Storage is good. Access is GREAT! Especially now with their app! The main manager, Ron, is fabulous. Had a minor problem and he got it resolved to my satisfaction. Really nice guy to work with. Public Storage requires you to have insurance, for your own protection. It's $15/month for $5,000 in coverage, which is plenty for what most people are storing. However, if you have homeowner's insurance, CALL YOUR AGENT. In Pennsylvania, by law, your homeowner's policy already covers you under your "personal property" coverage. But, if you don't have any other insurance that would cover your possessions here, PS's insurance is an easy add to your rental bill.

My friend recommended the Public Storage on Byberry Road and asked me to speak with Ron. When I arrived I saw Ron sweeping with a broom outside the office. He immediately stopped cleaning and came to assist me. The process of getting a storage space was extremely easy and painless. Within a few minutes Ron showed me an available storage space and completed the paperwork. I was very impressed because I didn't think that getting storage will be that easy. I can't believe that they are trying to charge me 3h dollars when my units been unsecured for 2 hole month contractors been out there 3 or 4 times and you can still open my unit even wit the lock on it the guy Ron that works there is The best guy there everyone ele that works there been Ignorant but ron he even witnessed that this been going on he been going beyond call of duty to try and get it fixed and it's been a big and giant run around to try for someone to either give me credit because I have had to Secure my unit it my dame self

I’ve been renting on and off at the Byberry Rd location 15 + years. It’s by far the cleanest property I’ve seen. The location manger Ron Roberts has done an incredible job. He recently did a transfer for me, that he suggested that better suited my needs. Ron is always friendly, and does whatever he can to ensure a pleasant rental experience.

She got me the right size unit and helped me set up my online account and public storage app. The gate code wasn't working properly when I came yesterday but Chelsie assured me she would have it fixed by today. Sure enough when I showed up at 9:30am Chelsie had my gate code working. I am impressed with the service and cleanliness of this property. I will continue to recommend this to my friends and coworkers. 10/10!

This location was very unprofessional and it felt like they were trying to fill up their units without any knowledge of the area. Stephanie, who worked at the front desk, lied to us and told us that they have tractor trailer accessibility but in reality, they didn't. Because of this I had to book a unit at another facility, the same day as our delivery because our moving truck couldn't get to Public Storages location. Thank God for "Extra Space Storage!" They were able to handle everything we needed and was way more professional. I will never use Public Storage in the future!

People BEWARE! Moved out on last day of April, notified property manager and continued to receive monthly charges in May. Property and district managers fail to respond resulting in Allied Interstate collection agency involvement. To avoid financial headaches STAY AWAY!!! Update. The only way to stop this nightmare was to file a complaint with the BBB. Within 2 weeks after filing problem was resolved.

When I moved out 10×5 in to 10x10 the told me all the days I did not use the storage I lost it so ok no problem then after I paid for the 10×10 the tell me u have to move the dont want me there so I told the manager find i move but u have to give me my money back the manager said no I can do the u going to lost tow so I told him im not moving out then the tell me ok gives Sametime we get back to you the come back and say ok no problem you can stay but you have 2 /3 months to move we don't want you here I said ok no problem when do I have to move by 30th so I did so now I get email saying the I moved out on 12/02/2020 I TRY CALLING tow different manager and no one want to help this place is scams and the will but this bill on your credit i will never recommend anyone to go to this place

Stephanie hooked me up fast easy and safe. Property is clean new pavement. Tell the city to fix pot hole on rd I'm brining asphalt with me next time! lol.

Melanie helped us out so much. She helped decide which unit was best for us and got us the lowest price. She kept the office open a few minutes late for us to finish everything we needed to do!

As a first time customer I rented this location on 09/23/2020. On the first day I was told to pay on 10/23 to avoid the late fee and I received a reminder call stating the same as well. I paid my bill on the 23rd but was charged a late fee anyway. I called Stephanie who told me that if I wrote a 5 star review for her she would waive the fee as a courtesy for a first time customer. I did so. She said she would call me to confirm the fee was waived, but did not do so until the 25th telling me the fee could not be waived. I was not late. I should not have been charged the late fee. I will dispute this charge with corporate. Again Stephanie does not deserve a 5 star review as she requested and then not coming through after making a promise. She is very unprofessional and unethical to say the least. I would not recommend this location.

I was asked from this lovely employee name Stephanie to give her a google review so I said why not since she always nice to me and greets me every day while I’m on the property . She keep the property nice and clean and she always working hard out on the property , Byberry property is always clean .

I highly recommend this facility due to my numerous positive experiences with the staff. Stephanie especially, has always been courteous, professional, friendly and extremely helpful. It's even worth it to fight the Byberry Rd. traffic for the excellent customer service.

Very efficient staff. We booked a storage late in the evening and the unit was ready to go in the morning. Some delay to get going in the morning because of the virus, but Stefany went out of her way to accommodate us. Whished all businesses would run this way.

Hello, I have been renting a unit at the byberry road (23103) location since January 2020. I must say I am more then happy with everything at public storage. Iris who runs this location does a amazing job with customer service and running this facility. Iris always goes out of her way to ask how I'm doing and always asks if I need anything, all while having a huge smile on her face! I wish we had more people like her in this world! She makes me feel very comfortable everytime I am there. The place is always well kept and secure. Thanks Iris for everything you have done for me at this location. Keep up the good work!!!!

I literally do not recommend for anyone to use this public storage. I literally have email confirmation stating that I was to move out on May 29th 2020 the email states that it's sorry to see me go and try to retain me by knocking $20 off my bill. yet I just got a call from the same public storage telling me that I owe them $153 because I forgot to remove a lock off my unit. even though the motorcycles that I had in storage unit aren't even in there anymore

Charged for 2 units after vacating the first unit the same day. The District Manager denied the request for a refund so we had to go his head to coorporate who was more than helpful to resolve the problem. Could not believe thet the DM would not refund us for the second unit when we upgraded to a bigger unit all in one day.

This review is not for the actual property but Public Storage in general. Be careful of the $1 first month special, in 4 months they raised my rent $25.00 and about 9 months after that they raised it another $35.00. I sent an email to complain and the response I got was I could move into another smaller unit and pay the same amount I was paying with my bigger unit. They just want to get you in then they will raise the rent quickly. I have had the unit for a little over a year and in that time they raised the rent $60.00.

Notice that almost all of the five-star reviews make the same fake points, have the identical grammatical errors, and were posted from accounts that have posted only one or two reviews. In other words, the rave reviews are fake and probably came from the owner. Poor security. Many of these units have been burglarized. As far as I know, the perps have never been caught. Be sure to buy insurance and/or only store inexpensive items. Also, the driveway at Byberry Road is very dangerous.

Sister was renting a space here prior to a move. Great pricing for a large storage area. Easy to reach off the blvd.

Some units were broken into because of the cheap locks. Make sure you have a good lock. The rents are high but the location is convenient.

Everything is a lie ! First day They pressure you into writing a GOOD review for them while they're charging you for a storage in their office. They watch you fill out the review infront of them, then they had a deal for a $1 storage but I ended up paying close to $80 because of the hidden fees. They don't want you "hanging around" your unit as they put it even if you're infront of your own storage that you pay for ! they Harass me and called the cops on me for pulling my storage down for privacy , I Will be relocating my belongings to a different storage one more friendlier and that's not just about taking your money and forcing you to write a review. I'm very unpleased 😠

I was driving by the place, on my way to complete a job for a client when I noticed this storage unit. We were renting one way across town and this one happened to be extremely close and exactly the right price. The sales attendant Caitlin was incredibly professional, prompt, and helpful. It made my moving experience way less stressful. I had a seriously good experience at this location. A+. Good business.

I rented from here for over a year. Generally, I had an overall good experience. Staff was friendly and helpful, when needed. When I went to staff about problems with the unit, they were addressed pretty quickly. Since these are outdoors units, they are subject to animals, insects and some elements.

Kate provides great service and made it very easy for us . I would recommend anyone to use this facility to store their things safely a plus

Props to the maintenance guy at the facility who noticed my Villanova hat and we did fist bumps for the NCAA champs. Keep up the great work.

Rose and Lakisha greeted us as soon as we walked In the building. They were very sweet and attentive, and both helpful. They were also hilarious and made us all laugh and feel at ease, plus made sure we had the maximum amount of security possible set up for our storage unit. It was wonderful.

So great! Easiest part of the move! Right off I-95 then off the end of 63... Rose, the manager there, was pleasant, funny and totally helpful- gave great recommendations and really looked out for me! Nice to have someone on your team during a stressful time! Got set up quickly with a unit with an easy pull up. Space was nice and clean with easy access. I stopped by public storage today I have been renting here for years. I was a little considered because I came to get into the storage unit but they were painting the doors. I went into the office and spoke to Sara instead of Rosie she was a wonderful girl she stopped what she was doing and went to my unit with me asked the workers if it was ok to open the door and they said yes thank the lord for that because I have a ton of work that needs to be done. Overall the nice girl who helped me asked me to write a review so here it is. I suggest everyone comes and rents here they keep up with the property and they are extremely friendly.

Sorry it took me so long to write a review I have been busy moving but of course I went online and made a reservation which was my best decision ever. I got a discount on top of it. The manager Sara helped me with everything from the lease to the gate codes. It was an excellent experience im happy I picked public storage to rent with

I called the call center weeks before I needed a unit just to find out pricing and availability. They talked me into reserving a unit. Then I called Rose at the office and she cancelled it but the call center kept calling me back to put the reserve back on. I finally started ignoring their calls. When I was finally ready I went in to see Rose and she set everything up with no hassles. Very down to earth, not trying to make a buck by pushing the product, just giving the customer what she wants! She went above and beyond to make us happy and gave us everything we needed. She is an excellent worker. Public storage should reward her for her efforts and work on their customer service skills in the call center.

I actually was so excited about the great customer service i received at this property i just had to share. Rose the property manager told me she would be off on friday 6-19-15 but I believe Sarah was the young lady who helped me. She was just so friendly. The location of the place is great and very clean on the grounds. They also had supplies for my move in. I needed a large box and was able to purchase one from them. Thanks for all your help

Just cleared out my storage unit today. The young lady Sarah was in the office on the phone she took time away from the phone call to help me. I told her I could wait and she explained it was a conference call and she could just get back on the line after she was done helping me.I was shocked I didn't see Rose but the new girl was extremely nice she tried to convince me to stay and downsize but I explained to her I don't have the extra money right now that's why I am leaving but surely I know I will be back to store more stuff and I am looking forward to working with them again. Also I promised Sarah I would give her a google review once I got home.

I've been renting from public storage for several years I been too several locations and I was very unsatisfied until I found the one on 1251 byberry Road Philadelphia PA 19116. When I first walked in the manager rose communication skills was beautiful she gave me the best rates, gave me the tour around the building and showed me that my belongings will be safe and secured inside a gate that you only have the access code to get in an out, in a clean safe environment
