Terrible service, I pay $300 monthly and I don’t have access to my property 24 hrs. After calling in I was denied access to drop off said items and to collect my medication but a friend of mine was granted access after closing hrs and the ONLY difference was..he is white and wanted to sell his car in storage and I am not white and wanted my medication and to drop off more items. Beware people, DIRTY business practices = Public Storage.

I wasn't at the public storage I was actually at a very beautiful little quaint family store called the rainbow it is a very nice place to shop for simple things only thing you can't get there is gas you can even get clothes there everything they have there is fresh and ready just for you I love to travel to this quaint little store call the Rainbow Market that is located in by that public storage I guess you have to go there to see tell them Bridget sent you very beautiful Indian people

I was not told nor aware of the price hiking every 6 months. I could rent a studio apartment for not much more.. Bill was rude and no help when trying to rectify the above situation! And to make matters worse rat traps have been placed out front of the units! We will be moving our belongings promptly!

Ok, but pricey for an old storage place, and we're gonna move since they close at 9 pm and we need later access. It's a convenient location just need 24 hour access.

Good service and thorough

After 2 years of being a customer at Public Storage in Clearwater (Highland Avenue), I am still impressed with the customer service. I go by there pretty much everyday and am always greeted with a wave and smiling face from the window. Although not many, Bill is always on top of any issues they may come up and things are corrected/fixed right away. I feel safe with my belongings at this facility and highly recommend!

I have been in the process of moving the last few weeks and everything that could go wrong has, so it's been a nightmare. The only shining light so far was the property manager, Bill. When I realized that everything that was in my moving truck was not going to fit into the unit I had rented, Bill went out of his way to try an find a solution for me. I almost had to rent another unit, which would have been another added expense on my quickly shrinking budget, but with his help, I was able to make the unit I already had work. He is a gem and I am grateful to have chosen this particular Public Storage location. Thank you Bill!

Way overpriced. I'm paying almost $200/mo for a 20x10 unit that's outside... Not even climate controlled. Always have debris blown into my unit. Constantly having to sweep out the place, sometimes twice a week. Not what I was expecting.

Public Storage and Bill were a great experience! I never had any problems getting in or out. Everything was always tidy and neat. Bill was there on duty and ready to help or to answer questions. I really appreciated that. It was great that there was a place to put my flattened boxes to recycle and a place to toss some trash. So convenient! I would recommend Public Storage to anyone who needs storage.

Linda was extremely helpful in finding a storage unit. She provided insights i hadn't thought of to make the most of the storage. When we had to move to a different location Public was very accommodating and quick to transfer all the necessary paperwork. I was completely impressed with their service.

I've had my things stored here for over a year now and it has always been an easy and smooth process getting in and out to my belongings. I recently had to change the lease over from a previous tenant' name over to my own and a manager by the name of Linda made this an incredibly pleasent and easy experience! She even helped me load my crockpot into the car from my unit since I'm hobbling around on crutches with a splinted leg. 10/10 would recommend and definitley suggest you stop by to say hi to Linda or any other of their friendly staff!

POS they didn't hold on to family remains of cremated relatives they were told on several occasions, we begged them to let us come retrieve them before they auctioned it. they said no.after they auctioned it they said that they hold things like that in case people need it they lied, they never how old anyting. this place should be shut down 4 abuse of corpses.

This is the worst esperince I have ever had. The office manager is rude and cares about no one including bussiness. He cut the lock on my unit before it was ever late and went through my stuff. I had stuff missing when I was finally able to access my until. I never got the promation that I was promised on $1 for a month to move my stuff there. I paid full months each month inculdong the 3 days for the first month. My move out was on the second of the month and was made to pay the full 230 dollars to access my stuff. The district manager got on the phone with me and made threats that I wouldnt have any access to my stuff if I continued to be upset. I was never giving a copy of a lease that I supposedly singed and I was told oh that os sent to your email. The funny thing about that I didnt give my email until I needed to make my payment online and had to update to be allowed to pay online. This place of bussiness should be closed. On top of all of this when I was moving my stuff out I noticed there was mold and meldew on most of all of it. The roof was falling in and leaking and they do not keep their property up. Then when I asked the manager he said its notnhis responsibility... So whos responsibility is it to keep up the building to keep the stuff of their renters up? So to anyone who thinks it is worth renting here I would not this is the kost horriable place I have ever used or had an esperince with. They will cut your lock and then argue with you and not allow you to access your belongings of they choose. I have pictures and proof of all of these if anyone needs to see them.

The location I am reviewing is on Highland Ave, Clearwater, FL... My belongings were stolen from my shared storage unit some time after 2/2/17. Come to find out, my ex Patricia Lynn King aka Trisha King (who I shared the unit with) had the locks and gate code changed without my knowledge on 2/2/17, and some time in the following week approximately $8,000 dollars worth of my things were stolen. There was no forced entry on the unit door, so it was pretty obvious who stole them. All I can say is that for some reason, the local manager treated me like the criminal, even though I was the only one paying the monthly bill. They refused to help me personally with any information regarding what had happened, they refused to speak to the Clearwater Police about the facts of what happened and refused to even let myself or the police view the video footage from the gate. Upstanding, nice, helpful manager they have chosen to represent their company in Clearwater, FL!!!

Great place, have lots of options in sizes, outside or inside units, you can upgrade if needed. Only thing some people might not like is that you cannot go in after 9pm, so have that in mind, if you need a 24 hour access you have to look elsewhere. I'm guessing that's why is a little more affordable. Staff is very likable.

Along with a couple different sized units of I ever wanted to upgrade to a bigger size storage container, and the super big plus; is convenient.. because I live a block away on Sunset Point/Highland Ave... thanks for taking the time for the pleasant experience. We had a storage unit rented at another location and my husband went for the first time to drop off some boxes and discovered our unit wasn't available even though we had put a deposit down. Planning my move to clearwater was becoming very stressful due to the fact my apartment would not be ready in time for my move. I visited several storage facilities in the area and was highly impressed with the public storage facility and the manager Bill. He was very friendly and halpful.

Public Storage is an affordable lifesaver. I want to thank Bill in particular for making this an easy process, it took the edge off of a crisis situation. I feel much better knowing my belongings are stored in a secure, climate controlled lock-up.

Public Storage usually does a good job, but this location run by Bill & Judd is outstanding. The facilities are nice & clean & on a hill for drainage. But Bill & Judd make the difference here...they are honest, nice, helpful, friendly, etc. I recommend this location to anyone in the general area who needs storage space, from a closet size to a full house unit.

Bill was helpful yet all hell broke lose. I had my things in there for a month. Went to get it all and LOST EVERYTHING to rats!! They pooped and pissed on everything, bit holes in my mattresses! I have no beds, no sofa, lost photos and clothes that are covered in rat pee. Even found a dead rat! Horrible horrible place! All this happened to my within a month!

I went to this location to make a payment and it was closed for lunch. Bill, the manager, happened to see me, stopped what he was doing and came to assist me in making the transaction. The place was clean and Bill was super nice! It also had a bathroom which was a real plus when you are spending lots of time organizing your stuff! Bill helped me with my rubbish and even opened the gate for me when he saw me coming! Thank you so much Bill for your hospitality!

I have never used public storage before so I was really dependent on the manager to assist me in my decision. Bill was tremendously helpful in guiding me to the right size of storage unit. The size I originally requested was not going to hold all my items but I would not have been aware of that if Bill had not asked the right questions and pointed out the potential issues. I had forgotten about this location and am glad I found it again. There used to be a gas station at the other end of the strip center and now there is not. The entrance looks much better and is well maintained. I was really glad to learn that the manager lives on site to keep an eye on your property and our possessions. Bill was very helpful in describing the rental specials and is an asset to your company.

I had been having issues getting assistanc with my account. Since my name was listed as an authorized and emergency contact no one would speak with me regarding my account, which is in my husnad's name (Darryl). I saw all the stars near Bill so I decided to check with Bill. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a very caring attitude with regard to my issue. He was very pleasant to work with.
