Property Manager is great, very friendly, easy place to navigate. In this area, I got the best rate here, highly recommend.

The website worked perfectly, we received an instructional email just as advertised, and the unit was ready and waiting when we arrived. The entire facility, as well as our unit, was neat and clean. Moreover, as we were unloading, the Public Storage rep on duty (Robert) came to meet us at our storage unit to answer any questions we had and to ensure we had everything we needed. Top shelf service!

Rates frequently escalate for unreasonable justifications. Only had the small unit for a year and rates have risen twice. Ceilings fallen down in my unit section. Hours of operation are very short. Premises closes very early. Personnel is very nice and personable.

Customer service is terrible. The office is almost always closed. They do not return phone calls and when you send a message through the app, the response tells you to call or stop by, which is a waste of time. I had a billing question and called the main customer service number and they were rude and completely unhelpful and did not resolve my problem. I would never recommend Public Storage to anyone.

My first unit had issues. However, Ryan, the site manager was very helpful in securing a better unit. He provided excellent customer service. The location of this Public Storage is very convenient for me.

As a contractor the public storage self storage, has worked out rather nicely. They are close by my main area that I do business. I love that there main building in built part way into the ground, this gives the things I store protection from extreme heat and from freezing temperatures. The facilities are newly painted My only negative comment is... they are raising my rental which will likely drive me out, and after I've been here for many years. Oh well life goes on.

3 weeks later and I still can't get in during access hours, so many wasted trips, time and gas money... At least 8 trips during access hours wasted, and heaven forbid I actually get locked in, they'd never answer the phone... Absolute nightmare, only a week in. No managers present during office hours, no returned calls. Always someone else with an issue in line when someone finally is present. Changed access code the first day I went in as the initial did not function at all. Now the second code won't work on the app and I still get "after hours" notification and cannot access from 6am - 9pm as access should be. So many wasted trips, lost time, working on a short schedule. If this were a longer term storage I would have cut and run already, but I only need it a few months to sell my current home before military moves me. Also, the ceiling was quickly mended with tape and within 24 hours of moving in the tap came loose and a corner of the ceiling is hanging down - had it documented right away so it's not coming back on me but they can't/won't fix it. Grounds are ill-kept, lots of leaves not being blown on a regular basis which get in the way of moving and keeping it clean. Luckily haven't slipped yet on the debris either.

The manager, Willie, has provided exemplary service in setting me up with two storage units while I’ve coordinated a cross-country move. He’s been helpful, kind and patient when I’ve been confused or had trouble with a moving company. And he went above and beyond very recently when I unexpectedly became ill while I was at the facility. He checked my units, moved my car, let me rest in his office, and made sure I got safely into a Lyft to go home. He kept up a cheerful conversation to distract me from how bad I felt and called the next day to check on me. I can not recommend this location strongly enough and it is due to the management provided by Willie, who goes above and beyond. Came in today with a couple of questions about storage, u-haul, and other services. And Rob was very helpful, he pointed me to the right direction, his communication skills was very transparent. Thanks to Rob, I’ll for sure come back and even recommend Public Storage to friends and family.

Held a reservation online at this location and received a call saying I can come complete the registration in office the next day. Come next day, no one is at the office (sign says manager will return by 9:30... so he never even showed up at opening...) Making matters worst, the gate keypad isn't even working (lights are off and there are is no text) and I see other customers waiting outside trying to enter their keycode and can't get through the gate. Come back several hours later and even the next next day and still no one at the office and gate keypad is still OFF. Called the corporate number and they said they can't do anything about it and to just finish the registration online... I AM NOT FININSHING MY REGISTRATION ONLINE TO GET A KEYCODE THAT DOESN'T EVEN LET ME ACCESS THE STORAGE BECAUSE THE GATE KEYPAD ISN'T EVEN WORKING AND NO ONE HAS SHOWN UP AT THE OFFICE FOR THE PAST TWO DAYS.

I needed room to be able to thoughtfully review my household goods shipment following an unaccompanied overseas tour. All I needed was temporary space to add things back into the house and time to let go of other things. This storage company and location were perfect! The storage unit is password-protected, and I believe the passwords are individually distributed, so it would be simple to review logs for any questions regarding access or length of time onsite. The doors to the "cubbies" of units can be held open with bungee cords or ropes, making it quick to get everything into your unit---no need to keep opening the door while your hands are full. I was able to get everything into my unit without a lot of wasted movement---units are on the ground level, so no steps or elevators to negotiate. They offer discounts on the monthly storage fees if you provide documentation of military service or rental insurance. We arranged for our storage in-person, but online set-up is available, too. Our agent was knowledgeable in answering questions about the best size for our needs as well as informing us of discounts available. He escorted us to our unit and inspected it with us to ensure there were no problems. We are very satisfied with our decision to store our items at Public Storage, and we encourage you to take a look at Public Storage for your needs, whether temporary or long-term.

It's close to home, decent fees, all ground floor. But there are only two carts, one in each long building. And the entries to each building hallway has a 2" curb that's murder trying to get a full cart over and to your unit. And the handle comes off if you try to lift the cart. So annoying. Otherwise, I'm happy so far; this is my first week of moving in.

I've been to dozens of public storage places over the past few years and I've come encounter with many different sales clerks but Ms Tinaya was different, I was a lost about the storage unit I wanted but every question I had she has an answer for. While the facility itself is clean and secure, my 1- star review is focused on the Public Storage company as a whole. I rented a storage unit in late December 2018 using an online promotion price that was being offered for this particular location. In late April, I was notified via a postcard in the mail and via email my monthly fee would be INCREASED 33% per month. You read that right.... 33% monthly increase after just 4 months. Unbelievable. When I signed all of the paperwork to rent this unit, I was told that there be a small increase (I was told 5%) after a year or so... so I didn't think much of it. So, with that math formula, I should expect a 132% monthly increase by year's end?? I emailed the company and received a call back from a manager from the Guinea Road facility apologizing and said her district manager said that even with the 33% increase, I was still getting a better rate than the deal that was currently being offered. Are you kidding me? That is horrible customer service -- you are actually going to mock the customer for questioning such an absurd price hike? As a customer, I feel I am between a rock and a hard place. The company will price gouge a paying customer....simply because they can. Shame on you, Public Storage.

We had our unit for several years here and always received excellent service from both Willie and Thomas. Can't say enough about the location (half mile away) easy access and cleanliness (no bugs, standing water or rodents ever) of the buildings. Never a hassle with any other renters or staff. If I need a storage locker again, it will definitely be this one.

Units are big and while not air conditioned, stay fairly cool. The biggest downside is that the drywall ceiling fell down some and left debris over my stuff. Not too bad but annoying.

I'm pretty sure most of these reviews were posted by employees. I have rented quite a few storage units in the past to meet the needs of my job, all up and down the east coast, and this was a slightly below average facility with a completely unnacommodating staff. Might be fine for local, personal storage- business customers or people with more than the most basic needs should stay away. They are also expensive ($19 for a used disc lock that sells for 11 new) and have bs "administrative fees" tacked on to the already high unit cost.

Extremely easy and hassle free, which is always highly appreciated. Carlos was great - showed me the space available and quickly completed paperwork to get me on my way!

From start to finish Paul and the folks at Public Storage made the process an easy one. We have been "in storage" for a year and a half, it is convenient, hours are flexible and PAUL is great.

Very pleased with the location and overall appearance of the facility. Paul gave me a tour of the facility and walked with me to my unit.
