Angie was amazing when first starting out our unit here. We had a slightly complicated situation which she handled perfectly! Her customer service is superb! (And when you've been dedicated to a company for as long as she has been, that still says ALOT!) We felt so welcome, and the facility is always so clean, quiet, and felt very safe. After we closed our account, I noticed we still got billed after (my fault for closing it the day before the bill is due), but Justice came to the rescue and when I called. He was already on the case! He knew right away who I was and was so reassuring that it was a computer error and was being handled expressly! I am so sad I can't take them with me to work at the Public Storage close to where I moved to. These guys rock!!

My mother and I just had a really great experience with Angie and Natalie at this location. They were very pleasant and helpful. They explained all the details of costs and options of storage units. They were also very efficient when it came to finishing all paperwork. We were in and out of there in a timely manner. The app was really convenient for easy access and Im glad we went with this storage company.

Today my daughter and me had a reservation in this location to check the size of the storage, and to have more information about the prices. I met Justice one of the agents in this facility and he was very helpful, polite and sweet. I ended taking the space, because Justice gave us different options, and he was very patience. In a world of self centered uncivilized hateful people, my mom and I had the pleasure of encountering 2 of the nicest gentlemen who worked at public storage on Cherry St in Long Beach. Justice and Michael:) They had the size of storage we needed at a great price (compared to another PS we toured earlier that day), however we needed longer accessible hours for a long distance move. Instead of taking my elderly mothers money knowing the access hours may be a challenge, they recommended another PS, called that store rep, and help acquire a unit at a different location for an even more affordable price! Talk about customer service! Thank you Justice & Michael for being kind and going out your way to help my mom and me. #Amazinghumans

Great attention to the client. Angie was knowledgeable, guided me through each step of the rental. She gave a tour of the space before everything was settled which I appreciated. She even called ahead when I had placed the space on hold to introduce herself and confirm the details of the rental. She was very friendly and professional.

Went in to get a storage unit today and we were helped by Tina, she was also training 2 new employees named Natalie and Viviana. They were very nice and answered all of our questions. Tina is doing a great job training and Natalie and Viviana are going to be great!!

TLDR: Prior to arriving, we were dragging our feet with the monotonous idea of finding a storage unit. We have a number of storage facilities around the area but most of them are worn down or in an undesirable location. *enters Public Storage* Drove by here a few times and noticed that it is clean and easily accessible. Needless to say, we got in, found the unit we needed and got out satisfied within 10 minutes. Shoutout to Tina for making the process a piece of cake whilst might I add, trading two new employees. Pros: Secured property Clean Outdoor and indoor units Variety of sizes Knowledgeable staff Extremely friendly (but not too much to the point of it being weird or creepy) Employees seem happy to work there, which is huge. Cons: Limited access window (not 24/7) Pricy but you get what you pay for Off a busy street

We first went to extra space storage and after hearing about all there ridiculous fees and such we were mortified. We decided to take our chances at public storage and WOW what a difference. Met Tina and she was absolutely amazing! So kind and helpful. She answered every question and concern truthfully. Her customer service was phenomenal. Prices are excellent nothin horrific like extra space. I highly recommend this place. Everything is secured and coded. Ask for Tina she was just a joy to work with. Extra space sucks don't even waste your time.

This place is the BEST. I have had numerous storage places in numerous locations. Large and small. I have NEVER, EVER dealt with a storage place as great as this one! Tina and the staff there are so professional, efficient, friendly and accommodating. The property and storage spaces are clean. The restrooms are clean. I have moved to Northern California but still have my space in Long Beach. I have been there a few times since my move and it's just as great as it was in the beginning when I first rented it. Worst security of any storage facility I have ever used. Units keep getting broken into, mine twice. There are no cameras inside, they have no clue what's going on inside their own building. The alarm sensors on the units are fake and do nothing.

Clean well kept facility. Tina at the front desk was very helpful. Will use again if the need arises.

BEWARE! THIS PLACE HAS NO SECURITY! If you have a storage unit here, get your stuff out ASAP. My storage unit was broken into twice in two months.

The site manager Tina and her staff were absolutely amazing. She accommodated me on my moving day when I needed to upgrade to a larger unit. She was so helpful throughout the process. Two thumbs up for this location and the staff here.

Decent facility, but raising my monthly rent $80 this past month is completely ridiculous. I've been renting barely over a year and it's gone up about $100 since I signed up. And as you can tell by their response below, they couldn't care less. Beware!

Update: justice and carolyn still great help. But i dont understand how tina the manager hasnt been fired. She always has a nasty attitude for no reason. I asked to get my birth certificate and luggage even tho i owe she rudely denied the request, so i was trying to hand her the keys knowing i wont be able to get my things out. She laughed and said that no matter what theyre going to access the storage unit. I said ok, i understood and was walking out without giving problems and she rudely yelled something about risking her job and was harrasding me...i didnt ask for her to do anything. I asked if i could do something, my request was denied i understood and was leaving quietly...why did tina have an attitude? Did she not get ranch for her burger and fries on her lunch break? If so, that had nothing to do with me!

During our stay, we never had an issue with the service. The one time someone tried to open our locker, we were promptly called and a new lock was installed.

My wife and I were forced to get a storage unit for our white home while we looked for a new place to live. As stressful as that was Tina at Public Storage made things so much better and helped more than her job required. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a until that was big enough for our entire home. She went so far as to help us change units to a bigger one the day of the move because the unit we rented was too small. I could not recommend a better place for function and for customer service. If you ever go in there make sure to ask for Tina and she will make sure you are taken care of.

When I first got the spaces like the hours cause it was from 6am-9pm and now I don’t cause they are from 6am -6pm hope they change then back to the hours they had

Came by to complete the paperwork and everything a few days before move-in. As soon as I had reserved the space online I had confirmation calls from them following up on any questions. There was an issue with the size space I reserved being available but Tina was great and able to get me set up with something even a little bigger while honoring the price for what I had reserved. She made sure all keys and access codes worked before I left and I had all the other moving supplies I might need. Very impressed with their organization and customer service. Highly recommend

I have had my stuff here for a little over a year and my unit was broken into recently. Our garage was in the beginning stages of being remodeled when covid hit and put everything to a stop so my stuff is stuck at public storage until then. I got a call saying they found my unit unlocked. When I got there, all my stuff had been gone through, including my dresser drawers, and boxes thrown about. I bought another lock and locked it up. I was advised to contact the district manager to see about changing units because I feared they would be back to steal the rest. The district manager didn't even have the decency to call me back! Several people have told me that their units at this same location have been broken into, and on the same floor as mine! The girl at the front desk said that only people who have a unit on any particular floor have access to that particular floor. They don't even investigate when a unit is broken into! They can see what code was used to access that floor on the night units are broken into but they don't! So there's people who rent units and go around breaking into others! On top of that, they just emailed saying they are raising their monthly rates!!!! How the hell is that fair when they're allowing units to be broken into and don't investigate?! I finally bought a shed and I am going to move all my stuff, whats left, back home! This company only cares about getting your money! If you have a unit here, I would suggest taking all your stuff out before someone else does it for you! Shame on public storage!

(Which is sometimes hard to do during these unusual times). Plus the place is clean, feels very secure, and has multiple security measures in place. Went to get information for comparison but ended up renting the same visit. The price is also very competitive and it comes with a dose of piece of mind for free.

Tina is friendly, polite and accommodating each time we come to the facility. We have maintained our storage room here at Long Beach for years and do not intend to go anywhere else!!

Rented a indoor unit here for several months and staff was always helpful, friendly, and willing to answer any questions especially Tina and Scarlett. The entire process was quick and easy and I felt my belongings were safe and secure.

I came in to make my monthly payment and i was met by a rude attendant who refused to accept my payment because she was at lunch. She escorted me out of the building. She said have a nice day. When dealing with people, many are quick to criticize and comment if any errors or problems When everything goes well and problems are solved,few comments are made. As a business owner of two photography studios for almost 40 years, I have dealt with 100s of salesman tech -customer relations service personal etc: many of them were totally unqualified if not flat ignorant. I have been a client with PS for 13 years and have talked to many of the personal there and the headquarters. 3 words... Tina, Scarlet, Mary. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us out. When Tina let us know they were at capacity with their outdoor storage and she could send us elsewhere if we wanted, we told her we didn't think we would get the same customer care her and the the rest of the staff provided. She kept searching and figuring out a way to make us happy and she did! We are super please at this type of customer care and quality that we won't go anywhere else besides this Public Storage... thanks again ladies! :)

Tina was incredible and so very friendly. I had never rented a space before and she walked me right through it. The only negative I can say is the confusion as where my space was located. Tina showed me once, but after that I was a rat in a maze. My suggestion if it makes a difference is simply acknowledging where the elevators are and space numbers on the ends of the rows so people know where they're going. Other than that, I was thoroughly impressed with Tina and happy with Public Storage.

We have rented space at this Cherry Ave PS location for 15 years. After moving from No California, we needed a place to store all the furniture and our belongings until we were ready to settle into our new home. We began with a large 30 foot space outside. Then as we began to shed many items, we consolidated our seasonal items (e.g. summer outdoor items & Christmas decorations) into a smaller 5x10 space indoors. It has been a perfect solution for our family, allowing us the space at our home to keep both cars in the garage. This is a very well-kept clean secure place to keep anything of value.

Rented a unit this morning. Danielle was fantastic and the process was super easy. Glad I selected this location

I borrowed a cart and left my ID with the employees at the front desk. When I came back to return the cart and get my ID, both of the employees took their lunch at the same time. When they came back with their food, they just ignored me and went the back. All I needed was my ID back. This is completely unacceptable for all employees to take their lunch break at the same time and more so when they just ignore me and go to the back. Doesn’t seem like customer service is a priority here.

I have had different units through the years at this Public Storage and others in Long Beach, Phoenix, etcetera, and always have had the best experience in all cases. Even if there was an issue, such as payment restructure, or a possible break-in, or an issue involving an insect infestation, they did what they could do within their power to solve the problem and make the situation a good one. That's what you look for in business especially when your personal belongings are involved. I can't say anything negative because there has never been anything negative that did not get fixed if they have the opportunity. By the way, for this review,Tina at the Cherry Location, and her staff, and Juan at the South Street Location, and his staff are the Managers and employees that currently take care of me now, and it's a pleasure to let you know who you are dealing with and they will take good care of you too...!!! Husband and I rented a storage unit today with Tina. She was very knowledgeable and has worked with company for 20 years. She was very nice when a repairman came rushing in abruptly requesting to get in gate because he got a call someone was stuck in elevator. Tina heard nothing of anyone being stuck. I thought repairman was very rude. Come to find out problem was being handled and client wasn’t really stuck like elevator error. Just human error. Area is clean and units are clean. Office very organized. So if your looking for a storage units in Long Beach area try visiting Tina at Public Storage.

I moved in and realized I needed a larger storage unit. Tina and Danianita were very helpful in making this transfer smooth and easy. I still had to pay but Tina notated my account so it would be waived for my free month. Moving can be stressful but it went as smooth as it could go. Thanks Ladies.
