Adequate facility but the customer service is often not even around. The positive is that the facility and units are in adequate condition. There's not a huge amount of upkeep on the inside, with insulation sheets from the unfinished ceiling sometimes hanging loose and water easily pooling near the doors when it rains. Otherwise, it's just fine. I've had some awful trouble getting in touch with the property manager when I needed them - probably 9 times out of 10, no one would answer the phone, and then it was a 50/50 shot if they'd return my voice mail. When I've been able to chat with someone, they were, at least, polite and helpful.

This has been the most pleasant experience. The site administrator is always helpful and knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the property. I truly appreciate the assistance and effectiveness of Stephanie's management of this property.

Storage is fine, but communication and getting deliveries to the unit is an absolute disaster. I pay over $200 a month only to book a more expensive and earlier flight from a business trip just to receive a delivery. They didn't have the spare key I gave them months ago with a release form I signed. It reappeared when I returned to take it back.

The customer service at this store is PHENOMENAL!!!! Both Phil and Stephanie are rockstars!! If you are looking for a location with people that care look no further. Trying to secure rental for full home out of town move...while you're in and out of the area is no easy task. Stephanie got us rolling with our first unit- again ROCKSTAR customer service!!! Then when I needed the second unit and needed to book from out of state Phil picked up the ball and was RELENTLESS in making sure I got the needed space. Not to mention they keep the space immaculate. Having to store your full home in public storage is not an ideal situation but with this team at this location... I know I'm good !!! I must say I use storage all the time from city to city and some customer service workers can show that they are unhappy in their job. I had the pleasure of a young lady name Moriah who was cheerful, helpful and just a pleasure to do business with. She serviced me from the moment I walked in until the end where she walked me to the door. Her customer service was awesome. No one knows whats going on in another persons life when they meet them. I always treat people the way I want them to treat me. Moriah showed compassión in my situation for storage as I am new to Ft. Myers. If I had wrote a review when I first rented this space I would’ve have all good things to say just like the other folks on However it wasn’t until after I moved out I learned differently. A day after I moved from this storage to another another public storage in another city I realized several of my items were missing. I’m supposed to start a new job on August 3rd and an item I need for that job along with other valuables all gone. I called to asked about it and got a very defensive employee on the line. No empathy no nothing just rude and defensive. I feel if a customer calls in and you right away gets defensive that tells me I’m not the first one this has happened too. I told the lady that there were used can sodas can in my storage by the door which was not by me and yet she screamed defensively at me. No matter what they say about no one having access I know that someone was in my unit and stole my items. Shame on you public storage for your lack of customer support in this. I will call the insurance company yes but still don’t care for attitude towards in all of this.

Public storage has always been my go to storage company when I need storage. Me and my wife have been renting at this facility for about 3 years now. I was at my unit and the property manager Michael stopped and started conversating with my wife and I. Each time I come to the facility its clean, well lit, and secure. Property manager diana was the one who helped me with my move in and was great. Mike asked if u could leave a review so others can be informed about business and location. I highly recommend this facility over majority around the area due to security concerns. Their staff is absolutely amazing when needing any kind of help. They are prompt and professional. I have been using this Public Storage location for the last few years. The staff and property manager have always been fair, kind, professional and accommodating to my needs. Rachel did an excellent job assisting me with my situation. As I began to outgrow the storage unit I was renting, I was considering getting two units which would have cost me a lot more. Rachel took the time to speak with me about options that would work for my needs. Instead of getting two storage units, she recommended that I move from one unit to a larger unit that had just become available. This resulted in a savings of over $200/month in cost. I can highly recommend working with this property. My only complaint about the organization is that there is a rate increase every 6 months which the organization claims is based on "market value" which we all know is simply untrue. They raise rates over time, bottom line and that is a corporate policy and I believe it is a common practice in the industry as well because I did at one time shop around. Of course we all know that rates only increase, they never decrease. Other than the rate increase issue, my experience in working with Public Storage has been good and if you are a short term renter, then the rate increases will probably not affect you.

With my arrival and check-in, I was greeted by Carmen. She was very helpful with the entire process. Very professional, effective, and efficient with her directions/suggestions of my unloading and storing goods into my unit. I would highly recommend you ask for her with any of your storage needs.

Other than my rent being jacked up after less than 6 months of renting, everyone I've dealt with there has been wonderful and especially Rachel. Rachel is very professional in that if she doesn't know the answer to any of your questions, she will look to find it for you. She answered all my questions to my satisfaction and full understanding. They should not ever let Rachel go.

I had the best experience working with the Staff at Public Storage. I was selling my home and needed to move clutter out my house. I looked online for places. I found a few facilities in my area and went to visit. I met with Diana and Tiffany. They explained the process ery eell, and I never felt they were hard selling me. I went online to make a reservation. When I got there on Sunday, as I was walking in the door, Tiffany said " Welcome back". Also thanking me for choosing Public Storage. It has been a great experience.

My first experience was with Diana. She was very helpful and called me as soon as I made an online reservation. Tiffany helped me with my second reservation and found the perfect spot! Best storage experience I’ve ever had.

I love this storage facility. Barbara was super helpful today in getting me set up with auto pay. I also love dealing with Dian. She's been there for a while (like 13 years I believe) and she remembered me after only seeing me once and helped me downsize as I didn't need all the space I was paying for. They have an excellent system there with a personal code to access the property whether by the main gate through your vehicle or through the front door by the office. My only complaint is that they are very willing to send you an a notification for a past due payment and have already added your $20 late fee to your bill but they don't have any option to add a notification to remind you your payment is due. The only way to avoid a late fee is to get an invoice notification after you passed your payment date or setup auto pay. But since these are both ways to avoid a late fee I won't dock them a star even though I feel they aren't the best solution for everybody. Moreover the facility and staff make up for this so I definitely recommend this place for all your storage needs.

First let me say that Diana, the manager is absolutely wonderful. She's friendly, helpful, and when there were multiple customers inside, she was able to multitask with the utmost efficiency. The other staff I bumped into (cleaners, maintenance) were incredibly nice as well. My unit was clean and the interior of the building is well-kept. The reason I'm giving 4/5 is *not* because of the staff or facilities, but because of one of the other customers who rents a unit here. I'm pretty sure this customer is living inside her storage unit, which I couldn't care less about - it's the fact that this customer seems to creep on other storage renters, myself included. At all times of the day. 7am and you want to move stuff in before work? That creeper woman is there. 11pm and you want to move some stuff before calling it a day? That woman is hovering over your shoulder, sees you notice her, then scampers down the hall like a mouse. I was informed that the staff has already given that customer a warning. Not sure if that customer is still there, but I didn't feel safe after-hours without staff members around.

STAY AWAY! Worst customer service and facility ever. Went to my unit to find a huge hole in the wall I could climb through between my unit and the 1 next door. I told the office and was told “it’s unlikely they will steal all your stuff, but you can move it all yourself to another unit.” How can you NOT be alarmed when strangers have access to $250,000 worth of my personal property because the walls of your building are falling apart? And I am expected to physically move it all myself!

Excellent place to store your goods!! I only give them 4 stars because the lighting around my unit is not functioning at the time of my move in and it was fairly dark unless I ran to the next isle to trigger the lighting over there. I'll definitely give them the 5 stars they deserve when it is corrected.

Upon being courteously greeted by Front Desk Manager, Kathe Shea, I was taken directly to the storage unit I had previously reserved by phone. I was able to inspect the unit, and it was very clean and exactly as I expected. She left the empty unit open so my husband and movers crew could immediately begin unloading our moving truck. Kathe then worked with me to complete all the paperwork, and purchase a lock. This really helped us because we were paying the movers by the hour, and they didn't have to wait while we did the administrative "stuff." Kathe was awesome!! She mentioned she had only been working there for 3 weeks, so I must say that Public Storage has a great training program and hires very competent people. Way to go, Public Storage!!!
