I had accidentally picked the wrong size unit, and Wende did an amazing job helping me choose the correct size unit for my needs. She explained everything clearly and i had no issues with anything. All in all, I had an amazing experience

EDIT: This used to be a five-star review. At the moment I signed up, everything seemed great. Read on to see why it's not: The employees are rude and unwelcoming. I had just bought my unit, and was there less than one hour getting it organized, and I was told that I cannot "hang out" at the facility. Now, after that, I feel rushed. Every time I am at the storage facility, I am nervous for one of the employees to pass by on their checks and misperceive me as someone loitering. I am not including other minor incidents in this review because I think, from what I have said already, it is sufficient to say: the employees have not been good to me. I regret choosing this to be my storage location. For how expensive my unit is, I wish I received appropriate consideration and respect. I do not recommend this place at all. Please, do yourself this good: choose a storage facility with a more welcoming and affordable atmosphere.

Don't rent from here! Had a parking spot for over 8 years and not only did they increase the rent drastically every 6-12 months, but they also continually made new demands on what their rules are.

I needed a place fast. The place is wonderful.

Watch out. Price and description aren’t the same. The promotion for a 5x5 on a “small storage” is not right, the correct price is $55/month. They trick me with the “special” price now I’m stuck with my tiny storage for a month, and I couldn’t even fit my stuff on the storage. When doing the contract online it always mention a “5x5 storage” The term “small locker or 5x5x4” wasn’t mention until they send the confirmation email after you pay. Admin fee is not refundable after you complete the contract online… smart huh? The manager told me to call corporate & wasn’t helpful at all. When I showed her the website and all the process on how I did the contract she didn’t even wanted to look at it, online it does not reveal the proper size of the unit until you pay.

I've had a unit for little over a year outside and never had any problems at all. The staff was very nice, specifically Lori. She was very professional and helpful and I will definitely be using Public Storage again if need!

If I could give negative stars I would. I called a month ago to ask about the policy on cutting a lock. I was informed it is done “…at the end of the month” but was not given an exact date. Whoever was filling in for Lori was everything except friendly or helpful. Just a plain B really. Just overall condescending, everything was “legally speaking,” no customer service whatsoever, says cutting locks they pressure you to buy isn’t customer service, and says she isn’t a tech person so she cant reset my password online or help me with the app. BUYER BEWARE.

I see Lori cleaning the property inside and outside on daily basis.. Her customer service stands out as a big asset to the company.

Lori was very helpful and friendly during my check-in. EDIT: While Lori and the staff were really nice during my initial purchase (initial review was 5 stars), it is important to note for budgeting purposes that your rate will likely increase after the initial 6 month period. My rate increased by $62 after the first 6 month period. The rental contract allows rate increases with 30-day notice provided to the customer. The only notice I received was via a snail mail paper notice, which was not received 30 days prior to the scheduled increase. If you are considering Public Storage, please note that I had an over 20% increase in my price after the initial 6 months. It is likely that is standard procedure based upon the other comments for this location. I spoke to management as soon as I saw my next bill had increased for the coming month, they advised it was adjusted based on market price. Not sure how the market increased over 20% in 6 months. I'm also not sure how much the individual office has control over pricing as compared to management, but I suspect they have the ability to control pricing to an extent. Therefore, staff is very friendly but expect the initial price offered to only last for 6 months and a likely 20% increase after a 6 month period and based on other comments, will likely continue each 6 month period thereafter.

I have been renting here for 6 months and Jennifer always goes above and beyond in customer service. I wish there were more stars.

I find it as bad service to raise the rent of my unit from 157 to 215 while I'm deployed to Afghanistan as a business practice. I talked to the general manager and all she said was I understand but you are saving money. Raising my rent 30% on military folks deployed is bad business and I feel the company should be held responsible. I've asked for a end unit to back my trailer into for 6 months and she has not been able to produce but she did produce a increased rate in under 6 months. I just think that with all the pro military stuff going on I would think that businesses would take care of us but she didn't care. Didn't try to keep my business. Just asked with glee when do you plan on moving out so I can put it up as available. Someone in corporate sales should know these practices. Now I have to get friends and family to remove the stuff. Poor and unethical business practice. Update: The organization gave me some discount but still raised the rent approx. 15%. It was enough to make it feel better. The company is trying to keep their reputation clean. I can respect that.

First off, this was my third place that I had tired to rent a unit. The first two couldn't deliver on what they advertised. Not only did Public Storage deliver on their advertised offer, Ms. Lori was so wonderful in helping me select the best unit for my needs. She went out of my way to accommodate me. Took the one on one time to show me how to access my unit, work the locking system and confirm my gate code worked. She was so friendly and patient with me, especially since I arrived unannounced (they're trying to keep appointments during this time of quarantine) AND I turned up with a sour attitude since I had already been to two other places. Excellent customer service, lots of storage options and a competitive rate. You won't go wrong storing your goods at this location.

I rate this experience with Public Storage 1 star due to the EXTREMELY rude front desk manager Lori, or whatever her title may be. On many occasions she greeted my mother, myself and my sister with great disrespect. At one point, we even contacted her boss to discuss her bad attitude. When we finally decided to close the account, we had to remove the last of our belongings. Understood. But during that final week we were moving things out, my father had just died of Alzhiemers at Life Path Hospice at Sun City Center in which Lori showed no compassion and she charged my mom late fees - IN WHICH MY MOM HAD NEVER BEEN LATE BEFORE IN THE 3 YEARS WE WERE WITH THEM - and cut my mom no slack given the circumstances we were under and during that final week. In addition, Lori was instructed to call my moms number that was on file (that's whose name the account was in). Lori didn't! She kept calling ME instead! Being extremely nasty, harassing me - leaving at least 6 voicemails and at least 9 missed phonecalls on my phone. My mother called Lori and asked her why she wasnt calling HER (as in why wasnt she calling my mom) and why she was calling me - i had nothing to do with the account. If you decide to go to this location - realize you're dealing with someone who has ice water running through their veins. There are so many other storage places out there. Don't choose this location at least!

My first experience was rushed. I could not grasp everything Lori was telling me in 5 minutes. I walked in 15 minutes before closing to reserved a storage unit. I understand people want to go home after work, but if a customer is needing assistance, then I firmly believe customers are first. If Lori did not want to serve her customers then she should lock the doors 1/2 hour before closing time 6pm. I felted like she was bothered by trying to reserve a unit in 15 minutes. Let's just say I got the worst unit in that place. I do want to give a big THANK YOU to Phil Akins the District Manager and Danielle for resolving the issue. They were both very professional, helpful and very nice. Danielle definitely took her time with me and assisted me with a smile. I'm updating my review because my issues were resolved immediately by the District manager and Danielle. I'm a very happy camper!! THANK YOU!!!!

Had appointment today got there early and Lori checked her schedule to make sure she didn't have another appointment and she took me early showed me the unit I wanted and When we got to the unit it was too big. so she asked what all I had to store took me to another unit and it was perfect. In-store staff is great, but corporate billing bites. I had a bigger unit, and about 6 months later, price went up 20%. I downsized to a different unit. 5 months later, price jumped 25%. The price advertised on the web for the same unit is still my old price. Great for short term rentals, but they like to screw you over if you're a long term customer.

They used to be a lot better. I seen a lot of people moving out today. It seems they rather give deals to the people that's coming in New the people that have already been there. Every six months they evaluate you and will go up on the price but they don't never go down.

Prices are high like most storage places are. However, the people working this location were nice and explained everything. Do not expect to get it for the listed price, there are other required fees, like insurance and buying the lock. Also don't forget they will randomly "In keeping up with our high standards of location storage, it’s occasionally necessary to make adjustments to our rates. " Ours went up 21% after 3 months, thanks Public Storage.

AWESOME is the one word description. There may be cheaper places but the Mgr, Lori, makes this location the best choice as far as I am concerned. 5 stars are not enough, I would give 10 if the option were there. The place is kept clean and the service is next to none. Lori made sure we had the space we needed and helped find a vacant locker near an entrance because I am partially disabled. I accidentally dropped my keys and, thanks to another patron turning them in (thank you if you are reading this!!!) and Lori's efforts they were returned to me in very short order. Unexpected excellence. I read with some interest a couple of less than stellar reviews and was amazed at them. I have had storage here off and on for almost 5 years and have NEVER seen or heard any allegations of theft, poor treatment or anything at all negative. I am not calling anyone a liar BUT I will suggest that some of the negatives stated may be because the renter didn't understand the contract or the realities of life. Sorry to go on so long but I defend good places as I defend my friends---good businesses, properly run, are as rare as a truly good friend and MUST be defended.

Buyer beware they have a new policy change and they start d this in June. Even though I signed a contract in May they are enforcing it. You will be charged a full month for any day of any month you occupy the unit even the first day move out. I got charged 114 for July today. Jennifer the attendant was not only unaplogetic but more than happy to let me know about the policy. She also deleted my I formation so I couldn't provide my phone number or account number to the automated system to dispute this with corporate. They should be sued. Beware they get to make double rent on that unit this month. Also if you call reservations be and let them know your having trouble getting through you'll be hung up on. Lori is a fabulous manager but with Jennifer around and the new policy your sure to have issues.

Excellent customer service at this facility. Manager Lori was friendly and helpful on the phone when I called to make an appointment and couldn't be nicer when I got on the premises. We drove around in a golf cart viewing the various options and she let me make up my own mind without any sales pitch. The property is clean and she made sure to stop and pick up any debris as we went along showing extreme pride and care. Who ever owns this franchise is very lucky to have Lori in charge!

This was my first time ever renting a storage unit and i simply did not have one thing go wrong. Lori was a great manager, very thorough and has wonderful people skills. The property was always spotless and quiet, we never saw any bugs or had problems with the security. If I ever have to rent again Lori's PS will be my first choice no questions asked!!!!

I make trips to this facility to place or retrieve items for a friend. I am impressed by the cleanliness of the property and the ease of access. There have been two price increases which I am told is driven by the demand of unit size in the area. One item that is disappointing is there used to be a handcart for use in each building. Because of theft, only one cart is available chained at the office. This makes it necessary to take the time to walk to the office and trade your drivers license for the cart. Upon completion of use, you then need to walk the cart back and retrieve your license. The manager, Lori, is friendly and helpful, as well.

Debi did a great job helping me get set up with my new account. No hassles, only took about 20 minutes from start to finish. Even before finding the right unit, Lori and Debi kept in contact with me to let me know if what i was looking for became available.

We were referred to this location (Lumsden) after visiting another nearby location, where the manager (Mary) suggested that the Lumsden facility might be better suited to our needs. (Great teamwork - much appreciated!) At the Lumsden location, we were met by Debi, who was a real pleasure to work with! She showed us the unit we'd be renting, and made sure we understood the contract and terms. Debi has a wonderful personality, with excellent communications skills, and actually made the whole process of renting a storage unit enjoyable and fun!

Intitall experience was AMAZING!!!! We received a call quickly after reserving a unit and set up initial processing. Upon arrival to meeting we met with Debi who was a sweet heat and very informative. She made our experience very stress free and full of laughs. Thanks Debi you rock!!!!!

Prices are ok. Ants in the storage unit not ok. I understand that adjoining units can cause the problem but as a commercial storage facility they should treat each unit prior to rental. This would in essence create a barrier that lasts for a reasonable period of time. I have ants less than a month into a new rental.

Lori has lied on multiple occasions about fees and the Pro rate charges . Not a very honest company .... I was advised by Lori herself that all I needed was a couple days notice before I left and the rest would be prorated ... I wasn't able to move in the beginning of the months due to rain but on the 8th it was a clear day so I scheduled to do the move since they wanted to raise my monthly rate considerably turns out that I find out that the prorate was only until the 6th of the month and that I had to pay almost $200 for a unit worth $114 be the prorate did not apply . Lori seems very pleasant and nice when you first meet her but beware of the false information she gives you ... it may cost you considerably ... I will never use public storage again nor recommend it ! Very awful customer service when it comes to resolving customer issues ...

the first day was rough (but probably my own fault) but Lori, the manager was awesome and totally changed my perspective around! She was kind and friendly and super helpful. Never having used a storage facility before, I was full of questions. Kyle helped me on the first day and tried to answer my questions as best as possible, however, I know I was probably one of the annoying, overbearing customers. All in all, I would totally recommend this establishment!!

Someone tried to break in to my unit. Instead of being sympathetic, they charged me fees to move to another unit and told me it must be someone i know. No one knew i had the unit but i would have thought they would at least waive the fees. Got my stuff out of there and wont ever use them again.

I received a phone call from the property manager Lori, saying that it was time to pay my bill and that I knew the name of the game. Although I had moved in on the 16th of the month before, I know from being a former employee when the last day is for me to pay. The message she left was very unprofessional and damn near rude. Then I went to the property on the 30th of august and the rep that was there went to show a unit and did not put the sign in the door to say when she would be back and then when she got back did not unlock the door. As I walked in she did not greet me and was by no way in uniform. She had on red pants rolled up and piercings in her lip and face. When did that become acceptable and or professional. Did not smile at all with the guy she was helping either. Had I been a shopper she would have failed miserably.

Lori, the clerk that works in the office on Lumsden, is very courteous and respectful. She's alway nice and has a good attitude

I used the Public Storage in Brandon off Lumsden and was very well taken care of. Facilities were exactly what I needed. the staff was always helpful. A great overall experience. Definitely would use them again.

When I called to get a unit Lori was very attentive and helpful in figuring out what unit would best suit my needs. This was my first time getting a unit and I was a bit nervous about it until she started explaining how the whole process works and was very calming. When I arrived to see my unit she again was very attentive with explaining how the unit works, how future payments can be set up, and was very patient with my abundance of questions. I would recommend this public storage facility 100% and I trust in the security of all my belongings!!
