About East Brunswick

Not to be mistaken for New Brunswick, East Brunswick is a township in New Jersey's Middlesex County and is part of the New York City metropolitan area. It's among the largest communities in the county and has been growing steadily for decades. Thanks to a well-developed network of highways and public transportation, it's very easy to travel between East Brunswick and major destinations such as New York City, the Jersey Shore and a handful of airports.

The History of East Brunswick

In the 1600s, settlers from Germany, Scotland and other European countries settled in the area after coming to a peaceful agreement with the local Native American tribes. Most of those early residents built their homes near local rivers.
