Worst place ever. I made my reservation online and I’ve been here with my loaded vehicle for 40 minutes now at 11AM Sunday January 22 and there is NO ONE IN THE OFFICE. I can’t get in using the access code until they verify my ID with the manager. Who is ABSENT. AVOID THIS PLACE. I’ve called, left voice mails and NOTHING. Don’t care about you. Just shows how much they care.

I rented a unit at a different location but I couldn’t stop by that particular location before leaving town, so I decided to stop in to this location to see if I could resolve a technical complication with my unit. I arrived first thing in the morning and was met by a staff member named Jamaica. Jamaica listened to me describe my problem and immediately jumped online to try to find a solution. She quickly came up with a path to resolving my problem and even made a few phone calls to make sure everything was in order at my unit location. I was so relieved to have a solution to my problem and I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Jamaica was awesome and would trust her to help me with any problem!

Great location. Staff is helpful. The only that is absolutely ridiculous and aggravating to use is the elevators. To many safety Parameters makes it hard to use and causes delay

I used this facility for two years and didn’t have any issues. Cleanly and secure. But the best part was the customer service by Tiara. She is absolutely amazing. I was told one thing about payment for vacating and then another happened. But she promptly fixed it! Thank you so much Tiara!

Jamaica is definitely one of the best customer service representatives I’ve experienced in a very long time. My moving experience was awful and public storage was closing a few minutes before me arriving. She was so sweet and understanding and waited for the moving company to finish unloading before leaving for her shift. She didn’t just stop there with the hospitality, today I arrived and my car battery died. I panicked and asked her if she by any chance had jumping cables. She did and opened my hood and put the cables on for me. I had no idea what to do and very grateful she was her. Jamaica deserves a promotion and raise. Thank you Public Storage for hiring such an amazing person. In the world we live in today acts of kindness are priceless.

The elevator button for the 4th floor has been punched out for a month. Cannot call the other elevator without employees help. This is ridiculous, should have been fixed weeks ago.

Im from Beaumont Texas but have family in Houston Texas , and we needed help with a storage unit. I have to say this is the best customer service I’ve ever had 27 years of my life . Terrible leadership. Terrible experience. Don’t waste your time or money.

DO NOT RENT HERE - LITERALLY THE WORST STORAGE EXPERIENCE. THE FIVE STAR REVIEW HAVE TO BE FAKE. 1) the climate control is NOT controlled. I've walked in there at times and the AC was clearly broken. I just went in yesterday, a very damp and humid day in Houston. 2) Yesterday - middle of January - My storage unit interior 4th floor, middle of facility - was so DAMP. All my boxes were damp and flimsy. I'm sure all my stored photos are damaged. I will be going through everything for signs of MOLD at my own time and cost to move everything out. I was told by the girl working there i needed to buy something to help the contain the moisture. I THOUGHT I WAS PAYING FOR CLIMATE CONTROLLED, so why I needed to buy anything more - and why no one told me this could be an issue up front? If I knew that the climate wasn't controlled, I would have never rented this filthy place. I only did becuase I live 2 minutes away 3) TRY TO FIND SOMEONE TO TALK TO at corporate - impossible. Every time i have had to go to the office, and ask a question it is like I am inconveniencing whoever is working. The worst service EVER

Of all the storage places I’ve used throughout the years, this place is by far the BEST! Even the Property Manager, Carrie, goes OVER and BEYOND her call of duty to keep her customers HAPPY and everyone just LOVES her there! I’ve been a customer for 4 years. High turnover horrible customer service. Saturday came before 5 no one in office. Today one person working was in my unit building asked if she would cut off lock. Then called 10 min later waited 20 min she never showed up. Also bomb for rodents and bug regularly. Also d seee online went through my unit during my rental period. Photos.

Complete joke and waste of time and money. Took a month to get a refund for a unit I never received access to.

First time made reservation was Sunday and Kamecia called right before letting if needed prior to moving because closing soon. I did show up because I was busy but I thought my reservation was good. Unbeknownst to me, their system cancel my reservation when I am on August 8th. She sat me down and guide to reapplying for new reservation. Helped me pick size of unit. I was so stressed, but Kamicia took care of me. She is very knowledgeable about Public Storage and was best for me. One of the best customer service I gotten in a long time. One happy customer!

I actually have a storage at a different location where I use to live, which is a drive. When I don't have time to make that trip I come to this location to pay my storage fee. There's a young woman named Kamecia who works there. She always has a smile on her face and is very welcoming. Literally in the midst of of them storm I had to pick up moving supplies(grrrr in the rain)! But despite the horrible weather i made it into this location yesterday to buy my boxes etc. and talk about Superb customer service. Already irritated and wet the sales rep Kamecia Cooper was so very helpful offered napkins to assist me (the drenched lady) dry off too kind and thoughtful and as if my mind wasn’t already boggled she helped me select t the correct size boxes for what i needed. Needless to say she got me in and out quickly so i could get out while the rain slacked up! Thanks again even in the mist of me thinking “what a day” you made it better just from your kindness and thoughtfulness. A+ from me for sure customer service expectations exceeded!

I've dealt with a few Public Storage locations. The people who work at this one are by far the best I've dealt with, especially Kamecia. She's genuinely got a good attitude whenever I go there and she cares. She's always gone out of her way to help if she can. I've been there for about a year now and both her and the rest of the staff have treated me well on several occasions. I rarely write reviews - would highly recommend these folks.

We chose this because it was the closest Public Storage. There are probably other storage companies but we wanted a familiar name to store the important. This location is maybe a block away from the Apple store and St. Johns. A pretty safe and secure location. From all the public storages in this location, this seems to be the best managed and maintained facility. The staff is polite, professional and actually very honest. and I can tell actually enjoy helping new customers such as ourselves. They answered all the questions about security and protection and prices. I really liked a particular manager, Tamika, who apparently makes people around her at ease with her management style.

I am giving this a 5 for the actual process of signing a contract for the unit. Kamecia was in the office, showed me the unit, explained everything to me, and answered questions I had at that time. Everything was easy and she gave me some history of the facility. BecauseI have not actually started using the facility yet I cannot review anything else other than my first impression.

RATS RATS RATS. They raised my rent on the third month, and continue raising it. Ought to be illegal. I was out of the country for 10 months watching my rent rise. RAT INFESTATION. Not sure what condition my items will be in when I have a new home to move into. Disgusting. Look at the photos, rat droppings everywhere.

I have never had such amazing customer service. In my case this was an unpleasant life situation causing me to have to put my life's belongings in storage. But Reneasha is incredible, she was kind, patient and very helpful. She went above and beyond helping me with a unit. She was concerned about me as a person not just a payment...the unit I needed had recently been repaired due to a small leak, she had not confirmed the leak was repaired yet and didnt want me to risk my belongings in there, so she found me another unit at the same price...I highly recommend this facility. Ask for Reneasha she is amazing....

I received the best customer service today ,from Alvaro, at the Public Storage location at 3732A Westheimer. Alvaro was extremely professional and thorough with my rental process. He took the time to show me 3 different unit options that would best fit my items. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 12 years and I would like to have an employee like Alvaro work for me.

If I could give 1 star to this facility I would. Only rent a unit here if you want your possessions to be covered in rodent feces. The actually storage facility will not assist you in any way and refer you to the insurance company. Unfortunately, the insurance company will only cover $250 worth of damages from rodents. I understand that there are factors which cannot be controlled by humans (i.e. floods, fires, theft) but rodent control is not one of them. The incompetence at the front desk is also quite astounding; if one was to write a textbook on this topic, I would study this public storage unit first! Don't waste your time or money here, there are too many options around town and the units are far too expensive to suffer in this fashion. I have attached some images to help in your decision making.

The price seems to be okay for storage make sure if you hire movers they take their time storing your things in the storage unit all the way up to the ceiling organize your furniture against the walls and boxes on top of your furniture living the walkway down the middle, I did have some issues with Pest Control looks like something was eating on my Turkish rug that I had there's an heirloom in my family since the fifties make sure they put down a bug bite and Pest Control in your storage unit before you move in and after once a month don't be surprised if your rates will get increased within 6 months or 12 months significantly

This location is not wroth your money! DO NOT rent here. The elevators area broken all the time and are an ongoing safety hazard!! The AC in many areas doesn't work or breaks down and they take weeks to fix. The are painting and working on things that don't matter but it needs new roof which leaks, new elevators, new AC and most of all stable manager!!! Zero stars

This might be a slightly newer facility but the lady who was working was unhelpful, made rules about a $20 lock they sell despite having over 65% of the locks not be the type they sell. Next would not except the insurance I had obtained and said that we had to pick one of the plans that they provided then we could try to remove the insurance cost at a later date. Started to make the contract then decided to look elsewhere due to all the extras now being added and as we left she is screaming at us from the building as we are walking to the care. NEVER EVER.

I would definitely recommend using this storage facility. The location is great and customer service was perfect. Ashlie was Awesome helping me figure out what size storage I needed and all my other questions. I will be telling my friends and family to go there and ask for her.

Everything was good until they removed loading carts from public area. Its like you have to bring your own dolly. Ridiculous

Basic self storage facility. Climate (humidity) controlled units within the building, and normal ones you can drive up to.

I absolutely do not recommend this storage unit. When we first moved in till today the elevators do not work. One day they will start and the next day they are down. Why we still kept this unit? The day we moved out it started to rain so we went to the first unit that was available.

This storage unit is a nightmare. Indoor units are not climate controlled like I expected and their elevators NEVER work. Complete waste of money

This place just wants to watch the world burn. You begin your delightful storage experience with a rude employee. After passing her, you can begin hauling your cart full of junk up and over a a ridiculous hill. This makes a fun-for-all ages game of "which valuable item will fall off the cart first?!" to which the winner is guaranteed entrance into the unit via two sets of automatic doors that don't work. Door number 1 gets you a door slam in the face and door number 2 may or may not even open! Door number 3 and 4? Flat out broken. Once you have passed through the beginning phase, onward you go to enjoy your climate controlled as-hot-as-the-outside storage experience.

Patrick was incredible and I want someone else to know, especially the company who employs him. His customer service skills went above and beyond great. He was compassionate, polite, respectful and patient. Not the average qualities of a young man who sits behind a counter by himself during the day. Here's what happened. Here's what you should know about your exceptional employee. An older woman came to the door as he was about to show me my new storage space before I signed a lease. He knew her name, greeted her and asked if she could wait a minute for him to show me this space. But after she looked at him, almost as if she didn't understand, he asked me if I wouldn't mind if he took care of her. He went behind the desk and she began to sort through her bags and papers and envelopes that were all double wrapped in plastic bags to protect them in case it rained. It took her a while and he never showed impatience or annoyance. He pulled out blank checks and handed them to him and he clearly knew the drill. "Would you like me to fill this out for you?" "Yes," she said. He took one check and returned the others. She stuffed those into her bag as he filled out the check, handed it back to her to sign and gave her a receipt. After she left, he showed me my space and I signed the lease. But I was so impressed by his careful way with her. His absolute respect for her even after she left, he didn't roll his eyes or make an inappropriate comment to me or anything. He was remarkable. Really. It made such an impression on me that I had to write and post not only my comments, but also five stars for exceptional service. Thank you. P.S. Patrick seems ready for a big promotion and possibly and advanced role in the company. You want to keep this guy, challenge him and give him more to do. It will come back to you.

Amber provided excellent customer service. She was very professional and made signing for my unit a smooth process.

My experience was disappointing. We planned my friend's move on Saturday afternoon, but when we arrived to Storage by 4:30, turned out they do not allow to use carts after office hours (5pm). They lock them in their storage instead. The reason is that they afraid their costumers to steal their carts. All the attempts to convince a reception lady, who was very nice but adamant, to reach manager (Darrell?) by phone did not succeed. My friend, me and other people who came to help, all had to change plans, and come next day. The big words WE CARE in the elevator sounded like a bad joke after all.
