything very well and his consistent care of the place really shows. He gives you info about all the available units and helps you pick the best one. He's always funny and it is so nice to have a familiar face at this location where other places you might never see the same person twice. I Really enjoy renting here and highly recommend it.

I didn't realize my voicemail was full when they were trying to call me and I was kind of rude in my message I left the staff. Worst experience renting from these crooks! They tell you your rent won’t go up for a year and then 3 months later they start increasing your rent. When you call to ask about your rent they get all rude and upset like if they’re the ones paying more! Ridiculous stay away from here! The customer service is HORRIBLE! The lady on the phone told me “did I have anything else to say before she hung up” like what? Seriously stay away from this place!

Al runs this Public Storage and y’all I’ve gotta say he’s an absolute delight! The reason I needed this unit was a bit of a fiasco and I needed it super last minute and he was so accommodating. He gave me the best price he could and explained everything thoroughly and with a sense of humor. The unit itself is clean, the building is air conditioned, and there are carts free to use. I’d recommend this facility to anyone looking for an easy and affordable way to store things they don’t have space for. Honestly an even more expensive facility would be worth it just to get to chat with Al!

Al was very nice and helpful! The unit is clean and very accommodating as far as access goes. Something to keep in mind is make sure you bring your own lock or you have to purchase the $20 lock they provide - it is a good one but pricey. They also require insurance on your unit which starts at $11. Just a few fees I was not aware of so something to plan ahead for! Overall great experience and I am very happy with the unit and Manager Al!! :)

BEWARE I would be very cautious of renting storage at this location or with public storage AT ALL. I was with the location for about two years. My storage was broken into at least three times because the third time I actually found the lock cut. The two last times it happened I asked to review camera footage. Each time I was told a different story about how it was not available or that it was down/broken. Ridiculous for the amount you pay and the fact that they do not have a proper security Set up. I have major high end clients that I was holding marketing tools there for. When I went in to talk to someone the day it happened which was Dec 20th Betsy kinda chuckled at me because I was upset about the break in and the fact that even though she was there She didn't replace the lock on my unit until i had to ask her to. Which Al normally did replace the lock till I brought a new one. I did not appreciate how she handled the situation. I asked her to have Al call me... HE never did. I had to go by there a few times till he was there so I could talk to him. Called the District manager left 3 messages NO PHONE CALL BACK. Finally called Corporate and been playing phone tag with a Michelle WHO 4 WEEKS LATER nothing has been resolved.. I finally moved out but I am so disappointed in how Public Storage is handling this situation.

The prices are reasonable. Be ready to pay insurance in addition to the rent - but this is kind of not a surprise. I have been visiting my box in the storage couple of times already. Always easy to access. I was renting a unit with an AC - it was not big (5’ x 15’). It has a roof that lets the air in and it manages to contain lots of stuff. And it has a reasonable price

Staff was great and efficient. I was in and out in about 30 minutes including looking at the storage units.

Al made renting a unit quick, easy, and affordable. He was so helpful and answered all of my questions. I was in and out with keys in about 15 minutes. This is a great affordable option for storage.

EVERYTHING YOU'RE LOOKING FOR IN A STORAGE COMPANY, CANNOT BE FOUND HERE. Not secure. Horrible management. No concept of customer service, and simply rude. WORST. Experience. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Rented an indoor unit in August and GOT BROKEN INTO the first part on December; all the robbers had to do was pop the latch off (my lock was still locked on the latch). Management is rude, uninformed about ANY of the security features ( I asked how many cameras they had in the indoor complex and just got an "I don't know"), and the regional or district manager is as unhelpful and not interested in providing any customer service. My unit was broken into in broad daylight, in the morning, and I wasn't notified until 2:30 PM. After simply notifying me, the first thing the manger asked me was "have you had a storage unit broken into before?"...WHAT? Like this is a routine, quarterly event in everyone's life, and it's completely normal around that camp?? Not only suspicious but also not the best opening line. Basically, after not answering many of my questions while I was there I got the closing line, paraphrased, 'It happens, have a good day.' No follow up, and they will not tell you when there are break-ins, even when it on your row or even right next to yours. Roughly one month later, i got a notice that they are INCREASING the rates of my unit by $20/month (30% increase)! HA! DISGRACE of a business, and DISASTER of an experience!!!

I have been at the Public Storage run by Mr. Al Johnson for 15+ years. The facility is very well run, clean, accessible, and a real credit to Mr. Johnson's management. It is one of the best Public Storage facilities around. I don't do business with someone for all this time unless they are doing something RIGHT! (The only reason I am leaving is because I am retiring, closing the business, and no longer need the space.)

I came into this facility to get a short term storage unit before heading out of town for a few months, and the service I received from Mr. AL was outstanding and efficient. He gave me the good old school version of customer service that's rarely found these days and I was in and out within 30 minutes. Also, this place is in an ideal location and the premises is well kept. There's no need to look elsewhere for your storage needs because this is your place....

Jack and all the employees that work there are very professional and really go the extra mile to make sure my needs are met. They are very friendly and easy to approach with concerns. The property is clean and and safe. I am very happy with my decision. There are other storage facilities close, but the price is much higher for the same size unit on the first floor.
