42 storage units broken into in a two day span weeks ago. Still have main gates open! Do not rent here.

I've had a storage unit here for a little over three years. My monthly fee started at $54 and has steadily been raised to $110 for their smallest unit. That was annoying, but it's just how these companies work. What makes me upset is that my unit was broken into three times with absolutely no compensation or attempt to make their site more secure. They have regular break-ins, and because their clients store everything at their own risk, they have no incentive to actually fix the problems. In the last break in, a lot of my personal papers and photos were scattered throughout the hallway.

Willie provided excellent customer service. He was professional and expediant. He was also very transparent. I felt right at home with the service. He adjusted to the circumstances we were in and made the process very smooth.

The only thing that is well secured here are the bathrooms because they keep those locked up well. As for the rest of the property, not so much. A crew busted in and cracked open a ton of units and robbed me of thousands in property. They failed to let me know my unit lock hub was replaced so I can come lock it. Even better, they replaced the hub that uses a lock that only they sell. That's great....except I found out after hours and they have zero customer support after close of business. Seriously, don't bother calling them. So my unit was left unlocked as the hub had no pad lock mount for a personal lock. Mine unit specifically. The other units got proper hubs and could get locked. If there was an ability to give negative stars, I would. I pay a lot of money for the unit and they definitely don't merit half of what they charge.

Joy was so helpful when I went to store 5615. My storage was easily accessible and she greeted me with a smile even with all of my questions. Please ask for Joy for any of your storage needs.

Nice, clean and well priced. I had to store some of my things in a unit for the past year. The facility is well maintained, great customer service, cooled and good security. I always felt safe coming in and out to get something or drop something off. If you're looking for a place to rent, I'd recommend this facility. I didn't have any issues. I'd rent from here again if needed.

If I can give a negative thousand stars I would. Let me first start off by saying the customer service is excellent at this facility. The ladies work very hard and are very kind. I went to move my mother into a unit with expensive movers in tow. When we arrived someone else’s lock was on my mothers unit and the office was closed. I had to take off of work a second day, pay double and the movers missed out on two jobs because of this. I requested the district manager contact me and was told that they would. That was almost 2 weeks ago. I understand things happen, but to be a customer with a truck full of furniture, in the rain and no other options…….For that not to be acknowledged? Its flat out disrespectful and unethical. If I had known we would’ve gotten this type of treatment, I would’ve gone somewhere else.

I have housed my things there in a 10X15 for almost one year and they are very helpful each time I visit. They even reduced my rate when I was laid off due to COVID earlier this year. I got an email that the rate was scheduled to go back up a few days ago and called to see what they could do. Chanel just called me to let me know I was approved to keep the lower rate awhile longer. The storages in the middle of hallways on Fairdale by Richmond; why are they pitch black?! All Florescent bulbs are off and my storage has no light?!! What kind of storage is this?!! No help!!

The customer service here is terrible. After finding out our movers could deliver early, we contacted Public Storage to see if we could move up our start date (which there was availability for). We were referred to change it online. However, the online account was not user friendly or malfunctioning. We were then referred to an online support phone number who referred us back to the office at the Public storage. Basically, the run around. Thinking it would make it easier to talk in person, I went the office to speak with Betsy a sales representative. She was incredibly rude. Again, referring us to the online account to make the change. I explained we were having difficulty with the account. She then offered to provide me with a copy of the confirmation email with the link to the online account 3 times. I then asked how we could cancel the reservation completely. She told me to have my boyfriend call and cancel the reservation since it was done in his name. He called and was told to go to his online account to cancel the reservation.. Long story short, unless you prefer to get the run around I would not recommend this place. I went down the road to Cube Smart on Richmond and was out in 10 minutes. No problems and nicer facility too. Good luck

Imedla caught everyone off guard. A few of us pulled over and Faisal (Manager) was extremely nice enough to let us in to use the restroom, stretch our legs and chat. If that's not Houstonian manager material, I don't know what is.

Major Security Concerns; Premise Liability factor due to burglar, vandalism and theft of secured property. The property was burglarized and all items stolen under the supervision of the property management. The property has lack of security for safe storage of personal items, the property is liable for burglary and vandalism due to negligence of security within the property. I recommend choosing a more secure facility to store your personal items.

Smug. Unhelpful. Overpriced. Untruthful. It seems that some staff go out of their way to be unpleasant. Unfortunate. Go to Pbublic Storage on Gulfton, MUCH lower pricing, MUCH better people to deal with, and MUCH easier ingress and egress.

I stored my property here for 2 1/2yrs. This was one of the best storage places I’ve used. I lived in another state and had no worries. The flood came and this location is safe from the high waters. Beware! I have leased for 4 months via online with great price (have leased there prior over 5 years off an on). Please know the management has changed and the phone number (now voicemail states 26700 A Direct or something strange?!) They emailed me today (last day of month) they are upping my small unit on top floor (cheaper) to $100. Allows me no time to move - and he states if I don't move out today Ihave to pay $100. Thanks for the advance notice!

The lady in the front told me she will give me second key while I move out and when I was ready to move out, she said she don't remember anything and she didnt said that. How can those people forget these thinks while they do the same work on daily basis. I dont care about the lock and key, but am disappointed with their irresponsibility and low memory.

My storage unit was burglarized. And in return i got a police report and a sheet of paper with directions to file a claim. This is after 2years of rental of over 200.00 monthly and my rent went up 50.00 . I was also told i had to drive from Dallas to come replace my locks because they weren't responsible for that.???????

Facts: Mahesh by far provided the best customer service that I have ever received in my life. I walked out literally wanting to work there for him. Company is lucky to have him.

Mahesh it is very attentive with his customers, he is always ready to make you smile and accommodate you in any request you have. The facility is always clean, but it needs some maintenance. The entry door has been broken for a very long time, I do not know if it has been fixed since the last tome I visited, back in late January.

Employees, particularly Mahesh, are very helpful and nice! The storage units are nothing special but hey they're storage units. The building is pretty clean and well maintained. Four instead of five stars because the responsiveness to the front gate being broken now 3+ months is a bit disappointing. With the front gate broken, you need to go up ~four stairs with anything you are bringing in which is pretty annoying for a storage place.

Mahesh was so kind to help me navigate through a difficult situation as Power of Attorney for someone with dementia. If I ever need storage I will go straight to Mahesh. Every time I was there he inquired about his renter and was genuinely concerned about him which was very encouraging to me. I see him being gracious to everyone who he comes in contact with. I would highly recommend Public Storage at 5615 Westheimer. I really feel now that Mahesh is my friend.

Great facility, fairly easy to get in and out of. Elevator access makes it easy to get right to the units. Staff is friendly. Mahesh checked me out very quickly.

Dollys were locked up and we couldn't use them. We got locked inside the parking lot after 9. Took 45 minutes to get out. Had no number to call the property owner.

Public Storage on Westheimer's manager Mahesh is friendly person I ever seen in the service field. The facility is very clean and I would go back there again.

Mahesh and his staff are the friendliest and most accommodating. Mahesh made move in very easy and convenient, with after hour access to the dollies and drive up access that was closest to our elevators. The property is quite clean, our unit was in great condition, and the main office had lots of additional moving supplies available for purchase. Business with Mahesh was a delight. Highly recommend this storage space in the Houston Galleria area!

I have been doing business with Mahesh and Public Storage for over 15 years. I believe that the place is always clean the people are well trained and Mahesh has always been a wonderful person to do business with. As an example he notice in January of 2016 that I had left a plastic container top outside of my storage area. He saved it until he was able to see me and return it to me. That is service above and beyond. Thank you Mahesh I have also just recommended that my daughter who is moving from Colorado to Houston use this facility to store some of her things there.
