I was on the fence about leaving this review; however, I think it's only fair and duty that I make other potential consumers aware before renting storage space at this particular site. In no way is my review an indictment of the staff; this review is about the unit itself. Upon initial purchase of the rental space I was advised to get renter's insurance, I wish I did. If you're going to rent a space from this particular site, it is a must that you carry insurance because this locale is rat and raccoon infested. I cannot even put into monetary numbers how much money I lost due to raccoons and rats that invaded my space and tarnished my belongings. Should you choose to rent here, you're doing so at your own risk and expense.

This is the worst storage unit ever. Let me explain why. I reserved a unit and got sick. Despite of being sick, I paid for a unit in hopes of putting my stuff in storage with the help of my neighbors. Long story short, I never put anything in storage because the sickness went to my entire household. I called Yan a very nice employee there and explained my situation. Yan remembers when I paid him and could barely stand up. He nicely offered a chair.. Anyhow, he said he would ask the manager if I could get a refund since the unit was never used. The manager denied my $100 for the unit. Mind you, I reported a day after initially paying for the unit that I will not use it again. Basically, I lost $100 to a greedy company. I refuse to use them again. Be careful guys we live in cold, heartless world.

Worst place ever. Customer service is non existent. Went to the unit on the 1st at 9:50am and my lock was cut. Rent is due on the first yes but the day was not over. It was 9:50am. The manager has no clue on hire to run this place. Will be keeping my money and buying a shed for $400. Will save a ton.

His unit was in auction status and the property that his unit is at told me that I can make a payment at any location. I don't feel like I should have to drive all the way to Lauderhill when there is a location right next to me. Based off the rest of these reviews you need to do your job and stop slacking!!

Clean place, cameras everywhere and friendly staff too, only thing is the exit dialer is pretty hard to reach from your car, you have to get out to put the code but Moe is always helping with letting me out, she’s very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

We went in to the North Lauderdale location to look for a 10x20 unit not knowing there was a bigger option of 10x30. Manager Moe showed us both units and went over details. There are lower priced internet promotions, however the 10x30 promo price could not be found. Moe went out of her way to find it and saved us some money, she was kind and very professional. Very happy we dealt with her and very satisfied with 2nd month free offer as well.

Would love to comment on the service but when I pulled up at 4pm on Saturday the girl inside signals me to indicate that we cannot come in because she’s on lunch!!! She’s sitting there and waving to me to turn back because she’s on lunch!! Smh!! What customer service!!!

I have never seen better customer service in any other storage facility. Moeina assisted me and made me feel confident in public storage. I love the friendly environment and her ability to take interest in my concerns. I can't fathom ever storing my items elsewhere, especially when I can rely on Moeina and her services to continue to make storage errands such a delight!

I had a major death in the family and had to forfeit my money to pay for funeral fees. I called and spoke to a rep by the name of Monia which she was very helpful and nice but out of her authorization she couldnt do anything. It was up to the propery manager . I found out at the day of my auction nothing could be done. There isnt any way you can actually speak to the property manager. Messages was sent back and forth but nothing was done and due to the fact I made a lower payment. He could not extend my payments. I never asked for anything free i just wanted an extension because I had a death in my family of a love one. My belongings were sold for 127 and some change. My bill was 800 something dollars which I was trying my best to extend. That just goes to show you it didnt matter to them. Only 127 and some change wow such terrible ppl. Thats desensitized and use to doing this to ppl. I had sentimental items in there now I have nothing. But a bill on my account regarding a payment received of the 127 and some change. Thats how I know something could of been done. I have been at this location since April. This property or district manager was heartless. Things happen in life thats why extensions, alowances and exceptions were created. God have mercy for these ppl with high authority power when situations in their life happens. What goes around comes back in any way shape or form. Peace and blessings.

WORST PLACE EVER! DO NOT STORE ANYTHING HERE! i had a couch and a mattress along with sealed boxes of shoes and clothes, and there was rat feces and urine all over my belongings, everything had to be thrown out, the insurance that i paid for 2 years only covers flood and fire, a waste of your money!

If I could of give zero I would. This place is disgusting. I had a climate controlled unit, my storage was infested when there rats. I took my boxes out and had the rat poop fall all over me. They are through my boxes. They ate through my washing machine hoses. Are through my daughters baby baby bottles. Management is not helpful at all. And I still got charged for a month that I didn’t use. I should of known this place was garbage when I noticed ceiling are falling down. I also ended up with water damage to some of my belonged like my couch and bookshelves.

The storage are was spaceish and a drive up, great for unloading & loading of the uhaul truck

I rented a storage last month on 08/11/17, at that time was told I had 30 days to get my stuff or pay the fee. No problem with those terms, I moved everything except two things on 08/22/17. I planned to get them out on Friday 09/09/17, then Hurricane Irma. I evacuated like everyone else, even Public Storage. I received a email on Thursday that they was closing for the safety of there employees. Ok no problem due to me leaving to save my life as well. Being this is the first Hurricane I ever been in. I returned on Wednesday 09/13, I called on Tuesday and spoke with Kelly. Explained that I would get my last two pieces out in the morning when I return. All she said was OK. I go on Wednesday 09/13 as promised, I did not see no one on the property. I called once I got the last two things out, spoke with Kelly again. I told her that I got my last two pieces out. Her response was did you come last night? I said no I was just there a couple of minutes ago. She said ok, I will go and walk the unit and close out the account. She calls me back and tell me that there is a balance on the account. I said you don’t take into consideration the Hurricane? She said no we don’t take that into consideration. She say will you be stopping by to make payment. I told her no I will not where is the man when I signed up for the storage. She said he is off today. I said he told me I had 30 days, was not my fault the hurricane came. They own employees was not at work and the facility was closed. But I was just suppose to not leave town for my own safety when they employees was able to. Kelly thens go on to tell me that the account will not go into collections and they will call and harass me everyday. I told her I am not paying them a penny and to have a nice day. NEVER EVER AGAIN! Anybody know who the district manager is?

Rita's customer service was amazing and I will continue to be a loyal Public Storage customer!!! One thing though facility really needs a golf cart because had to walk really far to unit in the pouring rain!!! Please get a golf cart!!!!
