Charles, at West Dean Road, was amazing! The snow was blowing and it was cold! Charles put me in a great spot. He also took the time to help me move my motorhome into the space. He made sure that I was happy. Super great customer service from Charles. He also asked me to contact him if I had any further needs! Thanks Charles for your help.

I visited this store yesterday in a bit of a panic and the customer service was absolutely EXCELLENT. Charles I believe his name was and the lady working with him yesterday morning are definitely the ones you NEED to speak with to handle your business they were wonderful. Helpful, fair, all about the customers, compassionate too. I’d recommend this place over and over again just because of how professional these two members of the staff was. Usually I STAYED having to argue with them, but these two they’ve turned my opinion of this particular location around. Thank you for helping me out you guys. I appreciate it.

I’ve been at this location for 3+ years in my same spot paying my bill on time and all of sudden because of new management they want me to move my truck and trailer from one spot to the next and still pay the same amount which makes absolutely no sense. I get it…new management wants to strut their stuff but do with the tenants NOT the ones who have spent years dealing with public storage. NOT PLEASED

Hello! I want to shout out the manager Charles at the public storage on Dean road! He went beyond his title to make me feel comfortable! I opted to select the inside climate control, and thanks to him, I made the right choice. He took me to look at it, explained what each penny would cost me, the best supplies to get to pack, how to lock my storage unit, u name it he did it! Very professional customer service! Didn't flirt with me like many other married mental do! Actually in the office! Wasnt on his phone! An overall great experience! Keep up the good work sir!

George is a very delightful young man, he was very knowledgeable while answering questions for me and also made sure all my needs were met.

I set up my account online and had a delay on my move in date. I lost the information on how to find my storage location and my code for the gate. I worked with Tiffani once I arrived. She gave me great directions to get to my storage, advice on getting my things to fit, reminded me of my bill date and how to properly move out. She was very professional and helpful. Made the experience very positive. I will recommend this location if anyone asks.

Website registration could not be completed on-line unless I purchase 'Orange Door' Insurance. In person registration went well, nice personnel. $1 first month and monthly rent thereafter is attractive. What's up with the requirement to purchase a Public Storage lock for $20 bucks? I've stored my old sportscar for over 30 years, always able to use my own Master Lock. I'm sure just a revenue enhancer, like the $24 'administrative fee'. I see you're pushing 'Orange Door' insurance pretty hard - gotta be a money maker as well.... My 10' x 15' unit was not very clean - how hard is it to sweep this unit out before a new renter? Also, I imagine the 10 x 15 unit should be 15 ft. deep - my car is exactly 13.5ft long and JUST fit in this unit. If it had been 6" longer, shutting the overhead door would not have been possible.

George is exceptional at what he does. If you need help ask for George he will guide you in the right direction. He made sure our every need was met. His customer service skills are excellent! Thank you for all your help George you are greatly appreciated.

Cassandra was an amazing help!! She got me all that I needed and more... above and beyond. When I 1st got my storage unit everything went smooth. The rep was great! She got me what I needed and more. I got my unit in mid August and received my September month free as mentioned in their ad. I received my October bill via email and paid it in full. Weeks later I get an email saying I had a balance of $6.99. A rep named Rico called Monday October 25th and left a voicemail stating the same thing... there’s a balance of $6.99. I asked him what it was for and why it didn’t show up when I paid my bill? He stated that it was probably a glitch and didn’t catch it before, but it was some kind of tax. I asked if I could pay it on Friday when I came in to pay my November bill and he said yes that was fine. End of conversation. I’m still not sure what the extra tax is but was willing to pay it. I go in to pay Friday as mentioned and I have an extra $103 and some change added to my bill... $41 late fee and $62 lien fee. The rep Doreen looked through the notes and read the notes/conversation I had with Rico days prior. Nothing was ever mentioned that I would have a late fee added on let alone a lien fee!!! She said the fee was non reversible. So I paid the regular months bill and got the number to contact the District Manager, Alex, as well as Trisha who I believe was said to be the branch manager or some sort, idk, to discuss the fees that I was being charged due to a $6.99 tax that was thrown in somewhere along the line. But I called both of them and left messages twice. The district manager, Alex, called back Monday to inform me that he did receive my message and would indeed do everything to look into what happened. Long story short, he reversed the charges of $103 from what apparently was caused from a new tax bill. Leave it to Alex to save the day! Thank you!

DEAN RD MILWAUKEE WI LOCATION I’m not one to write reviews. And contemplated on writing this one. But I feel like people should know. Few weeks ago we purchased a camper, the first storage place didn’t work so we found this one. The staff was nice, got us a spot to park. While we were pulling in a woman came out of nowhere and walked through the gate as it was opened. No car, no truck or uhaul. I thought it was a bit weird, as she wasn’t staff either. But we continued on and parked our camper. Couple of weeks later we left with the camper to go camping over Labor Day weekend. We returned parked and left. We didn’t return until a week later so we could take some stuff out and wash it at home. When my husband opened the camper he had realized that it had been broken into and a considerable about of stuff was stolen. Electronics, towels, plates, cutlery, pillows etc. come to find out multiple campers had been broke into and stuff was taken. When we initially signed the contract we were told that this location had 24 hour security and cameras through out. So we felt safe. The police were called and they came out to do finger prints and found nothing. Further talking to the staff, they admitted that the cameras did not work. So they have been lying to customers saying there was cameras. We decided to leave this location and got our money back. But I’m still really upset because we will never get our stuff returned to us it will never be found. So think twice before using this location for storage as the police believe that the person who stole is still living inside the gates. I feel as corporate should contact us and make this right.

December 2018: When I moved my items there was water damage to some of my large items, which resulted in a total loss. I filed a claim with the insurance company. The insurance company is a total joke and scam! The company has many different business names as you go through the process. The goal of this insurance company is NOT to pay you for your loss. The "adjudicator" immediately classified my claim as fungus, which has a $250 max payout after a $100 deductible. This again is to keep from paying you. They require you to jump through ridiculous hoops to even prove your loss. Hoops they know you can't prove. Also, beware if the staff just pushes the insurance on you as if it's not an option when you get a storage unit. It is optional. Again, this insurance is a scam. January 2018. Doreen provided great customer service and prompt communication as well as follow up. Update 12/8/2018: please beware of unit F013. It has a leak in the roof. My couch and mattress were ruined. Both pieces were soaked and full of mold. I will update this review again after I file my insurance claim.
